  • Did anybody else hear the burp at the very beginning?

  • David Haye sent me here

  • the begining music is from rosterteeth :D

  • can this be what breaking bad uses? just that they might put it blue color? cuz it seems like it.

  • Hey, cool video. Nice tut and nice animations ;-)

  • Are the Cups of Water 2 Litres?

  • @firehawk333 250 milliliters

  • do you heat it to 300 degrees c or f ? does that make sense?

  • @flamingskullsairsoft I think f. ;o)

  • @beatdownboogie cheers man :) you saved me alot of hassle

  • @flamingskullsairsoft 300c would be fuckin hot

  • @flamingskullsairsoft 300 C would be freakin insanity so i assume it's 300 degrees F lol

  • Wat r we gonna do today? This son!!!!!!!!

  • Would a clay mold hold up with this? Or do you think the sugar solution will be too hot?

  • u guys are funny!

  • can u eat it ?

  • :16 Andrew cumstock?

  • It looks a bit yellow...

  • @JosephMusicOfficial It's rarely noticeable on film!

  • this is a copy if indy mogul

  • andrew looks like mike white

  • @MilesDarnellJones and is an mixture of shamWow guy and mike white xD

  • i ate this. its like sugar :3 *tries to posion pepole*

  • okay this video really help me in ways but i need to ask an important question im making a model house and i wanted use sugar glass i have all the ingredients to make sugar glass except cream of tartar is their a substitute i can use of some sort please respond or if anyone else knows can you tell me please .....

  • @pgnrulez101 if you don't keep the glass in a fridge, after a while it melts

  • could i eat this?

  • Well ima try making a bong now

  • @vince03110

you inspired me to make one

  • just wondering, could you make a bong out of this?

  • how long will it last?

  • coooool i just made that and it was awesome

  • Your intro is the same music as TmarTn uses.

  • I would make it just to lick it in front of everyone for no reason.

  • Only one question... is it edible ?

  • @KZY117 Yes this is edible, corn syrup is nothing more than corn sugar in syrup form, cream of tartar is added to prevent crystalization so it turns out smooth. It's like rock candy but beware of sharp edges, sugar can be a lot more like glass than just looks in it's hardened form.

  • According to Breaking Bad, this is almost exactly how you make crystal meth. More or less.

  • can you see through sugar glass?

  • why candy thermometer??

  • @Jkemy1 Candy thermometers are made to go to extreme temperatures that other thermometers can't. It's made for liquids so you dont get the metallic taste or shatter your thermometer.

  • @Krysteny24 thanks =)

  • i MADE SOME, HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

  • @thesmexyzero Since it's basically a hard candy, about 1 month if properly sealed air-tight.

  • If it's made of sugar, then can I eat it?

  • does some one know does i have to use that tar tar thing and does it have to be corn suryp

  • We don't have corn syrup in the uk:/ anybody recommend a equivilant??

  • can i eat this?

  • This, Son !

    *bling* AHHHHOUCHHHHH

    - Oh ... Well wrong glass

  • I love when Andrew goes "THIS, SON!"

  • i am trying this right now but the tempreture is not going past 221 degrees help

  • @dcw234 Increase the stove setting.

  • Can you eat it?

  • can i put stuff on it like a tray without it breaking. because i want to make a glass tray out of it and then once i get everything off bash it on someones head =]

  • will this effect work if using as large sheets to imitate stained glass like in cathedrals?

  • can you eat it

  • I've found recipes calling for only a 1/4 tsp. of cream of tartar, don't know if it makes a big difference or not. And I've noticed if you heat it too rapidly, it'll make the color turn out yellowish or brownish. Try turning the stove down, but bear in mind that it will take longer to boil. Also try lowering your max temp of 300*F to around 280-285*F you'll get a little bit lighter color. Mind you this takes a little guess work to get the "perfect" glass, so YMMV.

  • wait does he do ghost's voice?

  • Very good and informative

  • Will it blend?

  • One Question? Is it edible?

  • yes

  • So far I've tried this thrice, each time using all the designated ingredients in their proper amounts and with my stove on medium. Yet each time at around 200-250 degrees F, my mixture turns a sort of beer-bottle brown and doesn't bubble as much as shown in the video. The temperature tops out at around 280, and I end up with sticky brown glass when I finally pour. Please, what the heck am I doing wrong?

  • degrees celsius or fahrenheit?

  • @r4sh89 hahah Fahrenheit ofc !!!

  • can i eat it?

  • do you really need a candy thermometer

  • karamela

  • Can I eat it?

  • @lyric142 yeah but it will be sharp and hard!

  • @OatmealForEver1 I still wanna eat it. XD

  • what is the song in the background?

  • You're just copying IndyMogul!

  • Did you try to mix it with a little bit of MnO2 to decolorate it?

  • Cool:D

  • @VBUserNet It's 2:40 dumbass

  • WAIT! I meant 2:35!!!!

  • pause at 2:42 It looks like he's holding a Joint and just got done smoking

  • 3:30 a killer

  • ok. i did the glass acording to them, though i did half the requirements to test it out. here are some tips that you might find useful.

1.NEVER LET THE MIXTURE GO PAST 300!-the mix. that i did , which is half the original, started turning yellow by 287. so if you want the glass to be clear, take it out by 250-270 your choice.

2.make sure the airway is cleared before you make the glass-have the mold ready.

3get wire brushes-the stuff is very hard to take off so the wire brushes will help you out

  • Can you eat?

  • @bugface92 yes you can. it tastes like cotton candy almost.

  • I guess you waited too long to take it off the stove?

  • very-good-and-creative-:)

  • But will it blend?

  • is the cream of tartar necessary? Can you make it without it?

  • is it eatable?

  • will it always come out yellow, because I am looking for more of a clear style?

  • @dilwit We never got it very clear. However, I have seen people put food coloring in to make it look like green or brown glass.

  • @beatdownboogie my mother used to make jell-os with 3d art in them and they would come out yellowish. so she added citric acid and that took care of all the colors. im sure citric acid could make your glass clear.

  • @beatdownboogie u can buy some clear white couring and that makes it a bright white

    if thats any help

  • @dilwit if you want something that's clear as glass you should use a type of sugar called isomalt. you only need to melt it and mold it, no need for cream of tartar or corn syrup. It is a bit harder to find, but any store specialized in selling baking stuff is gonna have that

  • same here

  • @dilwit you have to cook it slower at a low temp. for it to be clear

  • will it always come out yellow, because I am looking for more of a clear style?

  • I have been boiling the mixture in the last hour but it does not go higher than 210F, and although there is a sugary smell, it is not as dense as in your video. I don't know what is taking so long! Humidity, maybe?

  • @aslinettin Update: OK, it took me around 2.30 hours of boiling! But I got a good result finally! Thanks!

  • @aslinettin No problem, glad it eventually worked out. ;o)

  • How..... Would..... This..... Taste? Lol......

  • Will it blend?

  • That's freaking awesome!!!

  • what else can you use instead of cream of tarter?

  • can change its colour with food colouring like green or the colour of beer bottles

  • @Kristhegamer Yes, I saw someone on youtube add food colouring and it came out really well. I'd recommend trying it.

  • hey, you have the same music as steve spangler, when you describe what you need, whats the music called?

  • @krisstarkey12 Thanks, it's music that came with the editing software. It's called "Roller Derby."

  • @beatdownboogie

    thanks :)

  • PO ILE CUKIER

  • can we eat it

  • when do we add food colouring?

  • where do you get A CANDY THERMOMETER

  • @MyWTFProduction I think you can get them from grocery stores. They are also called deep-fry thermometers. ;o)

  • @beatdownboogie could i get it at walmart?

  • can you eat it? it looks so tastily inviting.!!

  • CCAN YOU EAT IT?

  • @TheTheDanceMusic Yes, but it's not really tasty :/

  • i used citric acid instead of cream of tartar and it worked well

  • @vietnamisalv nice!

  • Is there a way to make the sugar glass clear??

  • @meadorcaleb Incorporate lots of acid(cream of tartar, vinegar, lemon juice)

  • Its called Sugar Pulling in the culinary world. Used to make edible flowers, glass like objects, and neat patterns.

  • @meadorcaleb Cake decorators use Isomalt. You can buy clear Isomalt sticks off ebay. It's not very economical though and it isn't advisable to eat too much of it.

  • @meadorcaleb nope

  • "Be sure to use ovenmits or towels..." Lol You say this as your NOT using them...

  • Household hacker made a copy of this shame on you HHH!

  • @GamingPro101 I dunno. There's a lot of sugar glass tutorials out there. We got the idea from Indy Mogul. ;o) This is our second sugar glass video...we did one years ago that was funny, but we rambled way too much, haha. I think Indy Mogul may have had the first good sugar glass tutorial.

  • And can i EAT this sugar glass?

  • cumstock?

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG??!!?!?!

  • this stuff is like napalm if you get it on your finger when it's hot...

  • Hahah you guys copied house hold hacker, everything you do and say is the same.

  • @Christina1Pham Yes it's the same thing.

  • @Christina1Pham glucos syrup and cornsyrup is the exact same thing diffrent names

  • @S4Technician thanks =)

  • I heard that you use 1/4 cream of tartar

  • @Auslander999 it always felt a bit tacky to us. We've only ever made it 2 or 3 times, so we're no experts.

  • It looks yummy is it edible?
