you know, when i watch the life story of efren i was totally amaze and believe to his advocacy. He is a real hero.. While i am watching his story i am into teary ed.. Because I feel the sincerity to help people from some areas who are from squatters. It's not easy of what he did.

Efren is the real hero! How many 16 year old teens will think of helping poor children with their education by bringing the books and food to them to learn? Our society misplaced values when it comes to the idolization of people we deem to be heroes. We put individuals on pedestals then worshiped because they are the best baseball stars, singers, entertainers, movie stars, the rich, the successful and the powerful. This country should start recognizing unsung heroes before CNN hears about them.

Don't get me wrong. Pacquiao is unique. He was poor and he brought this country to fame internationally with his skills in boxing. With his winnings, he didn't stop there. He donated medical equipment and funded his own foundations.The point is, our government gave him an award for being the world's best boxer. I don't think I heard him receive his award for helping the poor.What about those doctors, nurses, teachers who offered their services for nothing to help others? Never recognized!
