guest spot for dwight yoakam on the old or 1st letterman show on nbc that set and band was used until letterman got pissed at being passed over to inheirit the tonight show from johnny carson and left nbc and went to cbs to play at the ed sullivan theater instead of being under one roof at 30 rock

One of my best COUNTRY singers, I really love D.Y. Alot of people don't know that he came out in the movie, "Slingblade". Oh yeah, also in the HBO movie of, "When Trumpets Fade". He really is a great actor. In "Slingblade", he played a real scumbag. There was a part in the movie that was really violent and he played the part like he really belonged. Of course not, but it realy seemed like a hidden camera was there at the time of the anncident, those who have seen the movie-I know would agree.
