An AU story that takes place in the future, Batman's robin was a young red-headed girl named Carrie Kelly who wore a green visor. Much like this young Robin (although this version appears to be Batman's daughter as opposed to just some random kid).

@eleonorarondags Neither Tim nor Damian is blonde. However, BaTB's version of Damian is more based on the character of "Bruce Wayne Jr." from the 60s comics, who was blonde. He existed, like this episode, only in the Bat-fanfiction written by Alfred in his spare time, and was paired off with a grown-up Dick as Batman. Morrison's DickBats and Damian stories were loosely inspired by those tales.

Luckily however Batman's story was the only one left unchanged. They just wiped out the last couple of years so Batman could go back to basics. In Gotham as one and one Batman alone, leading the regular members of the Bat-family. Year One, Killing Joke, HUSH, Long Halloween, Death In The Family, all that good stuff is still a part of his background.

Bruce does come back to be Batman. He makes his way through time and returns. However he goes global to start an organization based around different Batmen all over the world. So he travels the globe as an international Batman training new ones all over the world. Dick stays in Gotham and continues to serve as it's Batman. This story is where the comic last left off until the new 52 reboot, which restarted the stories of all characters.

the last part was kinda cool when the crooks robbed Gotham bank and left with an explosive exit while the camera pans to the top of a tower with Damien as Batman stands ready. this was reminiscent of the original opening scene of Batman TOS (retaining only the first few secs and last few secs of the TOS intro)
