@teddybear4ever336 storm chasing is very dangerous and tricky. if they are seriously injured by a tornado then they are lucky they aren't dead. thats probably an f1 maybe an f2 tornado which would toss their vehicle and would definitely toss them if they were outside of the vehicle. not to mention the flying metal debris traveling at around 80-100 miles an hour. if you're storm chasing there is very little room for error

As a professional storm chaser I would like to say that these guys where lucky that the storm motion kept the storm away from them. This usually doesn't happen and this should NEVER be done. Yes the video is impressive but the risk is to great.

I mean, no one with common sense would just drive into god's wrath because he's fascinated about it. With devices like weather radar they're able to see how a cell/the tornado moves, so they can measure up the risks.

We actually had one go through about mile or 2 from home last week it took a roof off one house and stopped the passenger train after trees came down. I was meant to be on tat train the following morning as a conductor bur because it got damaged I didnt have go to work and my parents car got severly damaged. @Teigokane Technically you are risking your life being so close to a storm. There's always the possibility that the storm will do something you don't expect and you'll be in deep trouble. You'd understand that if you lived in an area with high tornado frequency. You're never completely safe during one. Trust me, lived through my share of them, some as a chaser. There's always that possibility.
