  • haha its funny cuz soon, they wont have enough money to build all of this

  • @ArturOtter Just jealous because wherever you live can't afford this.

  • @rlmorgan95 umm no. united states has skyscrapers. United Arab Emirates economy is basically only oil and. Since oil and gas are getting used less and less now, someone is going to find more efficient and eco friendly energy for cars and everything else and since United Arab Emirates' economy basically all oil and gasoline, they will lose money.

I can't wait to move back there once I have enough work experience. It's beautiful and but wow is it going to get even better! Amazing!

    I love UAE!!!

  • what is the music ? please let someone tell me ;)

  • مشكور و ما قصرت ..

    Thanks

  • who is the financier of this project? is it Ferrari corporation?

  • One thing i hate about money is that it's slowing down the process of robots, new spacecrafts and modern technology.

  • I hope that it will be like this, the UAE is progressing, and it is a "country of the future." If someone wants to see the future, let go in the UAE!!

    Greetings from Serbia ...

  • I don't understand these people, the only thing they're doning with their money is to pay the westerns architecture to build buildings for them. they need to investe their money elsewhere, other than buliding. WHAT A WASTE OF MONY AND THE WORST IS THAT, THEIR CITIZEN DON'T APPROVE IT.

  • @SomdoouuunISMforever dude you have no idea what your talking about, abu dhabi is developing at a nice rate and is all for the comfort of its people, they learn from the mistakes of dubai

abu dhabi is a wonderful place

  • Revamsemak, Abu Dhabi is rich, it can afford to build the city seen on the video.

  • I have a question. Where are the governments going to get the money to build all these big projects?

Oh I know! The tax payers

  • Hopefully Arabs can keep it up

  • STEPHEN CARL MURPHY

  • @stephencarlmurphy1 um..what's the purpose in posting your name?

  • Dubai has tourism now, Abu Dhabi has clever business strategy.

  • abu dhabi has the fastest roller coaster under construction. cant wait for it to open, not that i'm going to be able to ride it 7000 miles away

  • Very beautiful I love it...

  • tight beat...nice yo!!!

  • "sand for sale... anyone?"

  • So clever...NOT! You couldn't afford a kiddy's spade-full anyway, Poor Boy!

  • No it isn't prat. It's all a game played with the international banks. Check it out with a little research - the 'bail out' was between members of the same family who have cross-invested and loaned for decades.

  • The UAE isnt out of money , Dubai city is.

Abu dhabi, the capital, is richest city in the world with a lil bit of more than a million population.

  • ok wow, this is tight. we have the engineering to build these buildings. and not a waste of money. instead of expanding outwards, why not go up. and besides most of these projects have already started construction.

  • what a waste of oil money.....

  • for building a city, it is necessary to create employ then wich will require a big city in their turn , no judt a mega city who look like an empty shell.

  • Dude. Holy shit. We don't even have the engineering potential to make half of that.

  • Pathetic? Materialism? Greede Arabs? You guys are stupid and jealous Idiots! and let me add ignorant!

Without getting into talking politics (impossible with ingnorants)

It's simple.....This country is planning for the Future, the Oil is going to finish, and they are building a Touristic industry, maybe too beautiful for the Ignorants like you. The prices of the hotels are even cheaper than in the USA. So maybe "some" of you, are just jealous.

And still very ignorant. Ha Ha

  • Spot on Mate. They are just little people who don't even bother to get a passport. Bet they have high foreheads, big teeth and prominent ears!

  • Exactly!

And why would the need a passport?

It's obvious that they don't travel, their longer trips are to the 7Eleven! ha ha!

  • so awesome, if i turn out good stundent in university , i want to an architect , i hope i will and make building unforgettable

  • a balance is needed and not greedyu self ego deterministics who strip the world of its bounties for miseries to fall on others

  • materialism at its finest

    deception of dajjal

  • Sure lets stop all progress in the world because its materialistic. Why do live in a progressive country? because materialism works better than socialism and religious societies.

  • Materialism does not work better than socialism. First of all socialism never was implemented right... Progress does not necessarily mean materialism. We would have much higher progress in socialism. It is because MOST of the recourses and knowledge are used to make the capitalism machine working, not to make actual progress.

  • Same thing can be said about materialism. It is never implemented in it completeness. Every society is a mixture of different philosophies. I replied to the above user who had problems with materialism so they implied that its "Dajjal's Deception". I understand that this person is misguided by naive concepts. These buildings are not "Dajjal's Deception, they represent an evolution in human progress and our ability to surpass great challenges. It is an architectural and engineering marvel.

  • ya, dubai is growing faster into a materialistic society.

  • the vision of Iran getting the nuke and turning that part of the world into glass ...its more close to reality ...have fun till will last ...UAE became the little Satan of the middle east ..ironic..all build up and beautiful and ready for a 200 kilotons ...of course in the name of ALLAH ...

  • Money is really a flaw to humanity. People are ready to do anything for dollars, euros whatever they can have. Observate a little bit and you will see what i mean. But we have the "power" of lying, thus making us and others think it's normal to have such a behaviour. And rich and powerfull men do nothing to change mentalities, as long as they have they're big little income, they are happy. Cool. We should all go and leave only our scientifical knowledge to the future intelligent race.

  • the midle east is a blessed land by God and everybody knows it everything started overthere!!

  • absolutly agree,...

  • can you do a video all about freedom tower

  • No oil in the future, arabs will become desert wanderers again. Hey at least you still have camels

  • Saudis spending over 400 billion for diversification of the economy...check the Saudi economic cities..Dubai barely has oil, they generate their income from tourism, investments, building and operating ports, realestate both inside and outside the UAE, Egypt doesn't export oil, Qatar and Bahrain are just beginning to export LNG and CNG and Kuwait doesn't account for even 1% of the Arab population...so even without oil they'd be just fine...

  • ges talking about gulf arabs. arabs from syria and lebanon dont need oil. but gulf arabs are lazy shits.

  • absolutely agree ....

  • your genetics have too much jealousy, miserable people.. you are frustrated that we gave you names like David, Paul, John... hehe your are really sad and pathetic.

  • i laugh at em because the money their using to funds these buildins come from the oil sales, and once the oil dries up or we stop usin it, dubai is gonna go bankrupt in a heartbeat

  • there not going to run out for a while, and thats why they are doing this, because the king knows he will run out of oil so he decided to use tourisum to power his country instead of the oil

  • there is no plan to industralize dubai or make it produce anything other then financing/investment and tourism. dubai is not a country and dubai doesnt have oil, dubai is one of 7 states that form the united arab emirates, abu dhabi is the capital city and it holds 97% of all oil reserves in the country and its the central goverment. also abu dhabi is the first in the world to develop 0 carbon emission city (masdar intiative) - holding a capacity of 50000 people and it runs by solar en. and wind

  • all industralization is happining in dubai neighboring cities like ajman, ras alkhaima, and abu dhabi, abu dhabi is giving out subsidies of up to 10million dollars for uae locals who come forward with a business plan and study of any type of goods (manufacturing) so people are geting lands and businesses and are made rich all with help of Gov unlike some other places i have in mind. i would say distribution of wealth in UAE is best in the world.

  • in other words they use the oil money now to build the country for future generations. and make it undependable on oil.

  • ماشاء الله شكرا على التعريف المشوق لعمل زيارة واحدة على الاقل. سلام

  • Nice rhythm to the music. Abu Dhabi is doing some decent things but their neighbor Dubai steals all of the attention because everything they build has to set a world record.

  • It´s amazing man..this is the future...

  • naaa i will be movin soon to new york city now thats gonna be cool

  • yeah 1:28 really gud

  • 1:28 - amazing picture. :]

  • From desert to what appears to be a tropical rain forest. It's amazing what humans can do to entire landscapes.

  • Lol, they are spending a shitload on this I wonder how much money they expect to get back from tourism on it's own?

They are targeting the Ultra rich i guess. But how many "Ultra rich" people are there? Enough to keep this place alive and pay for all these mega projects?

    Hmmm...

  • im moving to Dubai in 6 months

  • great, it aint really nice, just full of super cars

  • i am from abu dhabi yay me

  • go go go abudhabi...i want you to surprass dubai and you should make your city more beautiful than dubai

  • It's one of the fastest growing metropolis in the world. Well, with regards to architecture, design and Urban planning. My apologies. It lacks substance and deep thought. Too fast too soon. These are the problems that needs to be addressed. Transport, carparks and housing. These are the basics. Everythin in this city is focused on aesthetics. There are remedies but I know it requires time money and effort. But will see whats in store for AD I know the government has great plans for Abu Dhabi.

  • you talk as if u know everything... these poeple are experts at city planning they have tought about these aspects way before you have kid stfu and enjoy those sexy structures

  • hopefully when palestine is free, our main cities will look as successful as UAE.

  • @scarab08 i hope to god that it will be free soon and that the israelis find some other place to stay

  • @scarab08 When palestine accepts a peace agreement for once, its certainly possible!

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX I cannot count the number of times the Palestinians have compromised and are still compromising . To look at the results of compromise, look at the map of west bank from 1967 till now, you can well see, who is on the receiving end of the compromise

  • @okiey87 What in God's name are you talking about....I used to live in Israel and was WELL aware of the type of peace deals that were put on the table including ones that made HUGE compromises with the Palestinians.......to say Palestine isn't free is actually correct thought, because of the Death grip HAMAS has on you.

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX , you live in your own world. DO YOU SEE THE SHRINKING MAP OF THE WEST BANK. DO YOU SEE PALESTINIAN VILLAGES DISSAPEARING TO FORM JEWISH SETTLEMENTS? WHY IS ISRAEL BUILDING THESE SETTLEMENTS IN WEST BANK WHEN IT KNOWS WHAT THE BORDERS ARE?

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX NICE TRY ON DIVERTING WORLD ATTENTION FROM ISRAEL APARTHEID TO HAMAS TERRORISM. THE TWO BIGGEST OBSTACLES TO PEACE ARE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT AND HAMAS.

I BET WITH ALL THE NEWS ABOUT UNSTABILITY IN THE MIDDLE EAST, ISRAEL WILL USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO DIG DEEPER INTO WEST BANK.

  • @athiest97 First of all im glad your using caps because NOW i understand that you're serious. For one, what in God's name are you talking about? The only obstacle is Hamas......How can you even argue this? Over 10 resolutions have been declared by Israel to Palestine while Hamas has been in power, which hasn't been all that long. Everyone of them seems to give more and more land to the Palestinians yet hamas keeps refusing..if Palestine wants to live freely and happily, they'll overthrow Hamas

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX lol omg, u have no understanding of the georgraphy of palestine, FIRST OF ALL, HAMAS IS ONLY IN POWER IN GAZA. IT HAS NO CONTROL IN WEST BANK. YOU ARE CONNECTING THE ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS IN WESTBANK TO HAMAS TERRORISM IN GAZA. TOTALLY ILLOGICAL!!! THE GOVERNING AUTHORITY IN WEST BANK IS FATAH WHICH IS A RELATIVELY PEACEFUL ORGANIZATION. ISRAEL DOES NOT HAVE THE GUTS TO BUILD SETTLEMENTS IN GAZA BECAUSE OF THE STRONG OPPOSITION FROM HAMAS

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX YOU ARE ONE CONFUSED KID. WEST BANK AND GAZA ARE TWO DIFFERENT REGIONS. WEST BANK HAS FATAH, WHICH IS A RELATIVELY PEACEFUL ORGANIZATION AND HAMAS IS IN GAZA AND HAS NO CONTROL OVER WEST BANK WHERE THE SETTLEMENTS ARE. NO ONE IN WEST BANK IS GIVING MORE LAND TO THE PALESTINIANS. DONT TRY TO FOOL US. IN FACT, EVERY YEAR THOUSANDS OF SETTLEMENTS ARE PLANNED IN WEST BANK. TODAY, THE JEWISH SETTLEMENT POPULATION HAS REACHED HALF A MILLION IN THE OCCUP

  • @athiest97 Once again, thanks for the caps! I still understand you're serious now! Your facts are so beyond twisted i can't even comprehend the reason as to how you were even able to turn on your computer. I'm done arguing with ignorant idiots.

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX TYPICAL RESPONSE! EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE MENTIONED IN THE LAST COMMENT IS 100% TRUE. SOURCES INCLUDE UN, ISRAELI AND PALESTINIAN DOCUMENTS.

  • @athiest97 umadbro?

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX ITS INTERESTING HOW YOU CONNECT HAMAS TO SETTLEMENTS IN THE WEST BANK. IF WE HAVE MORE IDIOTS LIKE YOURSELF, OUR WORLD IS GOING TO COLLAPSE.

  • @athiest97 CAPS?

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX OFCOURSE MY CAPS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN "YOU MAKING A POINT" OR "THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE DYING ON BOTH SIDES" OMG I USED CAPS, I SHOULD BE JAILED. IGNORANT

  • @athiest97 UMADBRO?....lol, he's mad.

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX dude yes i was angry and thats the reason for the CAPS. I hate hypocrites. People or nations who say something and do something. US was against the new settlements (and so was the entire world) and until recently they vetoed the settlements and declared them as legal. If US is a becon of justice and liberty, why is it not reflected in its foreign policy. My motive here is very clear, I do not support terrorists and hypocrites.

  • @athiest97 Cool, but your still a load of shit when you point out Israel's flaws yet don't say a word about the horrible corruption and destructiveness of hamas.

  • @XNextGenVideoGamesX , you still dont get it, hamas never claims to be a peaceful government, they themselve say that they are a militarily inspired uprising whose only goal is to destruction. On the other hand, israel claims to be a peaceful organization, WHICH IT IS NOT!, This is hypocrisy. Israel has raised to the ground several palestinian homes (whose members have been living for more than a century) IN WEST BANK, NOT IN GAZA! if hamas is a terrorist, Israel is also a terrorist.

  • @scarab08 Why wait? The situation is likely to deadlocked until the US grows so impatient that it imposes the 2state solution. The Emirates have been very generous to the PA and the Iranians are pumping cash + weapons into the Gaza strip. If Hamas decided to do what Salam Fayyad is doing in the occupied territories, to "unclench its fist", Gaza could become another Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

  • JasonX2008 ya ya waste money ha :D thats why you got nothing poor.your poor country can't build even 1 building Same UaE So go die you stupid jealous.

  • you realize that in 10-15 years (just my guess) UAE's oil will dry up. If they don't become a tourist attraction they won't be able to make money. Can't really do something beneficial with the world without money.

  • They can at least give aid, but no! there wasting there money on all this buildings. They have no heart at all, all they want is profit.

  • Welcome to business

  • Maybe do a little research into geo-economics before you speak such idiotic shit.

  • thanks for the info. you seem to have a lot of knowledge of abu dhabi's oil reserves. you must be important.

  • not important at all really, I don't know when the oil will dry up, but it will eventually, so they're preparing for it. Something most of the world should do.

  • @TombaFanatic 10-15 years? oil will last 50 years or more as more oil reseves are being added every year, more will continue to be pumped and new found.

  • @SolidTube911

I said it was just a guess, I'm no oil tycoon nor an environmentalist.

But sheesh, how far back in the comments were you reading? That's a two year old post.

  • awesome
