im from bangalore, and i can tell you that this is the unfortunate truth. i did not know how serious the issue was, i have heard about such a thing every now and then, it'd be on the newspapers a couple of times a year. but 60+ incidents in the last 8 years is a lot. even a single incident is unpardonable. i hope the perpetrators are punished to the fullest etent. in such cases, i'd prefer an eye for an eye - only then will the perpetrators come to know of the pain and gravity of the situation.
