its more for a simulated effect if your in such and such radius from the impact zone your dead. well thats my guess thats how we run mortars were we play

@calleway66 we can fire BBs, or little charges, but the effect is still not comparable to anything else on airsoft playground. If we take heavier load and shoot heavier things it gets to dangerous.

In Mil-Sim games, we use it as an objective. For instance, go to positon A, fire 20 rounds, get away.

FlaK 18 and later models have a weight of about 5 tons. Rather try a 120mm mortar first ;)

it is possible, in my other mortar video you see them flying out, but they come down to slow, you need heavier things to get some effect. like shotgun pellets. (they down hurt at so slow speed, but you feel it)

there's kind a easier way thats louder...... get a pvc pipe and paint it and make a stand like what it looks like on the outside just dont do all the enternals...... take a mortal ball firework light it and put it in....... WATCH IT BLOW!!!

..how do you know how loud that was? Believe me, PVC is to light weight and this thing is tough build, it wont break. ...PVC is a good solution if you need some more for a big event.

you can possibly go to a hunting store by you and buy some black powder which acts as lift powder and explosive if it's packed in, it should be in a plastic or glass jar

Material ist (bis auf die Schrauben) ausschließlich S235JR+AR , habe das Ding aus dem Kopf relativ schnell zusammengebaut. Teile gesägt, zusammengeschweißt, fertig. Das einzige, was etwas länger gedauert hat war das Gelenk. Insgesamt hat es möglicherweise 120min gedauert. Wenn man Material, Arbeit und vorallem "Maschinenstunden" reinrechnet dürfte das ganze schon ein bisschen was kosten, kann mich da aber nicht festlegen.

Yes, you also don't need a realistic looking gun, nor do you need original gear or stuff like that...We don't use it to hit player with it, but we use it for "mission-reasons" ..like: Get the Mortar in place at Point A, fire 10 rounds and get away, while other team tries to prevent it. It is a matter of atmosphere, bringing more action to the game.

it is deathly easy to make one of these things, idk about the metal components but i made one out of pvc and airsoft grenades. the grenades for launchers mind you, not the break apart grenades.

It really depends on the wind conditions and thequality of grenade. I can tell you that it will scare the hell out of whoever you play against, and it will also knock a few of them out of the game if they don't see you first. I would say have your guns all ready to go before worrying about getting something like this though.
