My point was that the stories all agree that there was a great flood, that part is corroborating evidence the disagree however on the details, we cannot throw out what is agreed upon based on the fact that the details disagree. If we were to throw away a story with this many different accounts, we would have to throw away most of ancient history.

But the fact of the matter is that Dawkins, and most scientists, haven't even SEEN or HANDLED all of the fossils that have been collected worldwide. Especially the ones that are rotting in museum basements. The ones that don't fit. They go by what has been previously reported by other scientists. This isn't real science.
