The most surprising thing here is that there are actually people out there who support and believe the shit that comes out of O'Reilly's face. How stupid does one have to be to believe the blatant lies that the douchebag spews every time he opens his dirty mouth!?
I can't believe this passes for a news channel. He actually told them to cut his mic when he started giving information. What kind of interview is that?
Funny how in this video a lot of comments are about gays. This is a political discussion, what does being gay h ave anything to do with it? Does that mean he isn't allowed to have an opinion? I thought society hates that kind of stuff when it happens to women or blacks for example, but I guess its okay to do it to gays.
As for Bill O'Reilly. That dude seems to be the real fag in this discussion. Insulting someone because of a different opinion on political stance is just childish.
He is not rationalizing the motives behind them. he is stating, factually, that the CIA under bush senior trained the people behind his fathers death. Trained them, in fact, to overthrow a democracy.
Father or not. This guys rationalizing the motives behind mass murderers just enough to place the blame right back on America's lap. It's a sad day when this country has two political parties, one that wants to advance the nation and another that hates the nation. The time for talk with you people is ticking. You have no oath registered in heaven to destroy the country; while we shall have the most solemn one to "preserve, protect, and defend it."
@hipstermi Yes, Government, the shinning beacon of rational thinking!? Funny; I always thought that Atheist Dictators did most of the killing in the World? I mean, Last I checked; Hitler, Stalin and Kim Il Jong weren’t exactly bible-thumpers, were they? I guess they tend to brush over those kinds of glaring facts on MSNC and Comedy Central. BTW: The quote I gave came from Lincoln. Author of other great God-Centered Government speeches like the Gettysburg Address and his 2nd Inaugural.
"Funny; I always thought that Atheist Dictators did most of the killing in the World? I mean, Last I checked; Hitler, Stalin and Kim Il Jong weren’t exactly bible-thumpers"
That's a stupid reply. Aetheism is not an organized belief, so pretending it's "the same" as a religion doesn't work.
Also Hitler was a Christian, backed by a Christian nation (you know...the German people) and cited Christianity in his speeches + Mein Kampf.
@hipstermi If one man looks different from another, thinks different, has more money; or has ‘judgmental’ moral beliefs; all these things will lead to conflict and eventually War (that is why you consider people like me to be Radical, Racist, Greedy Religious Fanatics. It’s also why you, the prick in this video, Hitler, Stalin and Kim Il Jong hate America and the unique individual liberties she promotes). An no; this rant was not one of Hitler's Table Talk Discussion points. But this is:
@hipstermi "National Socialism and religion cannot exist together. The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. " --Adolf Hitler, July: 1941.
Challenge for you- provide a quote NOT from "Hitler's Table Talk" Then again, I'm betting you got it from some web page and didn't even know the origin of that quote. You do know SECOND HAND accounts aren't the same as written word or speeches?
I will provide many quotes showing Hitler either as a Christian...or pandering to the Christians.
You do know all those people who followed him- military, SS, guards, over operators- that German people were.........CHRISTIANS?
"“The best characterization is provided by the product of this religious education, the Jew himself. His life is only of this world, and his spirit is inwardly as alien to true Christianity as his nature two thousand years previous was to the great founder of the new doctrine" “Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.”
“The anti-Semitism of the new movement [Christian Social movement] was based on religious ideas instead of racial knowledge.” –Adolf Hitler Mein Kampf
WOW....that completely defeats your quote...WOW....
"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth"
"Just as the Jew could once incite the mob of Jerusalem against Christ, so today he must succeed in inciting folk who have been duped into madness to attack those who, God's truth! seek to deal with this people in utter honesty and sincerity. "
Hitler, Munich, 7-28-22
Your quote came from a second hand account... mine are from PUBLIC SPEECHES. Proves you wrong, huh?
@hipstermi First: Thanks for the interpretation of Hitler’s Table Talks; I get Wikilopidia too. Hitler never formally published any writings about his relationship with Ava Brown; so I guess, according to you; they weren’t screwing, right? Second: The God of the Jews and the God of Christians are one in the same—the God of Abraham. As a matter of fact, Christians are Jews; the Jews of the New Covenant. Jesus himself was a Jew.
"First: Thanks for the interpretation of Hitler’s Table Talks"
What "interpretation"? I cited a magazine article for you to read. Second...why is it you dishonest "Christ"ians never properly cite this whenever I see it quoted on youtube? Why are you guys afraid of citing the source? Cause people know it's a bullshit book? Because you guys can only pull ONE BOOK for this argument?
@hipstermi I don’t know if you noticed; but Hitler wasn’t exactly a fan of ‘the chosen people;’ and Christians were no exception. Pope John Paul II is still being considered for Canonization, partially because of his work under Nazi occupied Poland when he illegally, at the punishment of death, secretly became ordained a priest and helped others do the same.
@hipstermi . You can quote Hitler all day with lines that support your argument and insist I leave out any lines that counter your argument; but factually, you’re standing on weak ground: Don’t you find it compellingly odd that an outspoken Christian would set, as his prime objective, the extermination of his own kind (or are you suggesting that Hitler committed suicide for precisely for this reason)?
@hipstermi No, I think the overwhelming evidence supports the idea that Hitler and all of his henchmen had more in common with your Atheist beliefs of ‘one homogeneous people and one collective thought with no religions disintegration;’ enforced by the intellectual ‘better judgment’ of an all powerful central state.
AND...before you put up any Hitler quote again, which you probably copied from a Christian web page...I want you to do more research. Was it from "Hitler's Table Talk"? EVERY Christian on Youtube...this seems to be the ONLY Hitler source they can quote from to argue this.
THEN google Richard Carrier and his article "Was Catholic Hitler A "Christian"? On the Trail of Bogus Quotes."
"In the Bible we find the text, 'That which is neither hot nor cold will I spew out of my mouth.' This utterance of the great Nazarene has kept its profound validity until the present day. "
Hitler, Munich, 4-10-23
"We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out. "
@mdstalla Finally; Hitler’s Modus Operandi was to make contradicting statements and flat out lie (yes, in writing) to win the trust of his enemies just before he annihilated them. Remember Nevil Chamberlin’s ‘Peace in Our Time’ declaration while he held a signed contract from Hitler promising to discontinue hostiles? Or how about the Nazi-Soviet Non Aggression Pact signed within a year of Hitler invading Russia? You’re quoting a habitual fraud and liar and taking him at his word.
"You’re quoting a habitual fraud and liar and taking him at his word"
So let me get this straight...you, a "Christ"ian are telling me Hitler lied (I agree) and therefore any pro Christian statement must have been a lie.
With that same logic...why can't any Hitler Atheist statement be considered a lie if Hitler did say it (and Hitlers Table Talks is rather sketchy on that)
Seems like you are giving your team all the advantages, huh?
1. if Hitler "lied" about his Christian beliefs, despite the many quotes, the pictures, the crosses on medals...why did he cite a CHRISTIAN...Martin Luther? You know the guy who wrote "On the Jews and Their Lies"?
2. Curious if you also have an excuse for Martin Luther?
3. Even if you excuse Hitler...what about his followers? SS, Gestapo, Wehrmacht, guards, officers, experimental DRs, oven operators, etc...Germany was a "Christian Nation" at the time, yes?
@hipstermi To answer your questions: 1. why didn't I site "Hitler's Table Talks"? I did. Re-read the last sentence of the comment before my quote: “And no; this rant was not one of Hitler's Table Talk Discussion points. BUT THIS IS: [followed by my quote]. Perhaps we should reexamine your suggestion on improving comprehension skills. 2. Why do all Christian’s use Table Talk Quotes?
"why didn't I site "Hitler's Table Talks"? I did."
Wrong.
The post I replied to you did NOT identify the source. The entire post is" "National Socialism and religion cannot exist together. The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. " --Adolf Hitler, July: 1941."
Hitler's Table Talks quotes= SECOND HAND accounts.
All the quotes I gave? Public speeches + Mein Kampf... stuff you can't deny Hitler said or wrote. That carries a lot more weight than your book from the 50s.
It's like this...did George Bush go to Iraq for "Gog and Magog"? President Chiraq said so. But that's a SECOND HAND account so we don't really know (I dont think Bush confirmed or denied). Be sad if all those GIs died for his superstitious conservative beliefs...
Also...you should do more research how historians and biographers work. Often works written after the fact or second hand accounts, like Hitler's Table Talk, are re-examined for accuracy. We learned that Otto Frank edited Anne's Diary because he didn't want the public to see his wife ridiculed by Anne, & Anne's sexual talk was too steamy for the 50s. I read about Wyatt Earp's first biography being written by his widow with a lot of errors. Elliot Ness flat out made it up.
@hipstermi I can’t speak for anyone but myself; but again, you seem to cherry-pick sources that fit your argument and utterly reject those that don’t (is it possible in your mind that the theory of Falsified Table Talk Quotes was introduced and pushed by a Flaming Liberal/Christen-Hater like yourself—what makes their theory so credible)? In any event; perhaps we should reexamine your suggestion that I am giving my team all the advantages. Hitler vs. Martin Luther:
"(is it possible in your mind that the theory of Falsified Table Talk Quotes was introduced and pushed by a Flaming Liberal/Christen-Hater like yourself—what makes their theory so credible)?"
You are attacking a man you probably know nothing about...isn't that "bearing false witness"?
and no I dont "hate" Christians. I ask for proof to outlandish claims, same as if you told me you "knew" Bigfoot or Goblins were "real".
On top of that...Hitlers Table Talks was SECOND HAND ACCOUNTS.
"I can’t speak for anyone but myself; but again, you seem to cherry-pick sources that fit your argument and utterly reject those that don"
Cherry pick? I reject ONE BOOK. You cite...ONE BOOK of seond hand accounts written/ translated in the early 50s. Seems like you picked the one that fit your Christian mindset to give German, a CHRISTIAN NATION with CHRISTIAN PEOPLE... a pass.
Tthe man you Christian bore false witness on, seems to have an impressive historical and research CV.

@hipstermi Spare me your lame, pop culture, trendy ‘University’ prescribed scribblings. It’s a joke to listen to a guy who rejects the work of Aquinas, Newton Milton as 'Superstition'; while simultaneously clinging to every word of a hack professor at one of the most Leftist Universities in the World! Are you kidding me, Richard Carrier (you just lost your credibility)! What, haven’t you got around to Janeane Garofalo’s cutting edge essay on the Meaning of Life, yet???
"Spare me your lame, pop culture, trendy ‘University’ prescribed scribblings"
Yeah I notice you conservatives do seem to have a "problem" with people with educations these days. Not exactly a great debate point. "hey Seth...they learning on their own...get em! yuck yuck yuck"
"while simultaneously clinging to every word of a hack professor at one of the most Leftist Universities in the World"
Citing one article is hardly clinging to every word. You just Christian lied!
Conservatives sit for hours listening to talk radio pundits who tell them what to think. They go to church were they are told what to think. if you dare question it, invisible silent God "said to" and you are told what to think...
I would also like to ask...why didn't you directly address any points I made? You seem to make a lot of angry Christian insults and all but didnt mention:
1. why you would believe second hand accounts over historical record
2. the MANY public QUOTES I gave from Hitler proving his admiration of Christianity
3. Nazi medals, symbols, etc. depicting a crosses and Christian symbols
4. all the recorded meetings Hitler had with church officials
@hipstermi And of course you can’t talk about a great Americans like Washington and Adams without a Liberal interjecting that they owned slaves. Ya, they probably swore a lot too; what’s your point? We’re talking about two men who defeated the World’s Superpower and founded the greatest and most compassionate country that has ever blessed known Civilization! By the way; it is interesting to note that I’ve said you hate America twice now without a counter.
"nd of course you can’t talk about a great Americans like Washington and Adams without a Liberal interjecting that they owned slaves. Ya, they probably swore a lot too; what’s your point?"
Conservatives like to say "Christian nation" in many debates. Such as irrational opposition to gay marriage. Then they bring up "founding fathers=christian"
These were fallible men who left a system of change. I am not bound by their 1700s beliefs.
@hipstermi You’re quicker to rectify obscure Hitler misquotes and to prove the evils of Christianity than you are to defend your own Patriotism. Saying that you don’t hate Christians followed by every reason why you should is about as genuine as a Liberal saying he supports the troops followed by every reason why he shouldn’t. Also, I don’t like debating the motives of the German Ground Troop or its Citizenry (Christian or not).
@hipstermi Life under a Iron Fist Dictatorship whose secret police arrest ‘traitors’ at random and ships them off to Death Camps has a tendency to create ‘reluctant compliance.’ Nevertheless, we still do have stories of brave Christian Resistance Fighters like Helmuth James Graf von Moltke, John Paul II and Oskar Schindler. I’ve given you multiple, counter arguments why Hitler and his Henchmen were not Christians
That Pope install Hitler birthday tradition? Cardinal Bertram of Berlin was to send "warmest congratulations to the Fuhrer in the name of the bishops and the dioceses in Germany" and added with "fervent prayers which the Catholics of Germany are sending to heaven on their altars."
The Goring (President of the Reichstag) Wedding photo shows Hitler as best man...in a church.
@hipstermi Christians (They persecuted Jews and Christians alike; Hitler’s tactic de’Jour was to feed his enemies with written statements of false-support and manipulative lies; and any ‘off the record comments’ he may have made denouncing Christianity are apparently ‘out of bounds’ because you read so in a magazine-- Richard Carrier of UC Berkley, I’m still laughing at that one!). Funny being told I can’t criticize some obscure writer because I ‘don’t even know him.’
"and any ‘off the record comments’ he may have made denouncing Christianity are apparently ‘out of bounds’ because you read so in a magazine--"
Hitler's Table Talk was debated for years before this. You have ONE SOURCE to back up your claim. You didnt even question it because it makes you feel better about this.
"told I can’t criticize some obscure writer because I ‘don’t even know him"
You made accusation about motivation that you cant know. lie/sin
@hipstermi You’ve got the same problem with “Christ” ians! Congratulations, you’ve got the ‘upper hand’ in the scientific debate of ‘does the Christian God really exist.’ But, essentially, that’s the difference between Religion and Science. If God was hanging out in a Petri dish or in a math equation he’d be science; and frankly, not all that ‘Godly.’ Faith is a tough pill to swallow; you think it’s hard as an atheist; try it as a believer…but nothing worth achieving is easy to pursue.
"You’ve got the same problem with “Christ” ians! Congratulations"
Making fun of silly beliefs is hardly he level of Christian bigotry. I mean...it's not like I'm lobbying to get laws passed against them marrying or anything. (and hey didnt you guys try that Christian trick against interracial marriage as well?)
So you've tried to "explain" why you can't prove god or these miracles exist/happened. You somehow make it out like there's something "wrong" to dare ask that.
I bet if your best friend came to YOU and said "I KNOW Mermaids exist...and I can totally do telekinesis!" you would probably say " Prove it"
So why should it be different for your tales of fantastic beings and abilities?
Oh and if you want to bring up "leftist schools"...can you tell me why Bob Jones University banned black students till...the 1970s? Didn't it ban interracial dating till...2000 (and even then only after bad press when Bush visited them and didnt seem to mind) 21st century and still bigots?
Bob Jones University...is a CHRISTIAN school...in the SOUTH, yes?
And South Carolina...University of SC & Clemson had been integrated by COURT ORDER 8 years prior! Great southern hospitality
@hipstermi The Hitler you wish to believe: “Amongst the accusations which are directed against Germany…is the charge that the National Socialist State is hostile to religion. In answer to that charge I should like to make before the German people the following solemn declaration: No one in Germany has in the past been persecuted because of his religious views, nor will anyone in the future be so persecuted." -Hitler, speech in the Reichstag on 01/30/1939.
You are not qualified to speak for me. That's you Christian lying again.
How come you didnt answer that part about Christian schools and "problems" with race? Or Southern schools in general being forced to admit black students?
You Christian lied and can't know what I believe. But I noticed you "forgot" to address my points. Let's start with a simple few: if Hitler was "not a Christian" why did Pope Pious institute the tradition of celebrating Hitler's BIRTHDAY every year?
Why did the Catholic church NOT excommunicate Hitler...ever?
BONUS question: why did southern Christian schools have to be forced to admit black students decades after other states?
@hipstermi In a World ripe with despotism, injustice; hunger and disease; the Liberal’s once again take center stage to boldly…fight for Siegfried and Roy's beach-side wedding??? All factual-points aside; what kind of man are you? And racism…Oh, yes; can’t have a conversation with a Liberal without that card being played.
"World ripe with despotism, injustice; hunger and disease; the Liberal’s once again take center stage to boldly…fight for Siegfried and Roy's beach-side wedding??"
Another conservative asshole trick- you are pretending "gay marriage doesnt matter because of hunger". Bullshit- you dont really care about that, it's about your RELIGION. Just fucking admit it.
"racism…Oh, yes; can’t have a conversation with a Liberal without that card being played."
That seems to be the only comeback you guys have- "play the race card". It's pathetic you guys repeat the same tricks, but you even have to repeat the same wording?
Oh yes...Newt Gingritch did write a "script" for you guys to use in the 90s, yes? "Language, A Key Mechanism of Control"
Saying "race card" is usually a deflection from answering a charge.
"despotism, injustice; hunger and disease; the Liberal’s once again take center stage to boldly…fight for Siegfried and Roy's beach-side wedding???"
If you knew anything about history, you would know your conservative asshole deception is nothing new. Suffragists were told they could not protest anymore cause of the Civil War...they were told this AGAIN for WW1. Civil Rights were told to shut up because of Nam. When's a "good time" ?
@hipstermi It always struck me as odd that the ‘defenders’ of ‘non-judgementalism’ and ‘non-labeling of entire groups of people’ freely use terms like “Racist Southerners,” and “Radical Christians” in their everyday talk. Look, any group that felt that Interracial Marriage should have been outlawed 150 years ago is as misguided as those that push for the legalization of Same Sex Marriage today.
"Look, any group that felt that Interracial Marriage should have been outlawed 150 years ago is as misguided as those that push for the legalization of Same Sex Marriage today."
CONSERVATIVES of today will be remembered like we remember those who opposed interracial marriage. Interracial marriage, like gay marriage slowly gained more acceptance overseas, in certain states, and as usual, the conservative/ southern states held on to this. sound familiar?
@hipstermi I don’t disagree with you one bit. But to say that this was a Christian movement, is a bit; shall I say, bigoted. If a left handed guy steals your car; in your view; all left handed guys must be thieves. If some obscure Baptist University didn’t allow black students into their school 30 years ago, do I owe you an apology because I’m a Catholic? And another thing (and this goes back to my earlier point about Liberals insisting on a spotless, ivory-white past);
"But to say that this was a Christian movement, is a bit; shall I say, bigoted. If a left handed guy steals your car; in your view; all left handed guys must be thieves"
That's a Christian lie...I never said anything remotely like that nor did I point to one individual.
"obscure Baptist University didn’t allow black students into their school 30 years ago, do I owe you an apology because I’m a Catholic"
Hold on a secnd...you are being conservative deceptive again. This was not "an obscure Baptist University" it was a major Christian school and TWO major state schools.
I asked you to go back to your original point about how southerners are always "friendly" and not racist...when they had to be legally forced to admit black students. Wasnt just this state either. JFK had to fight Miss over this
The Catholic church- I dont see how you can be part of it. You should have left that church for another. Child rape is nothing new (sadly) & not the last we will see (sadly), but not only did it happen, your leadership COVERED IT UP. Not only did the guilty go free, leadership, including the Vatican AND your current demigod/ rockstar Pope .... REASSIGNED these rapists to prey on other kids.
And you continue to support and give money to this org.
@hipstermi ); if White Southern (or all American Whites for that matter) behaved poorly in the past; do they not get credit for changing their ways? I mean, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the KKK isn’t exactly calling the shots these days! Of course you Liberals still act like it’s Antebellum Mississippi around here; but I think White Americans have made tremendous strives in improving race relations.
"but I think White Americans have made tremendous strives in improving race relations"
I agree on improvements, but I also agree with an old Malcolm X quote:
"If you stick a knife nine inches into my back and pull it out three inches, that is not progress. Even if you pull it all the way out, that is not progress. Progress is healing the wound, and America hasn't even begun to pull out the knife."
(to be fair X- fucked up religion, & also wrong on opposing interracial marriage)
@hipstermi But the same “one bad—all bad--forever bad” attitude you have for White Christians seems to disappear entirely for Blacks. As a culture, they’re not exactly doing so hot are they? Prison rates, drug use, fatherless children, welfare, crime…you’d think Liberals would take issue with this? Oh, no, not a freaking peep! They’ll either deny it, minimize it or throw it back on us and say it’s White Christan Conservatives fault!
As to crime...I remember the 1990s...we had a President who came up with a crime prevention bill to put more cops on the streets. this created more jobs, and...put more cops on the street! which lowered the crime rate.
Conservatives generally admonish Clinton...and followed up on him with an idiot who once held "Jesus Day" as Governor.
@hipstermi If some crazy, White, Christian sect was running up these kind of statistics; you’d be all over them! Why is that? I’ll tell you why. Liberal elites, from their Ivory University Towers, look down on blacks and say, “You’re hopeless.” “You stand no chance at making it in this cruel and oppressive World unless you rely solely on my enlightened, superior compassion (to quote the movie 300, “But I am a compassionate God, all I ask is that you kneel before me,”).”
"I’ll tell you why. Liberal elites, from their Ivory University Towers, look down on blacks and say, “You’re hopeless"
CHALLENGE- show me a quote that is anything like this.
As to your batshit conspiracy theory about colleges- ALL your GOP leaders have college degrees, often Ivy League (Bush/Yale, Rommney/ Harvard, Jindal/ Brown& Oxford) or other big schools (Scott Brown/Tufts+Boston, Buchanan/ Georgetown, )
@hipstermi “Tax Cuts for the Rich” Nice rebuttal. Wasn’t it you who just yelled at me for dropping cookie-cutter Conservative talking points!? You forgot War for Oil and Evil Corporate America! Come on bud; don’t start slipping up now! Out of curiosity, if we don’t cut the Rich’s tax Burdon; whose taxes are we going to cut? I wasn’t aware anyone else was contributing this pool (the top 10% of income earners in this country paid 71% of the tax Burdon last year)?
@hipstermi )? “Were JFK and FDR Southerners to you?” I said Southerners were all Democrats, not Democrats were all Southerners. By the way, and again, just out of curiosity, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Does that sound like a Liberal or a Conservative decree (hint: 3 months later he tried to oust the Liberal/Communist Dictator of Cuba)? “Another Conservative lie.” Again, you’re rebuttals are getting weak--
@hipstermi Sorry for the delay in my response. I got up early this morning; made a cup of coffee and reviewed the breadth of our entire debate. The good news is that you are right; there are some very smart and decent Academics out there that are Atheists; or at least Pragmatists who may be open to the idea of God, but are just not convinced that established religion has found him. The bad news is; you’re not one of them. I don’t mean that as an insult,
"The bad news is; you’re not one of them. I don’t mean that as an insult,"
You aren't even honest on your childish insults. Some "Christ"ian. You keep crying about me, but I have probem I KNOW MORE THAN YOU even about your own magical religion.
Isn't it funny...I pointed out how Christian angry you get and what a parrot you are...your reply was that I'm angry. "I know you are but what am I" hasnt worked since like 3rd grade....but it is more your speed.
@hipstermi do you know what I was doing this whole time!?..That’s right, working out (in the shitiest pair of 1989 sweat pants known to man, mind you)! Three months and one week into it; he gave up. I love him to death; but he’s still bitter; not to mention fat; while I’ve been able keep myself in somewhat respectable shape ever since.
Don't really care. Your conservative angry posts are just these long and boring childish rants where you think you "tell it like it is." I honestly can't read any more of this self righteous drivel.
Maybe magical Jesus can help you learn to write better.
Because I didn't write 20 long pointless posts like you did? Hardly. Also...remember how I said when you can't debate points you go into these childish self declared victories? Sit doggie....here's your treat!
Here's a point your conservative assholism ran from. I asked you to show a quote proving your angry statement and you failed to do so: "I’ll tell you why. Liberal elites, from their Ivory University Towers, look down on blacks and say, “You’re hopeless"
@hipstermi "Assholism." Now you're speaking my language! Read my last 'rant;' I've got some questions for you I'd like to know (not to fight, but so I can understand your logic better--it would be a favor if you could give me some in-sight). Yes, my story is a bit cheesy but their is a point (so that you can understand my logic better). Regarding my 'Hopeless' comment. I agree with you. There are Racist people in the country today; the slave-drivers of the Antebellum
@hipstermi South didn’t just disappear, they are still among us. I submit to you, however, that they haven’t changed their views towards Blacks; they’ve only changed their method of repressing them (a quite clever masquerade if you ask me). Masters have always seen themselves as Enlighten, Aristocrats whose superior compassion is the best thing that ever happened to such
@hipstermi a lot of lost souls as the black community (not all slave owners were cruel people who cursed the Black race; quit the opposite in fact). To them, Blacks are an inferior species that will forever be reliant on their humane generosity for food, shelter, medicine and education (at times) and even discipline. This ‘slave to master’ relationship continues today in the form of Black votes for Liberal-sponsored entitlement handouts.
@hipstermi ; I mean that as a true and honest assessment of our debate. You are a B-list thinker who, quite frankly is out of my league. After reviewing our discussion and considering the arguments and counter-arguments; I am satisfied in saying that you are neither intelligent nor convincing. You are in fact, nothing more than an angry guy who read Mein Kopf. Your anger toward Christianity and other religious beliefs is disgusting and reprehensible.
@hipstermi When you are presented with a reasonable counter-argument; your mind don’t expand and reflect; only your resentment does. That is not honest intellectualism; that is pure bigotry. Yes, I made a few cocky statements (with our without exclamation points), I admit it; but you’re inhaling and exhaling Christian/Conservative hatred at a rate I have never seen before; congratulations!
"When you are presented with a reasonable counter-argument; your mind don’t expand and reflect; only your resentment does"
You haven't presented ONE reasonable arguments.
"That is not honest intellectualism"
No...people like you who think "god says" is an excuse for bigotry are intellectually lazy. Your silly church set world history back so much with that kind of idiocy.
@hipstermi ! The sad thing is that, despite you’re undying love for Academia; I can all but guarantee that I’ve got more letters behind my last name than you do in front. But that means noting. In the real world; a man must stake his claim; make an impact and change lives; not just have a piece of paper that says he’s qualified to do so. Universities have been infested with the back-patting, paper genius of Liberal mindlessness for decades now; coincidently,
I respect education yes. Dad was a college professor (computers). I'm sure you will have a "problem" with that. Your conservative opposition to education is nothing new. It does explain why so many of you are happy in ignorance.
"ve got more letters behind my last name than you do in front"
You are right- the word "asshole" after your name is a lot of letters.
"Universities have been infested with the back-patting, paper genius of Liberal mindlessness for decades now; coincidently"
Yes I've heard this conspiracy theory. Can you cite some figures? Being a diverse crowd of people they come in all flavors. Something like this would require a study, date collection, and actual work...all things conservatives who make conspiracy theory seem to have a "problem" with.
@hipstermi , the quality of education has been shrinking at a parallel rate. This biased corruption must be uprooted from the ground up immediately. My guess is that you work in the education field (or at least I will guarantee that your paycheck comes from the Government). This is precisely why I pay thousands of dollars in taxes that finance public schools, while simultaneously fronting an extra $12,000 a year to send my kids to a private Catholic grade school!
@hipstermi It’s also why I’m less and less impressed with the 4.0, 1st tier graduates who send me their resumes on a daily basis. Memorizing lines and reciting them verbatim is a human skill that has been made obsolete by the invention of the computer. But then maybe not; maybe you’re just some washed up drunken hack working at Arby’s and reminiscing about his Glory Days when he got a 1,600 on the SATs. I don’t know and I don’t care.
@hipstermi The fact is that you have the words ‘defeated, failure’ written all over you; which is precisely why you are such an avid; and oh so typical, angry Liberal who will never amount to anything meaningful (we should all share in your misery or else be blamed for it). You do Blacks, Gays and every other minority group a calamatively of a disservice with your Leftist ways. You pander to the insanity of the revolving-door of excused-irresponsibility.
"The fact is that you have the words ‘defeated, failure’ written all over you;"
It's funny...when conservatives get angry like this, they tend to go for "self declared victory".
If your bullshit religion is so "true" you woulndt be conservative angry about this. You'd let it go. Not only that you are FAILING the whole "turn the other cheek" with this angry ape like behavior of yours.
"You do Blacks, Gays and every other minority group a calamatively of a disservice with your Leftist ways"
As opposed to what- your bullshit church who wants to treat gays like second class citizens? Your asshole conservatism who can only see "reverse" racism (cause you guys bitch that middle age white guys have it so tough)
"You pander to the insanity of the revolving-door of excused-irresponsibility. "
YOU as a Catholic and an asshole "blamed" gays on your ass raping priests.
@hipstermi You provide nothing more than temporary relief to their short-term wants while completely undermining their desperate, long term needs! Worse off; you do so strictly for your own selfish egotistical gratification of fitting in and feeling appreciated by the ‘cool’ people (something you could never do with your 3,2,1,0-personality). And of course you bash anyone who doesn’t’ follow suit; despite the logic and genuine moral-basis of their protest.
@hipstermi . You and your type are an American sickness and a Global disease that will either suffocate righteous individual freedom or be cured by it! You and I are at war; and from this debate to the National debate; you are, and will continue to lose! Yes, I am a Catholic, and yes, Magic Jesus did tell me to Love My Enemy. But Love my enemy is not the same as Have no Enemy. So, with love and prayers; go fuck yourself!
"You and your type are an American sickness and a Global disease that will either suffocate righteous individual freedom or be cured by it"
Nothing I did or said violated your religious freedom. You crybabies can't stand when someone makes fun of your invisible magical beliefs. AGAIN- this is not Jesus Land.
"Yes, I am a Catholic"
Child molester church. Nazi appeasers. Inquisition.that's some great history
"go fuck yourself!"
Typical Christian, cant live his bullshit beliefs.
@hipstermi Well, in any event; if you have time, I would like to close this debate by asking you a few questions; not so much to argue; but for my own ‘mental storage cabinet.’ Note: I am not ‘christen lying,’ or trying to put words in your mouth; these are generic questions not originally meant for you; but any in-sight would be appreciated (if you have any further questions from me; feel free to ask, otherwise, I will not be replying):
@hipstermi 1. If the American, free Capitalist model is so flawed and unjust, what country has it right? What model of civilization, in history, came closest to your standard of acceptability? 2. If there is no God, if Man is not divine; why do you seem to pass moral judgments? I mean, from [Nazis to Pedophiles to Racist-schools to History’s Not-so Christan-Christans]; you seem to have a moral opinion; why?
@hipstermi ? In a random Universe governed solely by natural law; none of these groups should be considered wrong, let alone ‘evil.’ They are simply jocking for position in the soup of ‘survival of the fittest,’ just like the rest of us; right? You’re not a [Jew], you’re not a [child], and you’re not [Black]; why waste your time defending these groups; what’s it to you? And in this same environment; I’d think you would enjoy living under the protection
@hipstermi of the most powerful country/military in the world? In a more personal sense; I think you would enjoy living in a Country that allowed you to arm yourself; yet my guess is that you don’t. Why? 3. You seem to place a lot of emphasis on education, learning and academic growth. In a sense; people who do this are trying to ‘unlock’ the mysteries and laws of an intelligent, complicated but solvable design—one that would virtually have to be built by
@hipstermi an intelligent creator (if we put a bunch of plastic, metal and rubber into a tin can and shook it up; the chances of producing a ’64 Mustang Convertible would be right up there with meeting a telekinetic Mermaid next week; and banging her!). In other words; why do you consider intelligent design to be so preposterous when we, in-effect, are living proof of it (aka:
@hipstermi As an academic; you’re spending an awful lot of time trying to understand something that you’ve already convinced yourself, has no understanding? And, 4. If you are, in fact, not an Atheist but a Pragmatist who is searching for God, but just not convinced that any established religion has found him…Where do you suggest we look? What event or message would you have to discover to know you found him? What would you do once you did find him?
@hipstermi Quick story: Last summer; a co-work and I decided that we were going to get back into shape. We were going to eat right, hit the gym, quit drinking/smoking…whatever it took. The first thing my friend did was he set up several interviews with some of the best trainers in town. After picking the best one; he hit the Library and bought a trunk full of books on nutrition and fitness.
@hipstermi The guy had so many notes, spreadsheets and daily planners laying around his desk, you could barely his $200 calorie counter. Then, this asshole went on a $1,000 shopping spree at a Sporting Goods store and picked up the best shoes, the best cloths, the best everything! I’m telling you the guy had a leather body-belt that matched his wrist straps! Finally, by month 3, he was finally ready to get started. The only problem was...
@hipstermi lines like that are about as effective as: ‘I’m not stupid; you are!’ “You didn’t answer my question about George Bush at Bob Jones University.” Sure I did; again, you Liberals only hear what you want to hear. I disagree with the school’s actions; but what do you expect me to do about it? I, the President nor the Universal body of Christianity has any authority to tangibly sanction an independent school, no matter what religious affiliations they claim. It’s a free country!
@hipstermi Take you for example, you claim to be an American, but you hate everything she stands for. I may disagree, but I have no right to force you to change your ways. Nazi Germany hosted the 1936 Olympics; and yet George Bush attended the games in Beijing without saying one word about it. Is that another example of a Republican supporting a racist institution? You want to talk about Secular University racial blunders; let’s open the discussion to the Duke Lacrosse Rape Scandal
"You want to talk about Secular University racial blunders; let’s open the discussion to the Duke Lacrosse Rape Scandal"
You are just a copy paste drone from Rush Limbaugh. Maybe i you didnt throw up 10 billion conservative rants with no cohessive order you might make sense.
You don't seem very "American" to me. Your kind fantasizes about making this "Jesus Land" and everyone conforming to one set way. Your anti intellectual, bash education, state employees, etc.
@hipstermi (the school crucified its own students before a single fact came out). And yet, Obama visited that school twice. I didn’t hear Liberal’s calling for the Executive boycott of Duke University because of past racial mis-judgments (nor should I have), and that was only 3 years ago! “I explained and proved how similar the GOP is to the Nazis and cited EXAMPLES (abortion, anti union, hate gay policy, religious loons).” Abortion: Abortion is Legal mass genocide;
@hipstermi ; kind of like Nazi death camps—that’s on you. Unions: Our ‘outdated,’ Religious, and ultra-Conservative forefather gave us the 1st amendment; which included the Right to Assembly—Hitler?...not so much a fan of non-Nazi Pow-Wows! A Union has every right to exist; as does a business. Quarles between the Union and the business are settled though the channels of a dynamic and free market. As a Conservative
No...German was a Christian nation. Hitler was a Christian. Your pope had dealings with him and celibrated his birthday. It's on you.
I can pull tons of quotes proving Hitler's Christianity or his appeasing of Christians...and I bet the quotes you would use to couter would come from "Hitler's Table Talks" cause thats all Christians know- one book of second hand accounts.
@hipstermi we play no favorites. If the demands of the Union Members is met by the Business, good for the Union Members. If the functionality of the business can continue without meeting the demands (or continued employment) of the Union members; good for the Business. “Gays.” You like quotes, right? Take this one down: “Conservatives don’t hate gays.” If gays, or any other 2%-minority group; say Professional Athletes, wanted to change the definition of a fundamental
@hipstermi civil intuitions (the most important civil institution); I’d fight them too; but I’d still watch footfall! And ‘Religious Loons.’ With 98% of the World’s population believing that there is a God, that man is divine and that we do have a purpose in the Universe higher than saving the Prairie-Bush Clover plant and pleasuring ourselves at heart’s content; who’s the real fringe, outside radical, nut-bag here!? “Christians appose science and reason.”
@hipstermi Are we going in circles here? 3,500 of the Best Universities in the World (founded Harvard, Yale and Cambridge); 5,000 of the Best Research Hospitals in the World; 2,000 years of some of the greatest minds, thinkers, philosophers and scientist in the World. The oldest, largest, most extensive and comprehensive library in the World…did someone tell you Atheist Liberal-fucks that you were the smart ones or are we just expected to swallow that bullshit-nonsense at face value
@hipstermi (for a later argument: SAT Scores, GPAs and College Degrees are a means to an end; you Liberals have a curious knack for thinking oppositely—you have to do something beneficial in the real world before a Conservative praises you glory—to be continued). “Interracial marriage, like gay marriage slowly gained more acceptance overseas, in certain states, and as usual, the conservative/ southern states held on to this. Sound familiar? Ya, its sounds familiar;
@hipstermi isn’t that how AIDS originally circumvented the globe? Whatever decisions other Leftist-Nations make on Gay Marriage is totally irrelevant. This country didn’t distinguish itself above and beyond the Global pack because we followed every trendy, pop-culture, cheese-dick fad of the week that slapped itself on our lap from across the Atlantic (I swear, next year you’ll be pushing for Pedophile rights)!
"isn’t that how AIDS originally circumvented the globe"
Lots of ways AIDS circumvented...you conservatives seem to like whores a lot as well.
"Global pack because we followed every trendy, pop-culture, cheese-dick fad of the week"
Yes, because we have to debate conservative Christians, and lag in women voting, ending slavery, blacks voting, civil rights, ERA, and many more. And ALWAYS the fucking religious hick south lagging the most.
"I swear, next year you’ll be pushing for Pedophile rights)! "
Your Christian lying again- so fuck you, and your Mary fetish church, ok?
And you as a Catholic? You GIVE MONEY to a pedophile org. And dont say "not priests, gay men" cause your priests ass raped little girls as well....and every week you given them MORE MONEY. A real man opposed to this kind of crime would have left that church.
@hipstermi Yes, Gay Marriage is becoming more and more accepted in Europe. So is Radical Islam! Europe is not exactly the shinning beckon of prosperity, culture, growth and morality that it used to be (perhaps we can talk about it further in a Dutch, government-subsidized Hashish bar right before we get some state-licensed transvestite prostitutes). Are you kidding me!? Without the ‘Good-o’l US of A’ in the mix; these countries would be so deep in Weinersnitzel and Falafel,
"Gay Marriage is becoming more and more accepted in Europe"
Don't think I limited to "Europe" I said world. South Africa, Canada, Mexico City, Argentina are not "Europe" dumbass. And let's not forget those AMERICAN states.
"Radical Islam"
No need to get all Glenn Beck with your unreated tangents.
Canada- nothing bad happened as a result of gay marriage! Magical Jeebuz didn't even destroy them.
@hipstermi , a Jew would catch on fire even uttering the word “Europe !” But you are right; they can only curse the Sun they bask in for so long; their clock of relevancy is ticking exponentially faster. “You never addressed this: ALL the arguments conservatives use against gay marriage? ALL were used against interracial marriage.” I hope you are seeing the challenge of interpreting your awful writing ability here.
@hipstermi To deny a couple the right to marry because of the color of their skin is racist and wrong. There is no physcologial or physiological difference between the races. However, to deny a couple the right to marry because of their gender is absolutely appropriate! There are massive physcological physiological differences between a man and a woman; components that are vitally necessary for child-rearing, both horizontally
"to deny a couple the right to marry because of their gender is absolutely appropriate! There are massive physcological physiological differences between a man and a woman"
The conservative Christians who opposed interracial marriage said the SAME THING about blacks...and now we look back at those people and say "bigot" that's how your grandkids will think of you.
@hipstermi (in terms of the current population as a whole) and vertically (in term of past and future generations). “And you still haven't admitted this is really about your religion.” Exactly. I’m crushing you on sound reason alone! I haven’t pushed one religious theory/concept your way. In other words; I’m beating you with one hand tied behind my back. “Hold on a second...you are being conservative deceptive again. This was not "an obscure Baptist.
"“And you still haven't admitted this is really about your religion.” Exactly. I’m crushing you on sound reason alone"
You haven't cited ONE logical reason. something about "votes" which implies popularity...that's not how civil rights work. This is how we beat conservative christians who opposed interracial marriage.
"I’m beating you with one hand tied "
ANgry posts that have no logical baring, no sense of history, and no nothing of law is not "beating" plus you christian lied.
@hipstermi University" it was a major Christian school.” Bob Jones University? Bob F-ing Jones University!? Are you joking; a ‘Major School?’ Now who’s stretching. Its full name is Bob Jones University and Muffler Shop! Yes, you got me; it’s not a Baptist school, it’s a generic ‘Christian’ school (…the store brand of religions!). My bad! “Why do Catholics tell poor women they can't use birth control?” I didn’t know Rome singled out poor women? “Did God inspire the people
Outside of debating Bob Jones...why did you avoid the other points?
You know...how the conservative Christian state of SC had to be federally FORCED to admit black students into no religious schools? The south is generally the more Christian parts of the union...ever notice how they are usually the ones who fights any civil rights change- women's rights, race, inter racial marriage?
True to form...history will judge them as bigots over gay marriage.
@hipstermi who invented condoms?” I didn’t know Rome said that every human action was inspired by God?” “Woman’s suffrage.” I didn’t know that Rome was against woman’s suffrage? “You REALLY think it's logical or even Biblical to ask ANY man to be celibate?” Yes. Let’s take you for example; you haven’t been laid since the days of the Rotary Phone; and you’re still around, aren’t you! What do you mean by ‘Logical?’ Look Captain Spock, is it Logical for a fat man to go on a diet?
@hipstermi Is it logical to quit smoking? Humans can make all sorts of sacrifices for a higher purpose (that ability is actually what separates us from the fuzzy/fluffy forest animals you love so much). Biblical? Again, how do you mean? I’m a Catholic. This may come as a shock to you but my church is not ‘rooted’ in the bible; quite the opposite in fact. It’s pretty common knowledge, even among Secularists, that the Holy Catholic Apostolic church did not spring up from Bible verses
@hipstermi we’re the bastards who wrote those (hundreds of years after Christ died)! Priestly Celibacy is an order from Rome, as was the installments of books that make up the New Testament today. “Child rape in the Catholic Church.” And here I thought you were a champion of gay people! Priests do not molest children, gay men who infiltrate the church in order to avoid telling mom and dad why they never got married do. The ‘cover up’ was a mistake, a bad mistake and for that I
"Priestly Celibacy is an order from Rome, as was the installments of books that make up the New Testament today"
Yes...you guys believe anything "from Rome" even over your Bible. Oh that's right...you guys teach the Pope is over the Bible. Must save you guys from thiking for yourself to have a demigod on earth, huh?
On top of that...why would I listed to a celibate man about advice on being a husband or a father if he's neither?
@hipstermi am critical, angered and apologetic. However, this is a Global church made of free, imperfect Human Beings. Unlike your claims of what our claims are; we are not micro-managed by the divine and direct directives of God. Decisions and actions are ours and ours alone; just like any other institution (I will do my minuscule part to condemn this behavior and ensure it does not continue or happen again). Why am I still a Catholic? For the same reason I still buy stamps
@mdstalla Let's go back to your sick religion Catholic: - takes in so much money and gold encrusts the pope like he's a god. - Crusades- killing in your church's name - opposed science of Galileo and put him on trial - sexist - tell women NO BIRTH CONTROL, even when married. so they remain baby machines - rapists priests & lots of them - Produced...Hitler - Pope celibrated Hitler's birthday! Annually - Hitler never excommunicated from church - Pope had dealings with Hitler shall i go on?
@hipstermi Did you know mail men, as an occupation, have the high number of men fired for sex-related charges (think about that next time you pick up your mail). “Malcolm X quotes on ‘pulling out the knife.” Was their some kind of foot note that I missed were he dismissed White, secular Liberal assholes as well? Nice to see that you’re perfectly comfortable aligning/rationalizing yourself with only the most extreme divisonists of Islam.
The most surprising thing here is that there are actually people out there who support and believe the shit that comes out of O'Reilly's face. How stupid does one have to be to believe the blatant lies that the douchebag spews every time he opens his dirty mouth!?

Funny how in this video a lot of comments are about gays. This is a political discussion, what does being gay h ave anything to do with it? Does that mean he isn't allowed to have an opinion? I thought society hates that kind of stuff when it happens to women or blacks for example, but I guess its okay to do it to gays.
As for Bill O'Reilly. That dude seems to be the real fag in this discussion. Insulting someone because of a different opinion on political stance is just childish.

Hahaha Bill is such a tool. he always cracks me up.

He is not rationalizing the motives behind them. he is stating, factually, that the CIA under bush senior trained the people behind his fathers death. Trained them, in fact, to overthrow a democracy.
lazarouslive 10 months ago
Father or not. This guys rationalizing the motives behind mass murderers just enough to place the blame right back on America's lap. It's a sad day when this country has two political parties, one that wants to advance the nation and another that hates the nation. The time for talk with you people is ticking. You have no oath registered in heaven to destroy the country; while we shall have the most solemn one to "preserve, protect, and defend it."

"You have no oath registered in heaven to destroy the country; while we shall have the most solemn one to "preserve, protect, and defend it."
I dunno...our American Christians seem to get off on doomsday scenarios. Hagee seemed to urge a nuclear strike all for magical jesus.
this is why religion and government (not to mention rational thought) do not mix.
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi Yes, Government, the shinning beacon of rational thinking!? Funny; I always thought that Atheist Dictators did most of the killing in the World? I mean, Last I checked; Hitler, Stalin and Kim Il Jong weren’t exactly bible-thumpers, were they? I guess they tend to brush over those kinds of glaring facts on MSNC and Comedy Central. BTW: The quote I gave came from Lincoln. Author of other great God-Centered Government speeches like the Gettysburg Address and his 2nd Inaugural.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Also Hitler was a Christian, backed by a Christian nation (you know...the German people) and cited Christianity in his speeches + Mein Kampf.
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi If one man looks different from another, thinks different, has more money; or has ‘judgmental’ moral beliefs; all these things will lead to conflict and eventually War (that is why you consider people like me to be Radical, Racist, Greedy Religious Fanatics. It’s also why you, the prick in this video, Hitler, Stalin and Kim Il Jong hate America and the unique individual liberties she promotes). An no; this rant was not one of Hitler's Table Talk Discussion points. But this is:

mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
I knew it...another brainless conservative who has read ONE BOOK. Your quote is from "Hitler's Table Talk"
That is a collection of SECOND HAND accounts. The scores of quotes I can bring are public speeches.
On top of that it's been called a BAD TRANSLATION. It was taken from French to English...not German to English and was highly criticized.
Google Richard Carrier "On the Trail of Bogus Quotes" before you reply
Did you even know any of this?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
You do know all those people who followed him- military, SS, guards, over operators- that German people were.........CHRISTIANS?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Hitler, Mein Kampf
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Hitler, Munich 4-12-22
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Proves you wrong, huh?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi First: Thanks for the interpretation of Hitler’s Table Talks; I get Wikilopidia too. Hitler never formally published any writings about his relationship with Ava Brown; so I guess, according to you; they weren’t screwing, right? Second: The God of the Jews and the God of Christians are one in the same—the God of Abraham. As a matter of fact, Christians are Jews; the Jews of the New Covenant. Jesus himself was a Jew.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Because you guys can only pull ONE BOOK for this argument?
magic magic magic...dont you feel like a child?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"Hitler never formally published any writings about his relationship with Ava Brown; so I guess, according to you; they weren’t screwing, right"
That's a Christian lie on your part. I never said anything like that.
You seem unaware we have many photos and films of them together not to mention a signed marriage certificate.
So why didn't you address any of my Pro Christian Hitler quotes? Need to consult your "pastor" to tell you what to think?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"Second: The God of the Jews and the God of Christians are one in the same—the God of Abraham."
Funny how the Jews tell me YOU got the Messiah wrong.
"As a matter of fact, Christians are Jews; the Jews of the New Covenant"
A. a Jew would laugh in your face
B. Your magical religion has quite the history of persecuting them, huh?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi I don’t know if you noticed; but Hitler wasn’t exactly a fan of ‘the chosen people;’ and Christians were no exception. Pope John Paul II is still being considered for Canonization, partially because of his work under Nazi occupied Poland when he illegally, at the punishment of death, secretly became ordained a priest and helped others do the same.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@hipstermi . You can quote Hitler all day with lines that support your argument and insist I leave out any lines that counter your argument; but factually, you’re standing on weak ground: Don’t you find it compellingly odd that an outspoken Christian would set, as his prime objective, the extermination of his own kind (or are you suggesting that Hitler committed suicide for precisely for this reason)?
mdstalla 9 months ago
@hipstermi No, I think the overwhelming evidence supports the idea that Hitler and all of his henchmen had more in common with your Atheist beliefs of ‘one homogeneous people and one collective thought with no religions disintegration;’ enforced by the intellectual ‘better judgment’ of an all powerful central state.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"No, I think"
Thats your problem..."you think". Christians aren't known for research, so you just swallowed what was taught to you.
"overwhelming evidence supports the idea that Hitler and all of his henchmen had more in common with your Atheist beliefs"
You didnt reply to ANY of the quotes I provided you. You didnt admit to your ignorance concerning "Hitler's Table Talk".
Funny how I can cite all sorts of proof to my point and the best you have is "I think"
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Proves you wrong, huh?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
HItler, Berlin, 10-24-33
and MANY MORE
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla Finally; Hitler’s Modus Operandi was to make contradicting statements and flat out lie (yes, in writing) to win the trust of his enemies just before he annihilated them. Remember Nevil Chamberlin’s ‘Peace in Our Time’ declaration while he held a signed contract from Hitler promising to discontinue hostiles? Or how about the Nazi-Soviet Non Aggression Pact signed within a year of Hitler invading Russia? You’re quoting a habitual fraud and liar and taking him at his word.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"You’re quoting a habitual fraud and liar and taking him at his word"
So let me get this straight...you, a "Christ"ian are telling me Hitler lied (I agree) and therefore any pro Christian statement must have been a lie.
With that same logic...why can't any Hitler Atheist statement be considered a lie if Hitler did say it (and Hitlers Table Talks is rather sketchy on that)
Seems like you are giving your team all the advantages, huh?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
qustions:
1. if Hitler "lied" about his Christian beliefs, despite the many quotes, the pictures, the crosses on medals...why did he cite a CHRISTIAN...Martin Luther? You know the guy who wrote "On the Jews and Their Lies"?
2. Curious if you also have an excuse for Martin Luther?
3. Even if you excuse Hitler...what about his followers? SS, Gestapo, Wehrmacht, guards, officers, experimental DRs, oven operators, etc...Germany was a "Christian Nation" at the time, yes?
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi To answer your questions: 1. why didn't I site "Hitler's Table Talks"? I did. Re-read the last sentence of the comment before my quote: “And no; this rant was not one of Hitler's Table Talk Discussion points. BUT THIS IS: [followed by my quote]. Perhaps we should reexamine your suggestion on improving comprehension skills. 2. Why do all Christian’s use Table Talk Quotes?

@mdstalla
"why didn't I site "Hitler's Table Talks"? I did."
Wrong.
The post I replied to you did NOT identify the source. The entire post is" "National Socialism and religion cannot exist together. The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. " --Adolf Hitler, July: 1941."
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
Be sad if all those GIs died for his superstitious conservative beliefs...
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla

You are attacking a man you probably know nothing about...isn't that "bearing false witness"?
and no I dont "hate" Christians. I ask for proof to outlandish claims, same as if you told me you "knew" Bigfoot or Goblins were "real".
On top of that...Hitlers Table Talks was SECOND HAND ACCOUNTS.

Cherry pick? I reject ONE BOOK. You cite...ONE BOOK of seond hand accounts written/ translated in the early 50s. Seems like you picked the one that fit your Christian mindset to give German, a CHRISTIAN NATION with CHRISTIAN PEOPLE... a pass.

"hey Seth...they learning on their own...get em! yuck yuck yuck"
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla

I see...instead of addressing ANY of his points, you just resort to angry ad hominum attacks.
"What, haven’t you got around to Janeane Garofalo’s"
Does Garofalo have advanced degrees in history? Does she speak/read GERMAN (you know...the language in question on Hitler's Table Talk). Do you?
Why didn't you even address any of his points?
Also...you seem rather Christian angry about this.
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
5. German people/christians who went along

As far as I know, Carrier is not a "professor"
And anyway...would you rather he came from a >snicker< Bible college? Cause those guys are so well known for keen research!
And you "know more" I suppose?
You Christians pull this when you try/fail to debate science and medical professionals about homosexuality.
I call it the "guy on internet" comeback.

Yes you have SOME Christians.
Yet you had:
Pope Pious institute the tradition of celebrating Hitler's birthday
Archbishop Cesare Orsenigo met Hitler at the papal nuncio in Berlin to kick this off.
(cont)
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
More Hitler/ Christian palling arounds:
That Pope install Hitler birthday tradition? Cardinal Bertram of Berlin was to send "warmest congratulations to the Fuhrer in the name of the bishops and the dioceses in Germany" and added with "fervent prayers which the Catholics of Germany are sending to heaven on their altars."
The Goring (President of the Reichstag) Wedding photo shows Hitler as best man...in a church.

More Christian/ Nazi "fun"
The History channel showed the video showing a Nazi Oath. Translated:
"I swear by God,
this holy oath,
to the Führer of the German Reich and people.
Adolf Hitler..."
Hitler wrote the forward to a book about the Brown Army...which showed photos of them attending church services.
The Nazis had plenty of Chaplins...all wearing crosses.
There's a photo of Joseph Goebbels & Wilhelm Frick next to TWO Catholic Bishops giving the Nazi salute in honor of Hitler

I did, both ways.

In answer to that charge I should like to make before the German people the following solemn declaration: No one in Germany has in the past been persecuted because of his religious views, nor will anyone in the future be so persecuted." -Hitler, speech in the Reichstag on 01/30/1939.

hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"The Hitler you wish to believe"
You Christian lied and can't know what I believe. But I noticed you "forgot" to address my points. Let's start with a simple few: if Hitler was "not a Christian" why did Pope Pious institute the tradition of celebrating Hitler's BIRTHDAY every year?
Why did the Catholic church NOT excommunicate Hitler...ever?
BONUS question: why did southern Christian schools have to be forced to admit black students decades after other states?

hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi It always struck me as odd that the ‘defenders’ of ‘non-judgementalism’ and ‘non-labeling of entire groups of people’ freely use terms like “Racist Southerners,” and “Radical Christians” in their everyday talk. Look, any group that felt that Interracial Marriage should have been outlawed 150 years ago is as misguided as those that push for the legalization of Same Sex Marriage today.
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"Look, any group that felt that Interracial Marriage should have been outlawed 150 years ago is as misguided as those that push for the legalization of Same Sex Marriage today."
CONSERVATIVES of today will be remembered like we remember those who opposed interracial marriage. Interracial marriage, like gay marriage slowly gained more acceptance overseas, in certain states, and as usual, the conservative/ southern states held on to this. sound familiar?
you are losing
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla
You never did address this:
ALL the arguments conservatives use against gay marriage? ALL were used against interracial marriage.
state law, "redefine marriage', not a right, "god says", tradition, etc.
ALL were used by who we known think of as misguided and in some cases flat out bigots. That's the legacy you follow.
And you still haven't admitted this is really about your religion. Not a theocracy, and not Jesus Land.
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi I don’t disagree with you one bit. But to say that this was a Christian movement, is a bit; shall I say, bigoted. If a left handed guy steals your car; in your view; all left handed guys must be thieves. If some obscure Baptist University didn’t allow black students into their school 30 years ago, do I owe you an apology because I’m a Catholic? And another thing (and this goes back to my earlier point about Liberals insisting on a spotless, ivory-white past);
mdstalla 9 months ago

- why did Catholics oppose women voting?
- how can you be part of that when they COVERED UP priests raping boys?
You should have left that shameful church long ago.

The Catholic church- I dont see how you can be part of it. You should have left that church for another. Not only did the guilty go free, leadership, including the Vatican AND your current demigod/ rockstar Pope .... REASSIGNED these rapists to prey on other kids.
And you continue to support and give money to this org.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

@hipstermi ); if White Southern (or all American Whites for that matter) behaved poorly in the past; do they not get credit for changing their ways? I agree on improvements, but I also agree with an old Malcolm X quote:
"If you stick a knife nine inches into my back and pull it out three inches, that is not progress. Even if you pull it all the way out, that is not progress. Progress is healing the wound, and America hasn't even begun to pull out the knife."
(to be fair X- fucked up religion, & also wrong on opposing interracial marriage)
hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi But the same “one bad—all bad--forever bad” attitude you have for White Christians seems to disappear entirely for Blacks. As a culture, they’re not exactly doing so hot are they? Prison rates, drug use, fatherless children, welfare, crime…you’d think Liberals would take issue with this? Oh, no, not a freaking peep! They’ll either deny it, minimize it or throw it back on us and say it’s White Christan Conservatives fault!
mdstalla 9 months ago
@mdstalla
"Prison rates, drug use, fatherless children, welfare, crime…you’d think Liberals would take issue with this?"
Actually...they do. I seem to recall even Jesse Jackson admonishing black people for the fatherless kids.
As to welfare- do you guys really want to take away all help for single moms? How will that help?
But many liberals say welfare need REFORM
Drug use seems to happen in all races (i think war on drugs especially pot is bullshit)
hipstermi 9 months ago
@mdstalla

@hipstermi South didn’t just disappear, they are still among us. I submit to you, however, that they haven’t changed their views towards Blacks; they’ve only changed their method of repressing them (a quite clever masquerade if you ask me). mdstalla 9 months ago
This ‘slave to master’ relationship continues today in the form of Black votes for Liberal-sponsored entitlement handouts.

hipstermi 9 months ago
@hipstermi , the quality of education has been shrinking at a parallel rate. This biased corruption must be uprooted from the ground up immediately. My guess is that you work in the education field (or at least I will guarantee that your paycheck comes from the Government).

Totally liberal. It's not selfish or condescending like most conservatives.
It's a lot more articulate than anything Bush or Palin would come up with.
I do admit, a lot of conservatives make patriotic SPEECHES...but the actions...well those are another matter entirely.

@hipstermi lines like that are about as effective as: ‘I’m not stupid; you are!’ “You didn’t answer my question about George Bush at Bob Jones University.” Sure I did; again, you Liberals only hear what you want to hear.
