I was never a fan of Nascar or racing till I went to the World of Outlaws races in Kansas, lakeside speeday. It was so exciting to watch, unlike Nascar. One race that's 200-300 laps. It's no fun to sit there for 4 hours watching the same race. WORLD OF OUTLAWS ROCK

I should not have been so rude. I apologise. But I do not believe there is anything comparable to Outlaw Sprinters anywhere, but I will sus these Brisca's out. Here in Oz we race Sprintcars- albeit on slower tracks- but don't claim to have anything near as fast, dangerous and, obviously, exciting. I also don't understand the 'full contact' comment. A good race will not see ANY contact as they can be surprisingly fragile- every wheel is different and so on, etc. Anyway, I'll go have a look...

I went and had a look. We have had similar types of racing like this in the past in various categories. The element oc contact, as you put it, I reckon makes it less about real racing skill and more about the spectacle of seeing cars crash. In our support categories like Super Sedans, we get a similar style of racing with a lot more push and shove. But the Sprinter is King; a machine designed and constructed solely to go extremely fast. Still, cheers for the pointer- they are odd little things.
