If you're right footed, the most difficult kicks can be those that are slightly to the right of the goal posts. There is more pressure because you are expected to nail them, though if you generate a little fade or hook, the ball can pull infront of the posts (like Covell's 2 misses - though he was a lefty kicking from the left)

Perhaps if they spent a bit more time working on their core skills like passing and kicking these sort of fuck ups would not nearly be as common as they are in league.

Instead they spend all their time in the gym because that's all that's required for league.

@Roarlover34 I played for just under 10 years. While it was quite enjoyable, there were plenty of things that annoyed me. I have strong opinions on professional soccer around player's attitudes. In very short, if some put more focus on trying to put the ball into the net rather than producing theatrics, there might be a few more goals.

Plus the Stacey Jones one really wasn't that bad as it hit the upright. It wasn't great, but it didn't suck.
