Sounds like he's going into his falsetto on these lines. It's a range in a singer's voice where it crosses the line between the tenor vocal into the "falsetto'. Almost every singer uses that in their songs. Hope that helps.

Michael definitely did think outside the box.

His vocals are so original, it's what seperated him from all the others, those little things he did w/ his voice ( the vocal hiccups, the hee hee's, the breath spits, etc..) on top of that he was a ' truthful' singer. Whatever emotion that was in his voice...that was real. There are no truthful singers today...not like Michael.

That's what I miss most about him
