hehe that's cute...if my dachshund is burying something and he doesn't know I'm watching, when he turns around and sees me, he will go dig it back up and wait until i'm not watching, then he'll put it either back in the same place or somewhere else....as long as i'm not watching lol

I have a dachshund too and I like to watch him think of a place to bury his rawhide or bone or whatever and sometimes he changes his mind and walks around with it in his mouth trying to decide where else he should put it. i have two who love to hide their treats under blankets and such. i usually join in the fun by hiding their treats under things in plain sight. it's amazing what such great memories they have! they would remember exactly where it is even after days from hiding it themselves.
