Controling several smaller territories is easier that manipulating one strong one. I'll believe Human Rights Watch over Michael Parenti,who I consider something of a propagandist.The differences between Nato killing civilians and Serbs killing civilians include scale(perhaps a difference of ten to one in Kosovo,to say nothing of Bosnia) ,intent(most,if not all of the killings of Serb civilians was not deliberate),and motive(NATO was not killing people because of their ethnicity or trying to expel them). I don't support the vengeance on Serbs but there was extreme provocation.
Even the Serb government didn't claim 5000 civilian dead. I believe Human Rights Watch's tally of 500 civilians(not all of them Serb). Serbian military dead were in the thousands according to both Nato and the press. The claim that 99.9 percent of the targets bombed weren't military seems impossible on the face of it,and I would like to know if there is any source for it other than Milosevic and his state controlled media, The vengeance taken on Serbs doesn't wipe out Serb crimes.

Solution for our problems in Serbia is very simple. Allow Russians to build military bases in Nis and Batajnica and have them deploy strategic nuclear warheads to Serbia as a reply to NATO building a missile shield in Poland. Russia regains its strike first capabilities in case a war breaks out and Serbia is assured to never be fucked with by anybody ever again.

Cleansed the Serb and Gypsy populations, not to mention creating a successful free market with human trafficking, while 2/3 of the population are unemployed.

@javabaja They led Yugoslavia into a civil war so it would break into several smaller countries that are somewhat hostile towards each other. Controling several smaller territories is easier that manipulating one strong one. Besides, they would get more money if 6 countries joined NATO instead of one, not to mention that Yugoslavia was pretty neutral and probably wouldn't even join it.

I'll believe Human Rights Watch over Michael Parenti,who I consider something of a propagandist.The differences between Nato killing civilians and Serbs killing civilians include scale(perhaps a difference of ten to one in Kosovo,to say nothing of Bosnia) ,intent(most,if not all of the killings of Serb civilians was not deliberate),and motive(NATO was not killing people because of their ethnicity or trying to expel them). I don't support the vengeance on Serbs but there was extreme provocation.

Even the Serb government didn't claim 5000 civilian dead. I believe Human Rights Watch's tally of 500 civilians(not all of them Serb). Serbian military dead were in the thousands according to both Nato and the press. The claim that 99.9 percent of the targets bombed weren't military seems impossible on the face of it,and I would like to know if there is any source for it other than Milosevic and his state controlled media, The vengeance taken on Serbs doesn't wipe out Serb crimes.

@MrAcarine: The original claim was 2500 dead, but other inependent sources including Michael Parenti confirmed 5000 civilians dead, and true not all of them Serbs but innocent civilians nonetheless. Serbian military dead was less than 500, most of whom were killed when NATO bombed a military hospital. Newsweek in 1999 confirmed that only 14 Serbian tanks (NATO claimed 120), 18 APCs (NATO claimed 220), and 20 pieces of artillery (NATO claimed 450) were destroyed in 3 months.

Solution for our problems in Serbia is very simple. Allow Russians to build military bases in Nis and Batajnica and have them deploy strategic nuclear warheads to Serbia as a reply to NATO building a missile shield in Poland. Russia regains its strike first capabilities in case a war breaks out and Serbia is assured to never be fucked with by anybody ever again.

@MrAcarine: The fact that the Serbian Army suffered only minor losses from NATO airstrikes. 99.9% of the military targets they bombed were dummy targets. In the meantime schools, bridges, powerplants, hospitals, homes, factories were bombed indiscriminately which killed 5,000+ Serbian civilians. Look what the KLA has done in Kosovo. Cleansed the Serb and Gypsy populations, not to mention creating a successful free market with human trafficking, while 2/3 of the population are unemployed.

mir ljudi ... mi smo svi jedan narod , a da imamo malo mozga bilo bi smo najjaca svetska sila samo da smo ujedinjeni,ali sada je doso takav rezim jebiga ... svako gleda za dobroit svoga dupeta :(
