I just posted a video of a dryer that almost burnt up. It burnt up at the plug. There was lint in the plug!!

Should be rely for house-fixture with vent-air including laundry-room. That will be safe air-out condition of cool down the dryer well. Is lucky, being something block of air-out is possible heat up over-range of the degrees. That will case of fire!!!

My dryer has no hose, just rigid pipe, and the lint filter was newly cleaned. But recently, I smelled smoke. When I opened the door, there was a small flame coming out of the grill where the heated air enters the dryer, it was easy to extinguish. It must have been dust the built up in the air intake burning. It might have burned itself out if I hadn't noticed it (the clothes were wet), but that's a not much comfort. Unfortunately, you have to take apart the dryer to clean this area.
