  • The inconvenient truth is Al Gore's new climate company is conveniently worth 100 Million US $.

  • Please take an environmental studies class, until then don't think you can be a skeptic on an issue you don't know anything about.

  • it is so easy to prove global warming is not happening both by nature and man

just check the composition of the atmosphere

  • Global warming does not exist

  • doesnt really matter if u dont belive it anymore does it? cause now the public opinion is taking a serious shift australia is taking a pulic vote on it soon if they reject it the western world will be forced to take a massive step back and reevaluate this junk science

  • "Environmentalists use fear and lack of understanding to achieve their goals" what an Orwellian statement in a trailer that is using fear and lack of understanding to achieve its goal.

"Environmentalists" have the mass of peer-reviewed scientific literature on their side. What do the denialists have? YouTube videos.

Anyone who buys the denialist BS falls in one of three categories, ignoramus, moron, or industry paid shill. That is the inconvenient truth behind denialism.

  • then u pay for it if u have so much faith in them, im having a hard enough time paying tuition while working without everything that needs to be shipped getting more expensive. everyone shouts about global warming until they see that they have to pay to fix it

  • look im all for keeping sulfur dioxide and flourocarbons out of the air, but co2 is easily the most commonly used and emitted gas in any industry. its nontoxic, and accounts for.5% of our atmosphere. i and all the people i work with emitt at least 2,000 cfh of it everyday, resturant/gas station/bar drink dispensers are powered by it. the implications of cap and trade are much further reaching than just cars and coal plants.

  • its not true, the consensus view just keeps the grant money flowing, if theres no problem theres no funding. that is one fact about the scientific community nobody can deny. theres never any good hearted save the world research that is this heavily funded. its all about the money changing hands.

  • lol keep shouting your pretentious venom. im so sure insulting the opposition helps

  • exactly co2 is too heavy of a gas to go all into the atmosphere

  • Dear friends,

it's all fake, oceans acidification and CO2 concentration levels have not reached higher values than ever in the last 15 million years, the correlation (relation) of CO2 to temperature over the last millenia is not 0.8 out of 1, no no no! the leaked Climate gate emails prove: All science is wrong and the earth is really not a globe, but a disk.

  • keep telling it , the people who listen dont write back but dont lose heart, thats just cause they agree

  • Groupthink based upon junk science for the purpose of enriching the Al Gores of the world. Bleh. Let me outta that. Regulate business as it relates to the environment, but don't straitjacket them. Break up monopolies to foster competition. Then stand back and watch the economy come roaring back on the cleaner, greener choices of the people. If you despise business so much why do you idealize big government? There lies the power to hurt you.

  • love it man keep up the good work :)

  • yea where the fuck is that lady from? I want to move there.

  • @Orhuxley , are you KIDDING? What do YOU think is the greatest friend to the poor? You think the poor rather have hand outs or rather be able to provide for themselves and their families? What a joke. Of course business and capitalism have raised the standard of living worldwide. Shake off the blinders of your paternalistic ideology, man.

  • I found the full feature of this on youtube as well.

    also check out w w w . climatechains . c o m

  • Were having climate change right now where i live, Its gonna rain all fuckin' night then its suppose to get a little warmer then its gonna rain some more then its suppose to get colder might snow. Yeah the climate CHANGES ALL THE TIME, Just like its suppose to.

  • People actually think they have researched and come to a conclusion. They think that their opinion is actually theirs.

Ignorance is not bliss. It's enslavement of the mind

  • People are already a hell of a lot less free than they believe.

Read the patriot act, and homegrown terrorism act.Check out the federal reserve and the value of the dollar.

people are soo fucking ignorant, it kills me. They don't even have an opinion. they just think like their "side" of the news tells them too. Democrats are bad, the answer is republicans, Republicans are the worst, democrats are the answer.

They repeat little soundbites that get drilled into their head watching the news

  • Anyone who believes otherwise is a "climate denier".

Are people even paying attention? The whole basis of science goes against the ideas that are being promoted now.

    It's ridiculous.

And you say "Once we have safeguarded a future for the planet, then we can discuss our personal freedoms".

If our founding fathers could see what we've come.

Lets give all of our freedoms away to the government, which is inherently evil if you know anything about history. And just let them take care of us.

  • Look at how far up big oik companies are in campaign contributions.

We could easily be driving cars that get at least 60mpg.

We should be producing industrial hemp. running our cars off that. Making our paper from that.

Stop dumping toxic waste into the oceans.

This movement has nothing to do with the environment.

But it's so easy to whip the people behind something like this. Show them the inconvenient truth, show them the day after tomorrow, talk about impending doom on the news

  • yea I hear you. Did you ever see the doc who killed the electric car? We could have been off gas powered cars in the 80's

  • its battery technology that is the problem, an electric car's batteries weigh 1/3-1/4 of the entire car. come up with a lighweight battery and there u go.

  • Now it's "climate change" so that pretty much anything that happens can be classified under.

Look at the motive behind it. The politicians have every reason to make something like this up.

They're going to gain so much power out of it. Our government has been snatching power any way it can.

You you make carbon a commodity, you can control every facet of of human life.

How many cars they can drive, how many livestock they can own.

    so many things

  • i love the passion of the scottish pro free fredom anti global warming lady

  • People are so ignorant. They can be pushed into almost any movement so easily.

Look at California. I used to surf there all the time. Some spots you can't surf for days after a good rain storm. If you do you risk getting extremely sick, because your literally swimming in sewage.

The "climate change" movement has absolutely nothing to do with saving the environment.

Use your brain. Do some real research

  • Finally...some real facts for folks to see the truth about how our country is dealing with the climate and enviroment.

  • You betcha, Algore! "The climate "crisis" and the economic crisis are intertwined. The climate "crisis" is exacerbating, indeed, driving the economic crisis by creating fear in the marketplace. When bureaucrats control everything, only bureaucrats prosper.

  • "So-called 'global-warming' is just a secret ploy by wacko tree-huggers to make America energy independent, clean our air and water, improve the fuel efficiency of our vehicles, kick-start 21st-century industries, and make our cities safer and more livable. Don't let them get away with it!"

  • No, 'global-warming' is just a secret ploy by corporations to use wacko tree-huggers to make every decision you make about your life subject to their permission, their design, and for their market share.

  • Cascade Policy Institute, Portland, Oregon produced this video. For information visit the Cascade Policy Institute website.

  • Please help raise awareness of more important issues like the geoengineering programmes that are dumping aerosols into our atmosphere effecting ecosystems. People, Bees, Flora are all dying, look here if you want to find out why.

  • Well Minnesota, all the scientists don't agree on anything and thats par for the course. Most scientists (more than 30,000) agree that there is no warming. As for the IPCC, you should investigate how it operates. There is a core group who dictate what the rest are to write.

  • To whover made this video I thank you as a proud cousin from Autralia from the very bottom of my heart.

    We are cheering

  • Easy to say it's bad, be specific, what is bad about it?

  • Funny that the "Global Warming" promoters have had to change the name to "Climate Change". The name was no longer meaningful for them. Yes, also look at the people lobbying for Climate C hange legislation, big businesses. What a convenient truth, Al Gore, G.E.'s Jeffrey Imelt.

  • In the 70's it was a new ice age. In the 90's it was global warming. Now that the temp has gone down since 1998 it's climate change. All three are a big huge lie meant to control your life and make some people rich.

Look into why Greenland was named that.

  • djalbert,

oh what about the millions of people that wil be hurt because we are so focused on a degree here and a degree there.

We spend more money on climate research than we do on aids and cancer combined. It is about priorities. There are millions of people that die every year from lack of access to clean water and you are so focused on energy rationing for the developed world.

    You make me sick.

  • The people promoting 'Global Warming" are not really trying to save the world, it's all about making money. After all when Al Gore lost what else did he have to do.

  • danchad79,

I'm sorry that I make you sick, in fact that saddens me, as I have nothing but care and compassion as my driving force.

You are absolutely right that it is about priorities, but if we don't tackle the issue of climate change now then there will be millions more people who, as you so rightly put it, "die every year from lack of access to clean water."

  • First off, do some research on temperature. We are in a cooling trend the last few years.

We have 10% corn ethanol in our gas which kills the efficiency and actually uses more fuel to produce, while at the same time using up food.

We should be using hemp for fuel.

We should stop cutting down trees for paper.

We should stop dumping waste into the oceans.

This "climate change" bullshit has nothing to do with saving the environment

  • People keep using "climate change" is some weird spots.

"You're right, climate change ins't necessarily about pollution and the environment; it is about securing the future of a planet the human race can survive on. That to me is more important than individual lifestyle choices"

You make it sound as if climate change is a lifestyle.

First off, the climate is always changing. At one point there was "global cooling" and we were all going to freeze, then "global warming"

  • I would also add that you criticized me for being "focused on a degree here and a degree there" but I think you need to appreciate the significance of what you are saying. Taken at face value, what you call "a degree here and a degree there" equals 2 degrees. That may not seem much to you, but 2 degrees is literally all we can afford.

  • What is your profit motive for this egoistic point of view? How in our huge world do you think we small people can effect the weather on this massive planet? Get your globe out and take a look at how small we really are and get over your guilt ridden self. Stop trying to rob me of my freedom!

  • Shut the fuck up, dumb ass.

  • There are scientists who don't believe that massive global warming is occurring. If you take the time to read "State of Fear" (Horrible story. Great data) it shows data proving that CITY temperatures are rising, but rural areas are the opposite. There is also proof that glaciers are getting larger in the Himalayas, Greenland, and Norway due to warmer winters, but cooler summers as reported by the BBC.

  • LOL! There isn't a single credible scientist who discounts Global Warming, not one. This is the stupidest republican nonsense around. The Earth is warming at an advanced rate, period.

  • That is insane.

There are thousands upon thousands of scientists that show a more sensible view of global warming.

The earth is not warming at an advance rate....look at the data. The earth has been cooling for at least the past 7 years!

  • NO, it hasn't. 2009, will be close to 1998 as the hottest year in the last 150, global temperatures show it. And, since 2007, THERE IS NO SCIENTIST OF ANY STANDING OR REPUTE WHO HAS DISSENTED ON THE REALITY OF GLOBAL WARMING. Thousands you say? At what mental institution. Google record heat 2009 genius! This video is a joke, at best. At worst, it's the product of a dangerous psychotic.

  • >Google record heat 2009

Now google record cold 2009 :-)

If you start with one temperature monitoring station, for any given day on the 2nd year you'll have 50% chance of a new high (1/2). After 100 years you'll only have a 1% chance. Now put up 1000 stations. You're virtually guaranteed of having a record high or low broken somewhere every day, even if the average temperature doesn't change at all. A climatologist would laugh at you if you try to pick a trend out of record highs (or lows).

  • True, however, the trend is up, and there is no denying that at all. In two years, expect to have grossly abnormal heat throughout the world. Do you discount Global Warming, or Climate Change, and that's it is caused by man-made pollutants? That would be irregular considering no scientists of any standing have dissented since 2007.

  • >the trend is up

Not surprising, considering that we've just come out of the coldest period in millennia, the little ice age. Temperature doesn't stay the same, but trend up or down. If it was trending down (as it did from 1940~1980), would you be blaming man as well? That his pollution was dimming the sun?

    >no scientists of any standing have dissented since 2007

We've covered this before--you either have your head in the sand, or dissent automatically make them lunies in your mind.

  • The alleged cooling of 1940 through 1970:

"Mitchell was only collecting data over a fraction of the Northern Hemisphere—from 20 to 90 degrees North latitude. Still, the result drew public attention and a number of speculative articles about Earths coming ice age appeared in newspapers and magazines."

    REALITY:

"Ramanathan pointed out that human-made chlorofluorocarbons (or CFCs) are particularly potent greenhouse gases, with as much as 200 times the heat-retaining capacity of carbon dioxide."

  • >The alleged cooling of 1940 through 1970:

    >"Mitchell was only collecting data over a fraction of the Northern Hemisphere..."

OMG. By far the best tracking in the world over 20th century is the US station records--lots of them--and it's clear. Are you saying what, that we were really warming during that period?

    >"... human-made chlorofluorocarbons... are particularly potent greenhouse gases... 200 times the heat-retaining capacity of carbon dioxide."

So what? We put out a tiny amount.

  • You suggest, by referencing a study's opinion on cooling from 1940 to 1970 (which has been disproved) is an accurate measure of Global Cooling, or an Ice Age? A 30 year period? Global Climate takes thousands of years for a real change, and you're suggesting thousandths of degrees over 30 years is proof of cooling? The Global Warming we are experiencing now is man-made and real, and the trend is UP. Again, there are no scientists of any standing that have disagreed with this since 2007.

  • >you're suggesting thousandths of degrees over 30 years is proof of cooling?

LOL--thousandths of degrees--yeah, like hundreds of thousandths. Just like the amount of warming. Anyway, I referred to it as a trend, and it was closer to 40 years. You want to pretend it didn't happen--great. Do you believe in the little ice age? Of did that not happen too?

    >no scientists of any standing that have disagreed with this since 2007

You need help, dude. Enjoy the delusion.

  • >You suggest, by referencing a study's opinion

    >on cooling from 1940 to 1970 (which has been

    >disproved) is an accurate measure of Global

    >Cooling, or an Ice Age?

This is so far from what I said, that you are clearly trying to build a straw man. I have no interest it claiming global cooling, nor a coming ice age. You're just trying to invent an argument.

  • It was a question. Do you believe that the 30 year period you cited for some reason, is evidence of something? Did you just mention it for fun? Has it some pertinence? The fact remains, Global Warming is happening, it's man-made, and no scientist of any standing has dissented since 2007. Do you believe in Global Warming, or not, simple question? Don't hem and haw, it just wastes time.

  • >Do you believe that the 30 year period... is evidence of something?

We were talking about trends. We trended down nearly 40 years from about 1940. We trended up from the late 70's thru the end of the century. We've trended slightly down this decade [t i n y u r l . c o m slash decadeTempTrend] We trended up for the 20th century as a whole. but this is not surprising (certainly it was welcome) after being stuck in the coldest period in millennia for a few hundred years

  • >the 30 year period you cited for some reason...

    >Did you just mention it for fun? Has it some pertinence?

I went back and read my original message. The context was extremely clear. I can't believe you're honestly confused with my intentions for mentioning it. Maybe you simply forgot what I said--please read it again.

    >no scientist of any standing has dissented since 2007

It's hard to take you seriously when you repeat this bit of insanity over and over.

  • >Do you believe in Global Warming

You mean significant and dangerous anthropomorphic global warming. Nope. Man's contribution is tiny--I'm backed by actual measurements on this. Not models of the future that have been spectacularly wrong to date.

  • LOL! Just as we thought, you're nuts! So long, keep at the comedy, it's very funny!

  • >LOL! Just as we thought, you're nuts!

As usual, those without a decent argument stoop to personal attacks--no need to be that way my friend. Neither of our opinions is going to change the world.

However, it's troubling that you keep claiming that "And, since 2007, THERE IS NO SCIENTIST OF ANY STANDING OR REPUTE WHO HAS DISSENTED ON THE REALITY OF GLOBAL WARMING." Clearly, you only read heavily biased websites if you think this is true, and little of actual scientific studies.

  • Sure thing, or, when crazy people say crazy things, non-crazy people walk away. Global Warming is Man-Made, and, is occurring despite you or this idiotic video. Preach to someone else. In our honest opinion, anyone who alleges or attempts to dismiss Global Warming isn't happening, in the way you have, without a shred of proof or any credible evidence of any kind, and counter to the entire credible scientific community, has some serious issues. Nice talking to you and good luck in your endeavors.

  • >without a shred of proof or any credible evidence of any kind

A simple test: You've said, repeatedly, that there haven't been any scientists of standing that have disagreed with AGW since 2007. You can attempt to prove that, and I can attempt to disprove it, ok?

Since you like the IPCC, why don't I just stick with scientists that worked on the IPCC reports. These guys were chosen by the IPCC, so must be in good standing, right?

I'll list in another message (out of space here)...

  • >since 2007, THERE IS NO SCIENTIST OF ANY STANDING...

IPCC scientists that clearly dissent, post-2007:

    Madhav Khandekar (interview, July 2009)

John Christy (ipcc lead author, been dissenting for years, continues)

    Tom Tripp (speaker, July 2009)

Kiminori Itoh (guest weblog, June 2008)

I can go on, but that's enough to shoot down your thesis--and it's dinner time.

    It's your turn--prove your thesis.

  • LOL!Madhav Khandekar

Listed as Allied Expert Canadian group (NRSP) a lobby organization that refuses to disclose its funding sources.

John Christy: "It is scientifically inconceivable that after changing forests into cities, turning millions of acres into irrigated farmland, putting massive quantities of soot and dust into the air, and putting extra greenhouse gases into the air, that the natural course of climate has not changed in some way."

    Check Mate!

  • >Check Mate!

LOL--you fell right into my trap. Thank you! You discredited the IPCC--I thought you liked them? So now you're saying that they pick scientists who aren't in good "standing" (as you put it)? Did they just err in picked the scientists that disagree with you? Or could they possible have picked "bad" scientists who agree with you? I think I know your answer--the IPCC is infallible except in some cases they've picked horrible human beings the disagree with you!

  • >citing people off Wikipedia without examining

    I didn't consult wikipedia.

    >Again, there are no scientists of global standing who dissent after 2007 , NONE!

I thought you said it was 96% (a number you can't possibly back up)--that would mean 4% dissent--what happened to them? Oh, I know--it's the wackos, right?

    >Incidentally, you only cited 1 IPCC scientist... 2 of which are in agreement on Global Warming, 1 is skeptical...

Malformed sentence--don't know what you're saying.

  • >We'll go with NASA's Hansen and the other 96% of credible scientists who agree with reality.

BTW, even Hansen is dead set against what the US government is trying to pass to remedy "climate change"--carbon trading.

But the "96% of credible scientists" (credible by *your* judgement no doubt). You couldn't back up your assertion of no scientists "of standing" dissenting since 2007--care to take a shot at this one? It should be easy--give us *any* kind of metric that back up your 96%. LOL

  • >EVER HEAR OF CAUSE AND EFFECT?

Not need to shout. What's your point? Effect does not imply the cause. The number of television viewers of sporting events increased throughout the past century, rising rapidly in the 1980's and on (satellite, cable). It didn't not cause warming, even though they appear to have a relationship when you plot them.

  • Hansen is not a credible scientist. He takes the raw data and adjusts it for "cooling bias". The data shows cooling, Hansen turns it into warming. Just google James Hansen, tampering. Yes it's all true and he admits to the tampering.

  • >There isn't a single credible scientist who discounts Global Warming, not one.

You're either horribly isolated, or your definition of "credible" is that they agree with AGW. That's an absurd statement.

  • Sure thing. And an oven doesn't get hot when you turn it on. Ignorance is good, it gives contrast to correct views. Where do you live, a cave?

  • >Ignorance is good... Where do you live, a cave?

Don't been a tool. GISS, Hadley, UAH, and RSS data are available freely on the web. Need a link? You say 2009 will be the hottest in the last 150 years. Wow. Pretty far from reality. Here's the acid test: tell us where you got your data. They don't have 2009 summary yet, of course, but here's 2008 from data . giss . nasa . gov: Calendar year 2008 was the coolest year since 2000, according to the Goddard Institute for Space Studies analysis...

  • Yes, it's true that there are some areas that are anomalous, but many high temperatures have been shattered worldwide, like Seattle, Arizona, Australia, Gibraltar, the list goes on. When water boils violently it displaces air, some cool, some hot, but it swirls violently. The tiny areas of unusual cold we are experiencing from the activity are far outweighed by the heat records we are breaking, by many degrees, not tenths as is typical. No, there is going to be a change soon. Sun spots are low.

  • >Yes, it's true that there are some areas that are anomalous

I think you've got it backwards, my friend--this has been a relatively cool year overall, with heat being the anomaly.

    >but many high temperatures have been shattered worldwide

Low ones too. Not enough space to go into the math here, but the nature of how temperature is monitored/reported ensures we'll continue to have record cold and record heat readings. If you'd like, I can explain why, in new post (already out of space!).

  • Sun spots are very low right now, and for the next two years, by active modeling, but in two years, ALL predictions lead towards a VAST change. We're not climatologists, so truly, we are just expressing our opinion, nobody will know until it occurs. But, we are betting the majority of scientists are correct, and that man is contributing in leaps and bounds to the abnormal and advanced heating of Our Earth. Great comeback by the way! Be Well!

  • Don't you just love the way these "Cult of Gaia" shills here on youtube use the word"Dissent"?

As in:"NO SCIENTIST OF ANY STANDING OR REPUTE HAS DISSENTED."

Thier own terminology incriminates them best don't you think?

The word"dissent" really highlights thier dictatorial persausions.

Remember Chaiman Mao's "purging the dissenters"?

  • >Don't you just love the way these "Cult of Gaia" shills here on youtube use the word"Dissent"?

"Cult of Gaia"--lol, well put. Speaking of cults, if there was any doubt that the poster you are referring to is prone to, um, "hyperbole", check out his youtube page, where he tells us this about Republicans:

"THEY ARE A CULT SIZED MINORITY NOW"

  • Hey ecofreaks wake up! You are members of the worst cult ever to cumber this ole Earth.

  • Another politicalized global-warming documentary. Really, everyone should spend time personally investigating (from the source) what official and proffessional organizations and scientific papers say. Whatever the truth is, this subject is way to important to leave up to politicians.

  • I heard the final version will be released around september 15th.....just before the Senate takes up that horrible waxman markey bill

  • colonelbeats - As usual, when the left has nothing left they criticize and ridicule like spoiled children. Veruca Salt - "I want it NOW!"

  • It amazes me that ecofreaks have managed to fool the public repeatedly and continuously, but it really shouldn't be a surprise - lefties have been fooling the world for almost 100 years with the same lies. I feel like David Brent being pushed out of the office - Fight it!

  • Great video! I cant wait to see the final product. People need to know that this cap and tax scam is all pain no gain!

  • Slowly but surely, the massive glacier of real science moves forward, inch by painful inch; when it knocks down the worm-infested door of the natural climate change deniers, victory will be at hand... In 50 years or so... LOL

  • Excellent. Expectations high.

  • Can't wait to see Climate Chains!
