i watched this last weekend, i was gullible enough to believe this was real but because of that, it made me realise the chaos that would've occured to society watching it when it first came out :( RIP the man who took this programme the wrong way

the ghost haunting the 2 sisters is not the scary part , it s whoever is holding that camera with some zooms and shakes, and doenst help the 2 little girls out that s freaky !

I can see why people thought this was real, the BBC used all of the typical people that you would expect to see in a cheesy ghost hunt, the annoying on-location reporter, the blonde who makes the cheesy jokes, the man in the studio who has that "why am I taking this so seriously" expression on and the tall person who walks about the phones. and the title music. and the logo. although the stereo is kind of a give away that it isn't recorded live.

@animationdude56 I caught it just after the opening credits, never thought to look in the Radio Times, so I thought it was real, until the news the following day. It's amazing how many people were fooled by it.

Ha! I remember watching this when i was a kid and thinking it was real, but now watching back it's so unconvincing. Also just noticed that the "doctor" that parky interviews is in fact the very talented Gillian Bevan, who played the mad head mistress in Teachers on channel 4.
