Unless there is a possibility of artificial limbs, somebody please release this poor creature. I have two cats who I love very much, and I would not want to see them like this. It breaks my heart to see this animal being kept alive, it seems almost cruel to it. I know that the vet's heart is in the right place, but this is no way for a cat to live. I disagree completely. We own 3 cats and I've had cats growing up and have seen them in all sorts of conditions. And I can tell you this, they are like any other living creature...they have a strong desire and instinct to live.

Will all other elements of her life functioning normally, there is ZERO reason or need to simply "put her down", why not just say "kill her" or murder her?

And to finish, as an owner of several cats over the years I can tell you that they all have a full range of emotions. It takes a bit more patience to see, but they all experience happiness and sadness and fear. They can be protective and sensitive and affectionate.

They are not simple, non-thinking animals that some (too many) think of them as. So whenever one can be brought back to health and found a caring home...they deserve it!

how cruel, not the dogs for chasing her, but the veterinarian that actually thought living with no legs would be a better life for a cat, than putting it down. When an animal is run over, and has some broken ribs, you dont nurse it back to have a second rate life, you do the humane thing, and let it go. Also, i've had a German Sheppard for 15+years so i'm not just an a-hole who hates animals
