The only naturalized vehicles they have are a few trucks and chassises, a 14.5mm MG, and a single heavy antiaircraft gun from the 50s.

I am not sure if I see the point of this.

It definitely would not be able to keep up with the armored forces it is suppose to protect due to it's poor all terrain abilities. It should only really be used to stop mortar & rocket attacks.

It kind of reminds me of the US Centurion which uses the Phalanx.

Might be a mobile battlefield command and control station protected with a rotary gun.

Usually battlefield command and control stations are unprotected and need to be escorted with anti air defenses and infantry fighting vehicles.

Certainly the size of the box behind the gun is huge and has something.
