@mattcottom50 nope the band name is If These Trees Could Talk and the song name is Deus Ex Machina trust me on this. I know the band personally. they are from my home town. and i am really good friends with the whole band!
This is why you people that are in high school you always need to keep in mind i may never see these people again in my life. all football players its amazing. No matter if u win or lose you are there with your brothers. when you go home there is only one person looking back at you ask that person did i give it all oi had and for a worthy cause? All the seniors out there if you're just slacking off and not paying attention to life as it passes you the world will kick your ass.
@mtownpirates51 yes they won, you can see the ring on Vince's finger and also Luke gives his ring to Becky when he gets on the bus. Those are the champ rings.
I admit that was the best ending in any football game drama! U were so emotional at that pass and then u never know if they won or lost until a few minutes later when they did a close up on Vinces hands with his State champ ring on his finger. Yo, I was about to cry like a bitch and I'm 32 years old!
I was actually there during the making of this. It was very enjoyable to be able to take part in it. FNL was truly a great series. Oh, and the QB for the 'Hawks' was a beast. He could throw the ball from behind his back 40+ yards. :P

holy smokes, word cannot express how much i love this scene, this episode, this show. i loved the fact that there was no need for any sports commentary during the game, just everyone's faces and the music (which by the way may or may not have caused a few tear ducts to work overtime). oh fnl, i could wax lyrical about you all day and night, but i think i'll just temporarily suspend this little lovefest with dillon and its people by saying simply this: thank you.
The most beautiful six minutes i've ever seen in television history. Watching the end of the series is like witnessing mozart's final breath. This show will forever live in our hearts and enjoyed by generations to come
Truly inceridble, touching, and realistic. Personaly, favorite show of all time, and also tops the majority of movies too. I love it. This show will go down in history... Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
the story, the actors, the setting, the town, the game, the music..... these and more made this show unforgettable... i feel a deep sense of melancholy now that FNL has ended. thank you for making one of the most heartfelt TV series of all time. not an easy thing to say, but, goodbye Friday Night Lights. thank you.
the music is always perfect

The part where the receivers are running downfield, for the "Hail Mary" pass, is beautifully shot.
