i notice on your jumping form u take kind of a slightly longer stride before u initiate your 2 foot plant does that help u to jump off of 2 feet with more speed?

Hey Jacob im 15 6 foot tall and weigh 160.ive done jump manual for about 7 weeks now, I have seen alot of gains in my strength, but my vertical hasnt increased much. Do you think I will see gains in my vertical anytime soon?
0:25 You're fucking exploding off the ground man! I have a question though do I need to perform the almost full circle you do with your arms across the body or does it have to be a movement that goes simply upwards?
I noticed the full arm swing too. I'm able to dunk off a raw vertical, but only get like 1-2 inches more with a running start so I guess throwing arms back might give me some added inches right away.
@stevelau1922 It aint gonna give it to you right away, you gotta find your rhythm and feel confortable with it first, it's not like you throw your arms around like a monkey and all of a sudden you're jumping 10 more inches.
I have been doing your JM for about 3 weeks now I noticed a 2" increase the first week but the rest is slowly coming along. I am only in the 3rd week of training. I wonder though is getting higher have alot more to do with approach than just strength?

@adarqui in your defence and to your credit Andrew you are definitely giving Jacob props for his hops. You and I know don't agree with him about a few things but there is no arguing JH is a very decent guy who has some crazy hops. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Link in a dunk contest actually.
