  • this and here comes trouble are both superb work, great rock and roll, enjoy; it still rocks!

  • for any one that did rip on a new singer for thisong or any others well show us how it,s done since you re perfect thank you but i thought it sound good

  • Sorry, no Rodgers, not BC. And this is a pretty formulaic, safe, boring tune. Thumbs down from what we've expected from BC. This is like top 40 air play made to sell, selling to bore.

  • GOOD music!

  • it is one of their better songs.

  • This singer is excellent. Bet he could do a killer John Waite impersonation too..."Here I am, I'm back on my feet again..."...."I ain't missin' you at all...." etc.

Rarely does a band sound this good after replacing an absolutely iconic lead singer with another who sounds NOTHING like him. Van Halen got away with it, that's about the only one springing to mind. Yes, Journey, Deep Purple, Foreigner, Styx,...they all got a guy who's a carbon copy of the original.

    Paul RoDgers w/Queen...meh.

  • This whole cd rocks!

  • Bad Co. still rules but Rogers was the best

  • 3 people cant wish they could walk through fire (;

  • Damn, I forgot how many good songs they had back then. I just brushed up because Howe is openining up for Great White. I hope he got good Bad Co. money, because he deserves it. These are good songs.

  • My brother saw Bad Company back in 1990. Slaughter was the opening act.

  • Can their songs get anymore perfect?

  • i remember pumping real iron to this song no doubt!!

  • rodgers created a great sound with bad co and even after he left the great tunes and amazing lyrics continued truly a great band, hands down!! thanks bad co. for all the great years of perfect rock tone and lyrics that moved us all

  • What a great song! Love it!

  • For me, one of my favorite songs on what is also my favorite Bad Company album. Just awesome.

  • the bad boy's knocked it out of the park , 2 albums in a row! :)

  • Only issue I have with the Howe era of Bad Company is they weren't quite as much their own thing as they were with Paul Rodgers. But they could sure as hell still rock!

  • @samboy1288 its almost like rock itself, across the board, wasnt quite the same. eg. starship, journey, van halen, scorpions. they all sort of veered down the format hit road. really "hooky" and "produced". still, for what it was, at that time in our lives, it worked REALLY well. i know I could totally relate to it. still can somehow!!!! trippy!!!

  • This is an amazing song =D i love bad company

  • Howe is an amazing vocalist. If this album is underrated, so is the whole Howe-era.

  • @detonator2112 it's just an underrated band, period!

  • pefrect sound track

  • This is my all time Album of all!!!!

  • One of the most underrated albums in rock history.

  • Sadly it took until 2002 for me to hear this whole album, but now Im glad i had

  • bad co. is coming to atlanta...

  • i love bad co seen them 3 time with damn yankess in im maine out side an had a few beers back in the day ........... got love them

  • I loved the whole album....they have another one that came out close to this...Here comes trouble....have a listen to it!!!!!!

  • they still rock yea

  • this is a great album!!!!

  • Yea its unfortunate that when they dumped Brian in '92 he had to sue them for the rights to sing the songs live as a solo act. There has been pretty bad blood since then. Simon Kirke has been a total ass about the whole thing slinging mud at Brian since then. Bad Co doesnt even acknowledge that Brian was even a member and do not promote or perform any of Brians songs even tho Brian wrote their only #1 hit IF YOU NEEDED SOMEBODY. Brian has a new solo out called THE CIRCUS BAR. Check it out.

  • I still have this album on cassette tape; still love this music! Why didn't these guys hit it bigger?

  • @sherryberry65

Hit it bigger????? These guys sold millions of records, filled stadiums, concert halls, theaters, where ever they could pack them , they'd be there to see them. :) Not to mention their musical influences on the entire music world.

  • With this particular lineup with Brian Howe? Wish I'd been paying better attention so I could've been in one of those packed stadiums.

  • @sherryberry65 No, it wasn't with this particular lineup with Howe as lead vocalist. They became majorly successful in the 70's with Paul Rodger's as lead until sometime in the 80's. I can't say for sure how big they were in terms of records and concert tickets sold with Rodgers vs Howe! However, I think they had more top hits with Rodgers, but IDK about that for sure! Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Personally, I can think of more "big" hits with Rodgers, tho I liked both myself!

  • @JoviAngel60 the early band with rodgers out sold howes line up ,BUT,the howe era was so fresh and new they would have supassed the early works with rodgers no problem.I think rodgers overcame his ageing vocal problem to comeback because he knew he must after hearing how good this new sound was.HE kind of owes howe for the motivation provided to get him back on stage Nipped them in the bud.Kind of a shame really....I like them both.and really wanted to hear some more from the newer bad co.

  • Brain Howe!!!!! whoa.

  • Brian Howe is great! I love 80´s bad company era...great Rock!

    Amazing song!*****

  • Damn good song

  • How great is this whole album?.....Love this song.....fantastic......

  • Excellent album I must say!

  • I know, right!!

  • @rockerchic63 This whole CD is five-star.

  • @rockerchic63 this album was and still is great, check out here comes trouble for more great BC!

  • u remember the holes in the knees? the pony tails

  • intersting observation, probaly a little/lot of both.....@}---

  • hearin this again brings to mind 2 things.....1;I sure do miss her! 2;GOD i,ve gotten old! .....life...huh?

  • may ask hu is her??an ex girl ? or a metaphore on your past in general ???

  • Lets not even campare Rodgers to Howe! Rodgers is one of the best period! This is the Howe version Bad Co best effort. I think this is one of, if not the best song of that era. No smoke without a fire may be the best. Holy water is a good pop rock record! Howe is a good singer in his own right.

  • kick ass song brilliant tune love it...

  • a bisserl schnulzig aber sonst ok.

  • I enjoyed the Rodgers and Howe releases. Hands down the best Howe's Company album. I have such good summer memories that correspond with this album and song.

  • How's was the best? I never even hear any of these songs on the radio. Paul Rodgers was the best thing Bad Company ever had and when he left he was off making more hits!!!

  • Nah. What I meant was it was the best "Bad Company album with Howe in the vocalists chair". The Rodgers era 74-82 is definitive and the best hands down. Paul Rodgers is one of if not the best rock vocalist out there. I agree I rarely hear any of the Howe era stuff on the radio these days.

  • oh, ok i get ya lol

  • Lol. Of course. That's how I determine what's good music and what's not...if they play it on the radio. ;-)

Have you ever heard Hearts "Sleep Alone" on the radio? Check it out and let me know why this song and album(Passionworks) were swept under the rug.

  • I could walk through fire, I can feel it burning

And I could walk through fire, right back to you

And as the flames get higher, you know I'll get stronger

Baby I could walk through fire.

    (Would have.)

  • BC best album straight shooter ok but not as good......

  • fucking kick ass song man keep listening to this over and over again!

  • still lone paul rodgers better but this singer is great also....

  • killer tune gotta love bad company!

  • maybe some of you need to look prior to the Holy Water cd.....Bad Co has many, many huge songs that used to air all the time on the radio but evidently you weren't born then or listening to other kinds of music

  • Good song!

  • this is like, the worlds best song! :}

  • YEP Mick Ralphs can rip off those licks as good as anyone in the biz, Simon Kirke certainly a solid hammerman and Brian Howe got Pipes , Im kinda surprised they never broke thru.... Kirke + Ralphs had a Knack for picking great vocalists ,That 3rd Lead Singer Hart? ,he was a badass too..

  • Oh this song reminds of somebody in 1991,L.S.Where are you??

  • i used to work out to song like 20 years ago

  • great song from a great band! :-)

  • Omg i love 'em.. to bad they never had any big breakthrough.. it would have been awsome to see them live!

I've been listening to Holy Water for like a year without listening to any other songs of bad company.. stupid

  • I totally agree!!

  • God Bad company is so underrated. they're amazing.

  • One of my faves with this band. Check out my video "This could be the one" =)
