The "excellent" customer service needs to keep in mind that they exist for one reason--to support Soldiers and their Families. There are some who need to retire because they seem to have forgotten that.

Gotta ask did you go there with a family or as a single? I'm looking at moving there with hubby next june. What can you tell me (good and bad) and do you have any tips or tricks you can offer (other than run screaming and dont come......tried it already)

@elizabethjulia82 I came here with my family. The base itself is not bad. Other than Fayettville the area is pretty good.(Not as good as Ft Carson or some other places ive been). The cost of living is cheap and its not to far from Raleigh/Durham or the beach. There are some good mountians a few hours away. (Ski resorts, four wheeling and good camping).Bragg has some of the worst customer service i have seen. I have heard some of the units suck too. The unit im in is pretty good.

i think camp humpherys korea has the best barracks room. seriously im stationed at fort carson now and ive seen the barracks and housing here and it sucks ass i live my ass off post.

Sure you can- you can enlist for a hitch of 4ish years active, and 4 years reserve and once you've completed it, you'll also be elgible for american citizenship- so you would have both american and brit citizenship. I've seen it done- and I spent 3 years at Bragg

Well Windo, theres only 2 ways to leave Fort Bragg:

A)Bodybag, the prefered way or

B)Ending Time In Service (ETS)

You get stationed at Bragg, get transfered overseas when your overseas hitch is over you'll be sent right back to Bragg.

i wish were living in a nice barracks like that. i lived in a filty barracks with community showers and no air condition. im in a B Co. 407th BSB 2nd BDE 82nd Airborne Div.
