  • Hello there....As a Muslim, we believe that the Bible which is present today has been changed through time, it's not the same as it was during the time of Jesus (PBUH). God can not die because who would resurrect the dead, who would manege everything then? If God wouldn't be present just for a slightest moment, we would all die and are existence is because of God. Jesus can not be God due to many reasons, there are some good videos on it: search in youtube: why Jesus is not God. T

  • Asalamoo Alaekum Neil,

I so appreciate that you are open to learning about Muslims and creating an inter-faith bridge, It is really very touching.

  • @Aws8819, God wants us to be with him and Jesus was his word. You cannot separate God from his word, nor can you separate his word from Him. God cannot lie because he IS truth! So if God is fair how can he remove one man's sins but not another? How can he forgive one person but not another? He's forgiven all sins, he's removed them all, that's his gift to us through Jesus Christ, all we have to do is reach out and take it. If someone offers you a gift, it's yours as soon as you accept it.

  • Aws8819, sorry if it seems like I'm targeting you or something. If I've said anything to offend you tell me. Even in the Quran, Jesus is not like any other man. Every other prophet has sinned and died, yet Jesus has not. He is still alive according to the Bible as well. He is also not the son of God as you imagine a son. However if the God has given a child to Mary as it says also in the Quran, and Jesus is a spirit, and the one who created him is God, who then is his father?

  • Aws8819, you are very correct. God knows everything and he doesn't need to know about our sins, he knows our sins better than we do, he knows what makes us sin. He didn't come to learn but to teach and save us. This is why he didn't tell his followers to worship him, in fact he washed the feet of his disciples, he said "he who is greatest among you will be your servant." I think you would agree God wants to have a relationship of love with us, so that's what he had with his disciples.

  • Aws8819, hello friend. I want to discuss your answer, of how it is impossible for God to die. I agree with this, but God is spirit, as is Jesus, his physical body was killed but his spirit was not. Every one of us is an eternal being, the differences are where we will spend that eternity. All of our bodies will die yet we will continue living, spiritually with God.

  • Slamo alykom. (Peace be upon you) hey i just wanna say thanks for being polite in your qustions. and i would like to answer some of those questions. you asked why is it imposible that god took a human form? and died on the cross? now you see the first part is posible god can do anything he wants. but as for diying that is imposible god dos not die. and if god took a human form he would not be born like jesus was. and you said that god took a human form so he learns about human sin?... cont..

  • now i am sure you will agree with me that god knows everything so why would he need to learn about our sins? he already knows why we comit sin. he is the one who created us. if you created a car why would you turn your self into a car to learn about it. you already know how it works. you already know what it can and can't do. you already know how fast it can go. you already know how many passengers it is meant to transport. ect... cont...

  • im sorry if i made you board. but you see you created something you already know everything about it before you relese it to the world to see. so when someone asks you about it you can answer with confidence. so do you still think that god became a man so he can experice sin or learn about sin? if you answer is {No god did not become a man to learn about sin} then you should start to look deeper into your own religion and ask the reall questions...cont...

  • A few that never corsed my minde "if jesus is god why did'nt he tell his followers to worship him? and why did he worship god? dos god worshp god?". If you wanna try to answer i would be happy to hear your response. your a pleasent person and i hope you find what your looking for. i hope this will help you in a most postive way. and im sorry if i didn't answer your questions clearly. the answer is simple god knows all things and everything thier is to know about them. He is the creator..cont...

  • i wish all ppl liike him polite and to know not use asking to hide his knife god bless him

  • .................never knew how to read or write! the qurans miracles are alive to this day... the amount of scientific discoveries that were made, the quran already mentioned are quite alot... things that the prophet muhammed PBUH wuldnt hav possibly known!! there is nothin god cant do... even if he wanted to be man he wud if he wanted to... but all am askin neil... if ur lookin for the truth just research islam for a bit.... put some effort and then judge for urself :)

  • ............... came along with moses were somehow related to magic like when he split the sea, or wen he turned his staff to a snake...jesus came in a time where the practice of medicine was very popular.... so the miracles that came along with jesus was curing the diseases and even bringing back the dead BY GODS WILL.... mohammed PBUH came in a time where the practice of poetry was at its best and people were very good at philosophy... so his miracle was the quran even though he .....

  • In your video, concerning the incarnation: 5:58 "I feel it's possible" :

In Islam we don't go in empty debate to say if we feel what it can be possible or not. We have a Holy Book, we acknowledge it be the word of God by many proofs (just read Quran to see by ourself that it cannot be from human mind). Then, when God tells us that Jesus was not crucified, we believe Him. That's it.

As Muslims, we always give evidence to be sure that what we are doing is correct.

    May God guide us all.

  • i love divineloves comment that God (plz forgive me for this) was born out of a 12 yr old girl-=sounds ridiculous doesn;t it? wake up people, God=Allah is the only creator-and He has no partners.

  • thank you very much but im off my ass....arabic is a little bit tough to translate. thanx tho:)

  • where do people get the information that muhammad had sex with a 9 year old girl...can u send me a link to where u found that info out. or a scripture from the quran or the hadith or where ever u found it..

  • MuMu

    the hadiths

  • MuMu

Its in the hadiths. Try getting off your ass

  • Neil

Did you know that mohammed had sex with a child of 9 when he was 54? Or that he had sex with a woman after murdering her father and husband and selling her family. Or had a poetess a mother of 5 murdered for critising him. So the next time you want to extend the olive branch of peace to islam remember this is what muslims revere as a prophet

  • yo fatty boom boom u need to get ur facts right!!!

  • I do have my facts right it would be nice if you had some facts

  • FatBoy

How old was Mary in the Bible, when she gave birth to your God?

    Answer 12 years old

FATBOY, AS AN AUSTRALIAN, DON'T YOU FIND THAT DISGUSTING THAT GOD MADE HIS ENTRY INTO THIS WORLD FROM A FRAGILE WOMB OF A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL?

  • Can you show me where in the bible it mentions Marys age please. I would appreciate if you can show me the evidence. I find it disgusting that a 54 year old pervert had sex with a 9 year old child. But that pervert is in hell now.

  • second why islam ..

well for start why i am a muslim .. im not a coneted .. i waz born as a muslim and still one ... walhamd lilllah " thank u allah for that "

but i could have gone back from islam if i wanted ... but i didnt

for all the si. loveing ppl ... did u know that in the Qur,an

there is some stuff that humans are discovreing these days ..???

and the qur,an waz made 1400 years ago !

i am a muslim cuz i see it's tha right thin the real thin

    the only thing this's luay

    later

  • What science does the koran have like sperm coming from the backbone did mohammed have his testicles in his chest cavity.

  • well if you look at the quran and read it you'll see that it says about science...way before the scientists even discoverd it. "It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit" [36:40]

  • Absolute rubbish mohammed used science of the day to put in hte koran. Many of which is either plain as day that the sun does not overtake the moon is not real science and other like sperem coming from the backbone which is WRONG. Sorry the koran is not from God.

  • pfft u need to get ur facts right!!!

  • I do have my facts right. If not then show me where I am wrong buddy

  • Aslam Alekom ...

i am a muslim okay and im gonna try to answer ur q.s

first why allah " god " cant be human

well that's cuz human make sins

and allah is way better than human ... comeone man

u know what im sain ?

    :P

  • you said "rocks around the neck are idolatry, crosses around the neck are idolatry..

  • Hi,

Hmm where to begin lol. Well you asked why is it impossible that God took the form of Jesus. Well, the answer lies in the bible itself, Jesus never said "I am god" or "worship me". And also, the word "Christianity" does not appear in the bible, however the word "christians" appear and it describes the enemies of Jesus, the ones who wanted him crucified.

  • Neil

Before I forget, I would recommend for you to search on YouTube for ( Professor Jeffrey Lang ) & ( Youssef Estes ) if you want to get the answers for your questions.

Please understand that I don't want to show off telling you "look who's converted to our religion" .. that's no my point .. you asked for answers & these people speak in details.

May GOD show you the right path.

    Your brother

    Hany

  • lOl

Neil, thank you for making your own point so politely.

Brother, my wife is British too, she was converted 3 years ago, she was asking almost the same questions like you, I really advise you to read & research for answers, yes YouTube has some exciting videos, but the answer will come to you better from the experts, me or Ali or most of the YouTubers aren't scholars, you'll find lots of them in England who can easily answer all your questions, I hope you'll find the right path inshallah.

  • Neil, I don't know if Baba Ali has replied to you or not but generally converts to Islam tend to read the Qur'an and they cannot find any contradiction in it and the consistency of science with the revelations of the Qur'an help them realise that it is the word of God. With regards to why it isn't possible for God to be man and have a son, well the statement in itself is blasphemous. You acknowledge God is supreme, Omnipotent, Without Need - so he doesn't need a son, He created prophets to...

  • ... guide people. He (being God) doesn't need a son, all He needs to do is say 'be' and it is. Anyway I recommend you read the Qur'an to see how we view Jesus and Mary. Jesus was a prophet who was an example to the people he was sent to

  • isnt better than 1 man = 4 girlfriend ?

  • to>>Harpal08

yea we think islam is the only true religion

and you think your religion is only true...this normal..ok

about terrorists, look you r said "kosovo, middle east, india-pakistan "

these countries r living the war

What we can wait from children saw his parents kills in front of eyes

sure this children wait his self for grow up, not because his to love his life..no

but because he want grow up to retaliate against the whole of the world

  • Asalaamu Alaikum (may peace be upon you),

hey i really like the way u don't criticise islam, and the way ure trying to have peace between the two great religions. Thanx for talking so patiently and peacefully, ure a great example of how christians should react to other religions.

  • if god took human form then questions would arise such as what race was he, what did he look like etc. god is above taking human form and dieing because if he did then that'll mean that he coudl be over powered... and who can come even close the all-mighty??? If god had a son, that'll make him like hsi creation... and 'there is non like unto him'. Jesus (pbuh) didnt need to die for us to be forgiven because gods mercy exceeds his wrath. we just have to sincerely repent to eb forgiven inshallah.

  • I really enjoyed watching your video.

  • I consider myself very fortunate that God chose to make me muslim and have great respect for those who convert or anyone like yourself who seeks out the truth=God for themselves. I have no right to disrespect anyones belief or to impose. I only disrespect those who have no belief. I guess we all wish each other Gods mercy when we offer them our understanding of our religion, but the truth is the God is too mighty to be contained in any one religion and everything else points to it.

  • And yes, all things are possible with the creator, but we must also respect the fact that because he/it is the most divine, it is not becoming of him/it to stoop to our level and take physical form. We are in a physical capacity becuase we are capable of sin and have mortal needs. God is above such distractions and does not need to put himself through trial and tribulations or to die for any mortals sins.I am not saying he/it cant, i am just saying that the reason and logic escapes me.

  • Salaam A laikum bro. It was a pleasure listening to you. I am not sure if Baba Ali replied to your question, but my understanding about the reason why Islam was introduced is the fact that the Christian church altered the message of God and the tilte of its messenger Jesus Christ (PBUH)to suit their greed.fashioned after the egyptian God Horace. Otherwise God would not have sent the message again through his last messenger Hazrat Mohummad (PBUH).Those who seek God=truth, find logic in islam.

  • I think that your way of debating is amazing. It is very mature, very well put together and most important of all, RESPECTFULL. None of the usual religion bashing or personal attacks. And you started out by underlining the similarities in both religions and you respective thought processes. I want to encourage you. The whole religious world can take a lesson from you on how to better get along and talk with each other. Amen bro!

  • On the contrary, Islam respects religious freedom: Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. The Holy Quran 2:256

  • "Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place."

  • Aslam-o-alikum W,R,W,B, These days non-muslims have been found critcizing jihad[holy war] and saying it terroism. But it is fascinating to see tdat jihad is mentioned in bible "

  • Brother listen, jihad does not mean holy war, it means to strive or to struglle, that can be in any case wether its jihad to learn about science or jihad in a war, both ways u are striving and struggling

  • to add to what leopard786 explains... "Holy War" was a term adopted by the Christians to describe the Crusades. The term "Holy War" was not originated from Islam nor does Allah (SWT) ever refer to Jihad as a Holy War. Unfortunately, we may characterize the integration of the term "Holy War" in Islam as propaganda... Mashallah leopard786 great explanation!

  • Jazakallah Khairun brother

  • yo man ,i just wanted to say first off that I really appreciate the fact that you actually responded in a kind and amicable mood. This is coming from a Muslim. Sometimes people are really rude in their responses to religous matters and I completely agree with you that a peaceful discussion is the way to go.

  • i've watched about 5 mins of this and i still don't get the point of this video

  • Aren't you supposed to only read the Qu'ran in Arabic? Did you skim over all the parts of the Qu'ran that say "kill the unbelievers" cause i skimmed through it once and found the phrase several times. I don't claim to know much about it, i was just curious about what you guys thought about this

  • ermmm, btw its 'kill them where u find them' not 'kill the unbeleivers', and they are relatively long verses in amidst verses telling the muslims who to wage war upon and who not to wage war upon. You should know that the muslims and the Quraish Arabs were at war at the time, the hudaibeya peace treaty came later on and finaly Mecca becae muslim...

Really, i KNOW my religion, it says nothing about killing random non muslims.. :P

    peace

  • aren't you supposed to only read the bible in only hebrew?

  • maybe u shuld chick on ( the deen show )

here in you tube ,that could help u 4 better undestanding & thank u for being nice & respected man ,that was luvly & sad 2 say a bit of fresh air , coz most the thing that i hear about islam is insults & more insults

& that but me in great pain & alot of tears ,

    i cry so many times

so looking at ur video had realy made me smile ,,

so thank u so deeply for that & i wish there will be more ppl like u .... peace

  • Hello! Great video by the way

i understand your point about how Ali doesnt go into detail about those topics, because his videos are very "in general" & comical, made to spark intrest and clear misconceptions and stereotypes of islam & to keep it simple for ignorant people but like he mentioned in many of his videos dont listen to muslims learn islam for yourself in all respect my best advice to you take it or leave it is to read the quran where all your questions will be answered

    Salam

  • umm kabbalah is not idoltry, wearing rocks on your neck is i agree but kabbalah is in no way idoltarous G-d forbid! I dont mean to be rude, as you were very respectful in your video but with all do respect you shouldnt talk about and criticize things you are unsure of...thank you.

  • he doesnt say most of the things that u were wondering. like forgiveness and sin because it is all written in the quran. maybe u should read the quran and have ur own judgement. and i know a really good speaker. his name is yusuf estes and he also has his story of how he became muslim. and he really has just amazing examples and good arguments. so i would suggest u listen to him.

  • Well, muslims dont hate hindus to actually say. I mean, in India, when it was hindu and islam was spreading there was a time when islam started to go into india and begin to take over, which was a conflict waaay back then.. but not now. actually muslims like hindus, the ones you're talking about maybe who asked you to convert are not right because you cant force someone to convert nor be against another religon because allah [god] doesnt accept that so [=

  • Can anyone here explain to me why there is such a great conflict between Muslims and Hindus? I am Hindu but lately i've gotten into a lot of types of religions. And i don't want to hear "oh you should convert" sorry i understand a lot of the Muslim teachings and think it's great but i am more into my religion. I was just wondering why these two peaceful religions are having such a great conflict.

  • Well in India, there was alot of discrimination against muslims including trying to get a job. That's why Pakistan was made. Also Muslims consider hindus pagans, because u don't beleive in one god.

  • Let her tell you what she believes in.

Hinduism has MANY different interpretations. Read about what a Muslim Scholar - Srithjof Schuon had to say about it.

  • well 2 say my i hav 2 honor u for respecting other ppl religion & yet if u want 2 stay into urs that`s beauty as its self

well 4 ur wondering about all these conflict between those to religion or any ,,, is becoz its not the religion fault ,,

    its huamn madnes,creed,default & shit.

and no other coz if u looked at it this way all human history r full with ppl who luv 2 use ppl religion as marketing tool , Y ? coz religon sells & thats tha sadest true thanx with great love

  • come on bsjaxtime, all you did was go online, and cut and paste verses of the quran, verses which aren't COMPLETE, and don't tell you the part about peace That's why i hate ignorant people, they believe anything the media tells them, they're like sheep, they won't think for themselves, you've got to

  • We believe that Jesus is just a Prophet. WHO DIDN'T die. That's why I didn't write Peace be upon on him, and we also believe in his second come. Where in Bible Jesus said - I'm a God? As I know he said - He(God) who is my father and your father.

  • exactly, he was not God and NOT Gods son, then way do you christians say different things ?! Some say he was God, the son, and all that, then some say he was just the son, now u say he was just a prophet, WHICH IS IT ?! Eisa (Jesus) was an prophet of Allah !

  • I'm a muslim by the way. Word Allah from arabic means God. So, I don't understand what you are talking about, I just told that it is not correct to speak abour Jesus like he is dead, because muslims don't believe that he is dead, check out Quran.

  • sry brother, i overrushed myself, i didn´t read youre whole comment..

  • I grew up in a christian family...

    to explain this....

Christians believe God like a Shamrock.

Father, Son and Holy spirit (It's how St patrick explained)

    Those three are eternal....

    3 can become 1 and 1 can become 3

  • It`s great whan I come across a good dialogue between christians and muslims. I am a muslim myself, and I encourage all muslims to focus on the positive aspects of Islam, rather than always pointing out the errors in the bible.

    Wassalm

  • oh and another thing we are muslim becuase, there is only one God, and that is God, and God's last prophet was Mohammad (pbah). Jesus was not,not God, he was a prophet kinda like Mohammad. I think people mistook Jesus Christ, for being God. For Ex. Mosses (pbah) parted a sea, through the power of God, that does not mean that he is a God himself, it means God gave him that power to help Mosses(pbah) spread the word of God.

  • So do the muslims like the Jews still believe that the messiah is going to come?

  • Muslims believe that the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will come as the messiah of the jews. He will have super natural powers to the extent that he will kill a person and make him alive again, cause rain so on and so forth. All the people with weak faith will start to join him. This will be the time of greates trial for the believers.

Jesus christ (PBUH) will come and fight the Dajjal and kill him. This refers to the battle of Armagadon. This is a very short detail of what the muslims believe.

  • i wish someone would tell me the deal with christianty. You seem like a smart guy, why do you worship Jesus? when he was only the son of God? And then you say that God is Jesus, and Mary was Gods mom. How can God have a mother? So Jesus, the son of God, is God? And God, who is Jesus, has a mom, named Mary? I am soooo confused. How can the son of God, be himself? So what christians are saying is God called himself is the son of God and was the son of God himself? I am sooo confused?

  • i liked your testimony, but just before the questions??

i thought you have studied and have enough knowledge about two book!!bible and QURAN

but so unfortunate that you don,t!

    how can jesus be GOD?argggg

WHY WAS JESUS CONSTANTLY PRAYING TO HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN IF HE WAS HIMSELF FATHER HIMSELF?

WAS HE PRAYING TO HIMSELF? WAS HE SAYING JESUS PLEASE SHOW THESE PEOPLE THE RIGHT PATH??

YOU ARE TRYIN TO MAKE MYSTRIES WHERE AREN,T ANY!!!!

  • May God guide your heart to the straight path

  • Neil, if a human being does inhuman things , u wouldn't call him humane would u? God can do anything and everything but choses to do what is appropriate for his name and characteristics.

  • [43:81] Proclaim: "If the Most Gracious did have a son, I would still be the foremost worshiper."

[17:111] And proclaim: "Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally out of weakness," and magnify Him constantly.

  • [10:68] They said, "GOD has begotten a son!" Be He glorified. He is the Most Rich. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. You have no proof to support such a blasphemy. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?

  • God can do by word anything, but only does godly things. God shouldn't die nor have children nor killed , nor ....God is glorified beyond what transgressor say.

  • Its true that God can do everything so why cant he become a human being? This is a very popular saying.

So what if i made a VCR, would i need to become a VCR to show what is good or bad for it? No. I would send instructions/manual to show what is good or bad for it. Similarly, God sent the holy books and a man frm amongst men to show all humans right and wrong.

  • for GOD is everything possible...but we shouldnt realte things or deed to him which are against his dignity.....

  • u beleive in GOD...look at this world...read things abt this universe and than think on the concept of GOd once again....man whenever i read things abt universe and i get stunned...i become enormously impressed only by the creation and than i think on the creator..and i know that ALLAH (GOD) is the greatest..actually none of the words can probably describe GOd and thats y we define him only by his properties..

    in the end..happy Christmis

  • and its against his dignity..unlimited dignity to become a man and get killed or b defeated by one of his men n a wrestling match...Moses (A.s)asked to look ALLAH only once...and ALLAH told him that u cant bear it but Mosa insisted and than ALLAH showed very very very limited of his light and that Mountain ..tree and Moses himself coudlnt bear it

  • hi...

u asked y isnt it possible for GOD to becoe a man and die..

well i think u dont know that GOD is not like us...and he doesnt need to get killed by his own creation ...just like he doesnt need sleep and he doesnt get tired like us...and he hasnt got a body like us

  • yes for God everything is possibel but God only does Godly things

  • On the idol point, how do you justify the fact that here, at my Catholic school, there are many idols of Mary and Jesus. That is against the 10 commandments and your quote from Acts.

Also, if Jesus is God how can he be tempted by God. It is stated is Mark that he was tempted. So how is this possible?

If God just? If so why would he punish his only son for the crimes of all humans. Then all sinners just accept Jesus without contemplation.

  • I forgot the hadith but as far as I can rem. Once Gabriel the angel gave Moses to hold two bottles full of liquid and stand all night. Ofcourse Moses got tired and fell asleep. So when Moses woke up Gabriel told Moses that, if God slept, all the planets, the sun and moon will fall down. May wanna check out the most powerful verse in the Qur'an Ch.2 Verse 255. You will find some of the attributes of God.

  • God who created the heavens and the earth don't need to come down on earth and die for sinful human beings. You need to first understand the concept of "God" A God cannot eat or sleep or do the things like we humans do. If God dies, who will run the show of the universe? The sun and the moon and all the planets, who do u think is sustaining all that? Couldn't God easily send an angel and do the sacrifice part?

  • MaahAllah, i reverted to islam because of Baba Ali too!!

  • Sound a nice guy on the video. All your answers of your questions in the clip are found in the Quran.Get hold of an english translation of the Quran( Yusuf Ali).Hope it help you brother.

  • why would god create us with a sinful nature? sounds sadistic and cruel

  • Er, LexiconDevil, I believe you started it. And calling yourself a devil doesn't make a devil, does it?

  • @neilmarcusrichardson jesus in islam is a prophet just like mohammed and moses....

they were created and chosen to send a message....

we dont belive he died for our sins becuz in islam he didnt die....

we have two chapters in the holy quran that speaks of jesus's story..

usually wen a prophet is sent, they were given a gift to surprass whatever the people of that current time were famous for.... for eg

moses was sent in a time were people belived in magic, thats why the miracles that ...

  • You say all these 'nice' things about Jesus but you really have no place for him in Islam. You cannot make sense of His place within your religion, because you have removed His essential purpose: coming to die for our sins.

  • 4. It's not a weakness. It's necessary consistency of character.

    5. What sect are you speaking of? I am a protestant. Catholics also believe it. JWs and Mormons don't.

  • 1. God is forgiving, but he is also just. How do you reconcile these, without a substitionary punishment?

    2. God cannot die, and never has. Jesus died in His human nature, but not in His divine.

    3. We will all be judged for our own sins.

  • You can go and see the Bible in its original languages (Hebrew and Greek) in many different museums around the world, such as the British Museum in London. There are thousands of original language MSS which are not translations, though obviously we use English translations here, just as you use English translations of the Qu'ran so we can all understand each other.

  • All of that I agree with :-)

  • Actually Jesus' miracles are very different from the miracles of those who came before, e.g. Elijah and Moses. Jesus just laid his hands, spoke, etc. and it was done. Jesus spoke with the same authority of His Father.

  • The Trinity is by definition beyond human understanding, obviously, because an infinite God cannot be comprehended by finite human minds. Also, God is not DIVIDED into three parts, e.g. the Holy Spirit is not 33.3% of God, etc.

  • If ants were made in His image and He loved them and wanted to save them, yes.

  • None of those exactly. One God. Three persons. That means God is one and only one in substance (e.g. Deut.6:4). And he is three and only three in persons (e.g. Matthew 28:19).

  • Yes. I have no truck with that. It's Catholic idolatry.

  • Even worse.

  • What are you?

  • You don't understand the holiness of God and the sinfulness of sin. God is "not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell" (Psalm 5:5).

  • Balaam was a corrupt prophet who was eventually killed by God's people. I agree that he is an unusual example of a person God spoke to/through who was not Jewish. The Magi in the gospels are similar in that sense.

  • As far as I can tell, most Muslims are either explicitly or covertly anti-Jewish and in many Islamic countries, Christians are severely persecuted, and converts are murdered. Christians, however, when they are following Christ's command, go into ALL the world and take the good news to every person, irrespective of ethnicity- Jews, Arabs, whoever.

  • Jesus said that every sin that man commits can be forgiven, except the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (Matt.12:31). So yes this includes rapists, murderers and thieves. We know one specific thief (the one on the cross next to Jesus) who definitely went to paradise, because he repented and trusted in Christ. You need to do this also.

  • Jesus Himself said that he, "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a RANSOM for many" (Matthew 20:28).

  • Who said sex is a sin? The Bible says that the marriage bed is honourable.

  • You are extremely contradictory. In the second sentence you ask for scriptural support. In the fifth, you don't allow for this.

  • Your questions are grammatically confusing.

  • Because it is not what goes into a man that defiles, but what comes out of his heart.

  • I think the secular societies of China and North Korea have not been shy in doing their bit for evil.

  • Correct. The OT sacrifices were indeed for unintentional sin (except perhaps the scapegoat on the Day of Atonement), but this only goes to show the necessity of Christ's death. As the book of Hebrews states: "It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins" (10:4).

  • So was Mohammed in favour of lying or keeping his word?

  • Why is it 99.9% of Muslims I meet, when I ask them when they became a Muslim, they say, "I was born a Muslim." Answer: it's a cultural thing, because very few are persuaded by the logic or truthfulness of Islam, and still fewer by the actual life of its prophet.

  • Peace to you Neil. Thank you for presenting your views with sincerity and thoughtfulness. May I humbly suggest that until brother Ali posts another episode as comically witty as he is, why not seek the answers to your questions from other Muslims who have good knowledge and understanding about Islam? I have no doubt they will be able to answer to your satisfaction. As people of faith let us always turn to guidance from our Lord in all aspects of our life. Best wishes,

  • He says, ''All things are possible by God'' yet God could not forgive the original sin! These people are unable to speak without falling over their own words. The biblical contradictions could only breed people who produce more contradictions. Hence the video presentation. Jesus hates you. Amin!

  • where is Baba Ali's video?

  • Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)

3:51 "Verily, God is my Sustainer as well as your Sustainer; so worship Him [alone]: this is a straight way." -Jesus

    Topics discussed in this Verse:

[Allah:serve Him] [Allah's attributes:Protector] [Children of Israel:and Jesus] [Jesus:annunciation of] [Jesus:Messenger to Israel] [Mary:annunciation of Jesus] [Straight way (or path)]

  • May allah guide you on the wright path you really need to wake up and see reality

  • Allah leads people astray in order to populate helll. You can keep your pagan deity.

  • Iblees disobeyed his Lord and refused, stubbornly and arrogantly, to prostrate to propheth AdamThe fact the Iblees believed in the existence of Allaah, acknowledged His Might and swore an oath by that did not

  • I practice my religion and you practice your. God is the ultimate judge. Truth stands out clear from error.

  • Also, the fastest growing cult, the cult without which the venerable Crusaders would have never learned what soap, three-course meal and bath is. The cult which is exceptional because it smashes all the other cults into nothingness by the mere number of its followers. The cult that made the Europeans blush by its grand scientific achievements and the glory of Muslim Spain

Well, a unique cult by any stretch.

  • We have known for centuries that in the final days the Beast would lead most of the world willingly astray. The rise of Muhammadanism is prophesy fulfilled. Muhammadanism is exceptional alright, an exceptional fraud.

When is the last time Muhammdansim invented anything, or added anything worthwhile to the human race? If all you have is from the before the reconquista in Spain, you got NOTHING!

  • You should've been born during the 1st Crusades.

  • No, you should have been. Then you would finally understand that the crusades were a response to jihad, and not the other way araound.

  • so plese gett your facts straight b4 you comment on something you have no knowlidge of what so ever and i will make dua for you so that allah may guide back on the straight path you were born into

  • Who created sin itself? Also, if I freely give into sin will God grant me the honorable title of uniqueness?

  • By the disobedience of Adam sin came into the world.

And, as a Muhammdan, you are full entitled to commit great acts of sin and evil for the deity of the Meccans. I myself do not have the most pleasant luxury of enslaving the innocent, lying, bribery and looting, as you do by following your false 'prophet'.

  • My question was WHO created it. As your later spittings, may the Christ the Scientist enlighten you.

  • Sin was crated by the fall of man, and sin is paid for by the blood of Christ. Blind illogic is found throughout the Quran. Spittings? Try listening in on a friday afternoon prayer from Arabiab.lol

  • The belief in the Oneness of God -- as a theological movement -- began at a very early stage in history, and in fact it preceded the belief in trinity by many decades. Christianity developed from Judaism, and Judaism firmly believes that there is one God.

The path that led from Jerusalem (the home of the first disciples of Christ) to Nicea (where it was decided in 325 CE that Christ was equal to God in essence and eternal nature) can hardly be described as a straight path.

  • benefit him at all, because his belief was cancelled out by his stubbornness, pride and arrogant behaviour before Allaah when he refused to obey His command.

Allaah created Iblees for reasons which are known to Him, may He be glorified and exalted, and to be a test and a trial for mankind.

  • So God begot God and there was the go-between the Holy Spirit without which the previous two are rendered void. I implore you, show me anything here that distinctly resembles monotheism!!! PLEASE!!!

  • One substance, three persons. You Muhammadans do indeed worship one 'god', just not the God of Abraham. Much like the Mormons.

  • I think all your pathetic replies are due to your frustration at Islam's superiority and solid replies to those questions you can only master such blindingly illogical answers as the one you gave me.

  • Holy Koran Surah 112-Unity(el-ichlaas)

112.1": Say: He, Allah, is One.

"112.2": Allah is He on Whom all depend.

"112.3": He begets not, nor is He begotten.

"112.4": And none is like Him.

  • Koran surah Maria(meryem)"19.35":It beseems not Allah that He should take to Himself a ! son, glory be to Him; when He has decreed a matter He only says to it "Be," and it is.

  • Mark 12:29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a]

  • Mark 12:28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"

  • Jesus is the verb, the Father said a word, and his word has life, He is in his Word and his Word is in him, in secula seculorum amen

  • Thanks for this video, because i believe that it is vital for inter-faith dialogue, expecially in our world today. :)

  • its not about if god can become human or not; god is every where, hes in every corner of this earth nd universe. its that the quran explains that jesus, hazrat isa, was a prophet of god just like thousands before him. and why i think ali says that the quran is the truth, because after it was made, it has never been changed, i have been told that the bible has changed many times. please get back at me if u read this!

  • safe guy, good 2 see talk on friendly terms. lets keep it peaceful people.

  • No, angelsare..., it works not in this analogy. The Arab literal culture evolved on the basis of the former "lingua franca" in the near east world, i.e. aramaic. This was elder and it had an alphabet and a rich literature. The arab christians (!)used this literary culture and a aramaic christian lectionary (=Quran!)

Read "The Syro-Aramaic Reading of the Koran" in engl. Wikipedia!

  • There are parts of Quran, originally not written in Arabic language!

    Luxenberg, Christoph:

The Syro-Aramaic Reading of the Koran

    Berlin: Schiler, 2007.

    ISBN 3-89930-088-2

    Hardcover, 352 p.

"probably the most important book ever written on the Koran." (The Guardian)

  • "The book's thesis is that the Qur'an was not originally written exclusively in Arabic but in a mixture with Syriac, the dominant spoken and written language in the Arabian peninsula through the 8th century" the Quran was revealed in the 6th century and the langage used in it probably spread because muslims ruled the world for the period mentioned in the quote so naturally they would use this dialect. The Quran was revealed in a very high calibre arabic and this dialect then spread.

  • The starting point of Luxenberg's

emendations are "dark" passages in the Koran, i.e. words not existing in the Arabic language, words which are interpreted as (invented)names, offenses against the Arabic grammar, incomprehensible phrases

etc. His basic method is to understand them by taking into account the background of a strong Syriac influence on the language of the Koran. Hamzas,

vowel marks etc. are later invented and later added to the consonantal skeleton (the rasm) of the Koranic text

  • english is influenced by German. so if i want to know the meaning of the word hind, i would compare it to the german word hund which means dog? doesn't really work does it. hamzas vowels are added to help people pronounce the Quran, arabic Qurans don't necessarily contain them because Arabs know how to pronounce these words. luxenberg isn't doing anything new here, he is trying (and failing) to logically explain a divine scripture.

  • wow, I respect that you have an option for muslims to reply "post a Text comments", its rare to find this option left open for muslims this days.

  • you draaaagggggggggggggggggged this video on.....

  • poor man'it's not your fault actualy,it's your ignorance about the holy islam, may allah guide you, ameen

  • very coherent video and detailed infact i am paying more attention now to those details u point to which i didnt. however, all i know is that in Islam when a person is convinced that it is a true religion based on some hard facts then he is forgiven all his passed sins like a new born baby. also ur judged by ur intentions and actions.

  • Hi Neil, I'm impressed by your sincerity. I was interested in starting an email conversation with you regarding Christianity. Would you be interested?
