why do ubox drivers HAVE to be female? I've got a friend who works for uhaul and is qualified, but was told, female only for this job. sounds sexist to me.

The U-Box is big enough to fit any size mattress including box spring. the inside dimensions are 5x8x7.

@nbbluecat The actual inside dimensions of a U-Box are 4'8" x 7'8" x 6'9" for a capacity of 242 cubic feet. This is 24% less capacity than the 300 cubic feet that U-Haul claims on their website.

I used this service when I was moving from Phoenix AZ to Nashville TN. I never left my house and the U-Box was dropped at my front door in Nashville with no problem. I highly recommend this for anyone. Glad UHaul got into this business
