and i've noticed that in the mounted battles where you just leave your cav on charge mode (instead of pulling them out by ordering them to follow), you suffer much fewer casualties.
@TheMahjohng Might be. In real world, stopped horse would be killed in an instant and the rider would be crushed or otherwise killed when on the ground, but in M&B no-one targets the horse - they are just hit in an accident. Meanwhile, the knight can keep whacking from above with a sword. I like the more "realistic" tactic, even that it's not the best in-game :)
@TheZemalf haha i love your attitude :P making it more realistic does make it more interesting but all the more harder for you lol. but yeah great let's play.
you know in some previous mounted battles where you've set your cav to follow and then you charge through their lines and then call your cav to follow you again. don't you think some of your cav get killed at that point? because say 90% of your cav pull out but those 10% get stuck and mobbed without any support whereas if you just left them to charge, they couldn't get mobbed so easily as there would always be constant support from other cav.
When do you start your own kingdom? With 50 right to rule ... or spontanious (don´t know the correct word)?
And bye the way, since you are mostly fighting (mounted) with the sword, i would increase the party skills till you get the +1 bonus for the important ones. Dont invest more points in horse-archery please. See you fighting with the sword, using the bow only for backup when mounted, is very interesting. There are too much horse-archery let´s plays ;-)
@PaXeR83 I'll get kingdom started when the time is right, but I don't know when that'll be just yet. I'd love to see Violet with a town before that, or at least another castle, but we'll see
Increase your Horse Archery skill! It could be much better and will prove beneficial to you in battle when you find it hard to snipe routing units. :p
