I know cover bands that have been on the road for 20 years. I'm talking about success at the level of Rush, Maiden, Priest, etc. I know Dream Theater has money and a lot of people know who they are, but most of the bands who are making millions right now and are much more popular can't even comprehend playing a Dream Theater song.

In other words, they're not underated as musicians...they're underpaid and underacclaimed as a band.

These are one of the best bands tha played a download. I so cant wait to see them in Manchester and Blackburn too! One of my most favourite bands ever! Made me giggle on the NME website when they were commenting on the DD stage and a) called them dream theatre and b) commented on "john myung's silly soloing". Stupid! unny nw theyve changed it now aswell haha

to be fair mike portnoy said on the new dvd that james was averaging six takes per line at the end of in the presence of enemies pt.2 he doesn't sound half bad at all in this performance, whereas in the live album once in a livetime, he sounds absolutely attrocious, the one saving grace of that album being DTs covering of lynyrd skynards solo from freebird in the middle of take the time which as you can imagine is fantastic.
