One, Hideo practically begged for Snake in Brawl. Two, Metal Gear Solid VR, Metal Gear Solid Integral, Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence, and Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes. Every Metal Gear Solid game had a remake onto another system except the PSP ones. So their is still a change.

Hell I'll be happy if they put it on the PS2. I just want to play it.

Its almost expected to happen. While the PS3 may be popular it isn't exactly the most wanted system. So much so that there are even PS2 fans (like myself) who are reluctant to get one. For me, getting a PS3 is like buying Vista for DirectX 10 just to play Crysis. Don't want to waste my money on something like that if I'm only going to play one or two games on it. I'm content with my PS2, Xbox, GC, N64, and Wii. If I'll get any next gen system next it'll be the 360. But to each their own.
