  • definntly my favorite P.O.S. song ever!!! all of them are amazing though.

  • I gotta disagree, i think his beats are very catchy. His beats are very complex and unique throughout this album. His lyrics are equally profound and unique. Moral of the story; smoke weed and listen to P.O.S.!

  • love this song!!!

had to jump on this beat to show my appreciation...

  • "...I draw a line between easy melody

And piece of mind..." so True!

  • Who the fuck disliked this??

  • Rise Against turned me onto P.O.S. Most of the hip hop I'm exposed to is utter crap. I wish there was more out there like this man.

  • love it!

  • @DeadRegrets Puke On Shit my favorite and it seems no1 has heard of junk science(baje one)

  • you really think a president could represent you?

you really think a president would represent you?

pos is a fuckin lyrical genius, as well as eyedea RIP

    2 best rappers ever!!!

  • A Mitch Headberg reference and a Big Labowski reference in the same song, one more reason to like P.O.S.

  • Mitch Hedberg reference, calssic.

  • Holy fuck. Good shit.

  • youre out of your element donny, shut up

    the dude abides...

he must have just finished watching The Big Lebowski when he wrote this

  • the Dude abides.

  • P.O.S. (Pissed off Stef) is a lyrical genius and probably the most unique rapper I have ever heard. His lyrics make me think. I learn more in a single P.O.S. song than I do in a week of school. Now thats saying something. His lyrics might not be understood at first but once you analyze them you find that almost every line is mind blowing and creative. P.O.S, Aesop Rock, Immortal Tech, Shad, Nas, Tonedeff, Talib Kweli, RA the rugged Man, Pumpkinhead, Blueprint, and Brother Ali always keep it real

  • @69longboarding P.O.S. stands for alot of things Promise of Skill, Promise of Stress, Piece of Shit etc..

  • SPOTLESS MORALITY. DOESNT EXIST. POETIC JUSTICE IN A FUCKING PISSED OFF SOCIETY WITH POS AS A POSITIVE TO ALL THE FUCKING NEGATIVE.

  • "....Now what do you do? Not exactly like you don't do anything exactly... but more like WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU DO? *BAM* holy shit, that makes you think... People do things but what are they actually doing it for? for there personal happiness only? or for the good of the world? or both? or neither?, so you can get all the possessions you WANT but don't NEED.

  • POS is the Black Sage Francis

  • gonna see him once again at SXSW. Gonna be epic

  • A Minnesota, Mitch Hedberg, and Big Lebowski reference in the same song? Yes please.

  • this song was soooooo sick last night at the doomtree snowout

  • MACHO MADNESS IS COMIN STRAIGHT AT YOU

  • Saw him live last night, he's fawcking amazing!

  • @chaotickittie03 I waaas soooo wishing I could have been there! I was stuck in lame ass Park Rapids.

  • i hate that rappers like this aren't that popular. this guy is brilliant.

  • The entire album is brilliant. It set my entire tone for 2009 and helped keep me sane in this year. I had the opportunity to see him perform a free live show at ear-x-tacy in Louisville, KY a few years back (I think '07 or '08). It was easily a defining experience for me and I haven't looked back since.

  • Anyone else think he sounds like Sage Francis in this song?

  • @Jackai7 Not so much.

  • you neeeeeeeeeeeeeed to catch all the references and shit to get to know POS. hes a fucking wordsmith.

his stuff before this is even better imo too.

check out THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY FUCK YOU.

  • you gotta listen to this with some nice ass headphone. You dont hear all of it unless you hear ALL OF IT. those of you wit hi def headphones know wat im talkin bout ;P

  • This album should be bought just because of this opener :)

Rest is great too but I would pay $15 for this song

  • P.O.S' music is so intense. Pretty much every track on this album gives me shivers.

  • this song sent chills thru my body. this guy is so amazing i love every one of his songs and its almost a wonder how he makes every think flow so smooth. but i guess id be out of my element to question such great lyrical creativity.

  • "People just Wal-Mart what they're worth. Roll back!" good shit.

  • my favorite song of all time.

  • P.O.S. makes me wanna.. do something.

I mean like, for the world. I want to go give a year's paychecks to people who need it. I wanna go to the peace corps. I want to be a politician that maybe people will listen to even when i'm not telling something that they like. I want to try to change the world for the better. Ya know?

  • "THE DUDE ABIDES"

  • Dufrane, Search Party of 4... Classy reference right there.

  • @thejther Shawshank Redemption? if thats what he means haha. that's a great movie:]

  • @thejther and "the dude abides" classic.

  • @thejther yeah....but what about the Dufranes? they're in somebody's trunk right now with duct tape over their mouths. and their hungry. that's a triple whammy!

  • @thejther That's my fav line.

  • @thejther Leave it to a brilliant rapper like P.O.S. to reference Mitch Hedberg hahaha

  • @thejther mitch hedberg baby! yeah that reference was fucking epic

  • what zulu said.. great movie!

  • Saw him at Warped Tour in Vancouver last year. No one in the crowd knew what to expect from a rapper tossed in with all the screamo and metal bands. Needless to say his set started out with the crowd not too into it, but by the third or so song it was probably one of the most involved and loudest of the day. Speaks volumes about his talent and charisma as well as the ability of his music to reach through to genre whores.

  • yeah there great one of the staff members of rehab i was at gave me there cd and i loved it there great

  • they are good pos is helping me get through rehab his music is unstoppable and ridiculously good

  • This song has so much power within the words. I respect and very much like P.O.S's unique twist in Hip Hop, its very unorthodox, does not sound like any other rapper. His beats might not be catchy but if you really listen to his songs, just sit there and listen to this songs with 100% concentration it really grows on you. His style is genious and poetic

  • @dp100 Word, Yeah sometimes I feel like I could be sitting in a coffee shop or something.

  • @dp100 I agree 100 percent. He is to hip hop of our generation what Chuck-D was in the late 80's early 90's. He'll never be on the radio or MTV... But who needs him to be? He's a genius. Also a very likeable/approachable dude... Not to mention his live show is absolutely UNFORGETTABLE!

  • @dp100 His beats are very catchy

  • @dp100 I cannot agree more. And you're right, you really have to concentrate on the lyrics to understand them. It's nothing like that 'I got money, I got bitches, I'm gonna blow your head off' crap most rappers put in their songs.

  • @dp100

    well said, man! (seriously)

  • @dp100 not catchy? i'm playing these songs in my head all day, it's part of what gets me through the work day. i don't need to concentrate 100% on his songs to enjoy them.

  • @dp100 I love his beats personally.

  • @dp100 Actually, he reminds me of some of the stuff Sage Francis does. Pretty similiar, hard-hitting and truthful stuff, especially "Best of Times, Worst of Times". I just discourgaed P.O.S. and I'm lovin' it.

  • @dp100 .....I think they're catchy.......

  • Hip hop and metal will never die!

  • It's awesome how in the beginning of the song, he kicks this calm flow, and it really draws in the listener, and then once he says "They're out for presidents to represent them, you think a president could represent you?", it almost sounds like he's trying to yell at you, but he's doing it to get a point across, and he keeps the flow up for the whole song, and then the amazing chorus comes in... This song is just a banger...

  • Minnesota rappers are the best!!! P.O.S. and Slug for life.... Love you Rhymesayers

  • come to soundset 2010 it'll be worth it i promise!

  • hot!!!

  • Best opening track of any album I can recall.

  • Greetings from Poland - P.O.S. !!!!

  • fuck yes, mitch hedberg reference ftw!

  • Also a big lebowski reference squeezed in there.

  • @YouShutupSir what is lebowski?

  • @ZuLu2one4 look up the big lebowski at your local movie store. It's a cult classic movie!!!

  • such a sick track

  • my fav pos song dude
