Sounds a little dry without the backing music. Try using a compression/sustainer box. Boss Roland makes them. I did enjoy this and made it a favorite. Got to study the chops

Thanks to you and others for the comments. I always meant to go back and re-record it, not only because of the lack of backing and the flat tone, but also because the picking and bending does not follow the original accurately enough. One day soon...

Which George Harrison version are you speaking of? The only versions that I know of with Harrison (about 4) have Eric Clapton playing the solo. Including the original White Album Beatles version. The video plays the solo slower than the record and the articulation isn't perfect but it is otherwise the first solo on the original recording of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

he's talking about the original acoustic demo recorded soley by harrison. but he's wrong in saying that the version on the white album is "clapton's version". . .harrison wanted clapton to play lead.
