I have never tried that tuning and want to learn this song – I have a silly question, do I tune the G, B, E DOWN to AAD or UP? May be a silly question, but like I said, I have never done that.

How do you know or figure out that there are different tunings in certain tunes?

@michalo2 I don't know, I guess I never thought about it. Sometimes your ear can tell the tuning just by hearing it, other times (like this one) it takes a little bit of fiddling to stumble onto the tuning.
