in my opinion this movie isnt too scary i mean it had a few freaking scary scenes but over all it wasnt that scary. this movie just hits you in the face ith the scares and most of them are only "jump" scares. lake mungo is different. lake mungo builds up on tension throughout and gets scarier and scarier. alices cell phone footage from lake mungo had me clenching my seat in the theatres. and its not easy to scare me like that.

I saw Paranormal activity at the same theater and it was crappy crappity crap crap.  It's a great horror movie for people who have never seen great horror movies. If you suffer through the bad acting all the way to the end you will be rewarded with a predictable minute long ending that isn't scary at all. There are a couple of good ideas but their full potential is never realized.

I just saw this movie and I laughed my ass off. I thought it was pretty stupid. Creepy, yes but the movie was very slow for me. I felt like it took 40 mins foer anything to happen, and even then it had a slow pace, and it was just dull at moments. It had humor and stuff that that didn't seem funny, I laughed...I don't think it is nearly as scary as everyone else keeps saying. i did not hate it, but it was not the best movie....now Jennifers Body!
