I work in a grocery store, they've been playing this song for 2 years. I finally decided to try looking for it, and I was in complete shock when I found out it was R.E.M. Yes thats sounds very much like Michael stride...BUt the song sounds nothing like their other stuff. now I can listen to it whenever I like :-)

Because this song was not put out when REM was in it's peak. Unfortunately the record complany's tell the sheeple population what is supposed to be popular and good.

I actually liked the fact that not too many people know this song. I feel like I have my own secret that I don't want to share with anybody.

REM are one of the very few bands/singers who have not sold out to corporate greed. I saw them live in Australia in 2005, my wife was not a huge fan, but afterwards she was. They played this song, it was one of the highlights of the concert.

I too have been looking for this song for a while, hearing it only on supermarket loudspeakers.

Today it came on the speaker in Publix here in Florida. I caught some lyrics and came home and finally found it.

this song and the whole album of UP has a place in my heart. Pure poetry can only become muddled beautifully with the noise of music sweeping it along into our minds, hearts, and ears.
