i work at an egg farm 5 days a week that has 3 sheds with 15'000 chickens in each shed, and we generally rake out between 12'000 -14'000 eggs every day, and about maybe 20-40 eggs are that big, so they are a bit rare, its even weirder when you find an egg inside an egg, first time i saw that i didnt know what the hell was goin on hah

NICE! I got 2 giant eggs like that this summer from my free range hens :) I didn't have the heart to eat them though lol. They are sitting up on a shelf next to the 2 smallest eggs I got this year. hehe they look pretty cool all lined up in holders :D

pfft that's not the worlds biggest chicken egg, I also have free range chooks in my backyard, and this occurs quite regularly. Double yolk eggs aren't that rare. What's never happened to us though is the whole egg around another egg(so one egg shell around another)

If it's a double yolker than that means that 2 birds would of came out of the egg. The chicks would be twins. Thats what it means when there are 2 yolks.
