I just installed freeDOS in an old Notebook, Compaq Presario 1244, I`m new to DOS and I wonder if there`s a way to change the font & color and make it all permanent
It makes dos use a ui, not sure which gui it is, It's been a long time. I'm trying to install freedos on a four Gb hard drive @ the moment. In case you didn't know. FreeDos is Linux.

@klobiber Did you installed the full Iso? Try to type this first "cd \" and then "gem.bat"

it is freeDOS.
but It comes With A Desktop Enviroment Called FreeGEM.
that was the thing That looked like Mac.
