I've started a ton of horses and no way did you just 'jump on' you went nice and slow. I perfer to leanr over the horse and have someone lead for about the first 5 rides but everyone is differant and you did nothing wrong! all horses are differant too. I saddle trained one mare and it was like she had been born with a rider, yet another mare gets very tense and you need to go VERY slow with her at first till she relaxes. both mares were raised in abusive and neglectful homes!
Actually everyone is very experienced, also i dont think there are many riders that could have sat that. He also didnt 'just jump on a horse like that ' . I you had watched the other video of this horse you would have seen that he was in fact been backed before.
ehh from what ive learned your not supposed to just jump on a horse like that and a TB aswell could of been a serious accident with an inexperienced rider like that sorry but thats just my opinion
