There is a rumor that Siren3 will be sold in 2010 and game creators saying that they are thinking of putting this special making movie and interview to Siren3. But I think they won't remake Siren1 like this special edition.

This version is not sold in Japan. They planned to sell it, but for some reason, they gave up selling this. The difference between this and normal is

1. There is Easy mode

2. There is Extra Hard mode ( You can't "sight jack" ( I don't know the real name in English,sorry), you can't see enemy, enemy's walking speed is fast and so on.

3. There is a movie explaining how this game is made.

4. You can see the actor of the character.

5. You can see a hint to clear scenario.

Siren is one of the best survival horror games ever, Keiichiro Toyama is very good in making such games, I can`t believe Siren and Silent hill were created by him !! he`s just genius. About this special edition where can I get it from ? and what`s the difference beween this one and the original one?

Seems like the Siren games are really popular in Japan.

The Siren games are the best and scariest horror games i have ever played and its really underrated here in the west and deserves more attention.

Im trying to beat the second game right now.

I hope the new game on the ps3 will become much more popular. :)

I have Forbidden Siren 2 (bought it on eBay, cuz the US isnt gonna get any of the games anytime soon) and I had the same problem....i think you need to buy a modchip and install it, otherwise, you can't play Siren Special Edition....but I need to find a modchip! =P

lol, it really doesnt matter, since modchips were created to bypass regional codes AND allow users to play burned games....now where to find them is where I cant help you out, amigo.....I myself am loking for one....best of luck, though! If I find one, I'll let you know!
