  • @Dleedude. YOU'VE CLEARLY HAVEN'T HAD AN ANDROID IF YOU SAY IOS HAS TRUE MULTITASKING LMAO!!!

  • @INMATE2468 Indeed I have, and iOS has all the multitasking I need. With Android, I pressed the home button, tapped a new app, but I never really did 2 things at once. With iOS, I find myself double-tapping the home button right in the middle of a game, and go google something. I've never done that with Android.

  • How can you make the messages icon blink on lockscreen?

  • can you make a vid like this with ipad?

  • One word text messages boooooo...

  • I'm fine with the simple iPhone iOS style, so I'm staying on iOS 4 to prevent looking like an Android user.

  • If you want this on iTouch 2g. Three words: Jailbreak, MobileNotifier, and LockInfo.

  • Android should start suing Apple for stealing all there idea's... Just like Apple sues everything that even remotely looks a little bit to there work... God I dislike there work so much, little crybabies...

  • ikr android could sue them for whatever they copy but atleast they are better than that, thats why android seemes a lot better than ios even though ive used both os's i still believe android is better cause ios just seems way to simple unlike android, atleast android is more of a smartphone not a "simple smartphone"

  • @mac10mac20 I don't understand why anyone would want more complication. I understand some people like to spend 5 hours locked away in a room flashing random ROM's every week, but as for me, I'd rather do something else with my time. I like how the iPhone just works, it doesn't need hours of preparation to make it work.

  • @Dleedude what i meant by to simple is it doesnt have much packed in like multitasking, honeycomb and ice cream sandwich have both addressed that and you cant customize an iphone nearly as much as an android without a jailbreak of some sort, it just seems like they barely work on it and throw it out there, its just not all that great of an os, it has been around longer but android has kinda of blown it out of the water for their first os

  • @htfllover123 this is mac10mac20, on another account

  • @htfllover123 I see, I guess it's all opinion. I would argue that too much customization can be a bad thing. I've literally seen so many ugly Android UI's. In my opinion, the UI on iOS is classy, and clean, which is how I like it. I also disagree with the fact that they don't work on it. They actually just don't throw things out there until they work without any flaw. Of course, there are still bugs that get fixed, but things work better. Android hasn't blown anything out of the water imho.

  • @PVTDon Crybabies? They're a business that wants to stay on top...

  • This is for @PVTDon and anyone that thinks that Apple lawsuits are ridiculous... goo[dot]gl/Wcsn9

  • Apple copied android!

  • @Raffythebet you wish, girly

  • @rtwothitu sorry poor user of i os 5, you've copied the best mobile phone OS and now you're too afraid to admit this

  • @Raffythebet No we aren't :)

We're well aware many of iOS's features were taken from Android.

Are we afraid to admit it? No.

Are we going to demean ourselves and buy a product like Android that may or mat not work? No.

iPhone will always be the leader in the smartphone world, regardless of what you may believe.

  • I have an irrelevant question. Whats the name of that song?

  • @andreobaebor It's in the description with a link.

  • The music in the background is really good. I am also interested to know the name of the song.

Does any one what music it is?

  • My lockscreen is nothing like that but in the settings i have them show on lock screen and banners could anyone help pls great vid btw

  • Rebecca is really anoying!ahhahahhaq

  • Weird i can't see my new e-mails on the lockscreen :S even though i have the show on locksreen option activated

  • I think apple should now sue google for stealing this notification system, which google may have invented, but apple now "reinvented"!

  • its the nwe iphone 4s look on the left side ant then up

  • this is iphone 4s, shit and this video was upload in June ))))))

  • OMG THIS SHIT IS SO FAKE

  • Soon the iPhone 4 will start to get laggy...it didn't even open notifications perfectly ... there was some lag.. call me crazy but if I'm paying 750+ for something I expect it to be instantaneous...

  • @stevesg92 Have you ever used Android? It lags 5000000x more, even on hardware nicer than the iPhone. Not to mention, this is a BETA, at that time, a VERY EARLY beta. Now they're getting ready to release iOS 5 to the public, and I'm pretty much positive it won't lag at all, if it does, not nearly as bad as android will lol

  • @Dleedude no, you dont understand. Apple is always behind. I'm pretty sure it was just last year or 2 years ago they just introduced picture messaging...you know that things phones have had for like 7 years? and Android had all of these features years ago too. Apple just lags behind in everything.

  • @Dleedude Have you ever used an Android phone? Most have 0 lag unlike iPhones which, after about 6 months become laggy as hell.

  • @TheDhezballah I unfortunately had a Galaxy S for a year. The stock software was so horrendous I had to root & flash custom ROMs. Throughout my year of owning the Galaxy S, not once did I find a ROM that was actually lag free, bug free, and pretty. I haven't owned my iPhone 4S for more than 6 months yet, but I am doubtful of your statement, considering I've seen year old iPhone 4's lag free still. My iPhone 4S has no lag, it's actually smooth as butter. It's all preference though, so whatever :p

  • 0:15 Interesting Conversation

  • is that iphone 4s it looks like it

  • ive had all thier "new" features for ever with my android

  • The nozificazion Windows is lagging when He swipes down omg

  • Copy Jailbreakers...wow Apple how low will you go

  • I had a Droid for over a year. Didn't even wait for my contract to run out because I disliked it so much. Got my white iphone 4 and I love it. Like everyone else is saying, the apps are terrible, and with so many teenagers using phones, definitely a selling point for us so don't say "apps are no big deal". iOS is muuuuchhh more stable than Android. Promise. haha.

  • Jailbreak ;) i can do that to my iPhone to

  • are you banging Rebecca?

  • Fuck apple

  • @Jimenez9671 fuck android an again the same thing with you apple haters

  • @3GSDANIEL I agree, Android apps are buggy as hell... if you ask me

  • @3GSDANIEL I use a razr

  • Than widgets, than open source, than true multitasking, etc. Copycats ..

  • @INMATE2468 Apple won't open source their phone. That creates a fragmented mess, which is what Android is. As for "true multitasking", isn't that what iOS already has? I don't see how Android has multitasking, I always did one thing at a time with Android. With iOS, I fling between 3 different things seamlessly. How isn't it true? It works better than Android, so if crappy is the definition of true, I'll take the fake...

  • PLEASE HELP: i have iphone 4 and i want to install ios 5. if i do install it on iphone 4, will it lag?

  • @fickomatic No, you won't lag.

  • @Dleedude Android is a laggy fuck. Even Android fanboys will admit that. I've dealt with Android (not used) for over a year.

  • JK I LIKE APPLE AND ANDROID BUT APPLE KIND OF COPIED ANDROID WITH JUST ONE FEATURE KAY

  • LOL WHAT'S NEXT WIDGETS

  • when does iOS 5 comes out?

  • Guys, who needs widgets with notification centre? It's almost like dashboard

  • sup with the gay music, just review it.

  • Android did that 4 years ago O.o

  • @INMATE2468 Yet they still haven't managed to get it to come down without lagging, have they?

  • how do i get the new IOS 5

  • AWWWWW!! REBECCA LIKES YOU <3

  • @XattackalexX

    WUT?

  • Nice so every OS is progressing and taking features from other OSes that are said to be good. If I will ever think of buying an iPhone I will not miss the notification bar.

  • Is this a Android phone? Oh no, the always innovating Apple.

  • @seezu84 :D :D :D

  • AHHAHAHAAHA Apple is a big shit, the notifications are like android phone.. WINDOWS PHONE 7 IS THE BEST !

  • That music is annoying

  • Comment removed

  • Why did they make it so you double tap the home button... multitask menu comes up AND THEN you swipe up... I could see problems with the random swipe popping up:P

  • I love apple and iDevices but those ugly notification ruin the lockscreen.. You can't even see the wallpaper

  • @gianma93 Then turn them off.

  • lockinfo...

  • how can i get the ios 5 ??

    answer me please.

  • Wonder if Steve Jobs' iPhone is jailbroken.

  • Android FTW

  • LMAO LOCKINFO FTMFW!!!!!

  • Android feature is revolutionary!!!apple state it.

  • What if you have a password to unlock your phone? And can you turn off the short preview so that when you get a message it just says "Message: Rebecca"?

  • @alfredo377 Yes, you can turn off the short preview just like you can in iOS 4. If you have a password to unlock your phone, the notification will still show up but when you slide to unlock, it will ask you for your password.

  • android

  • Jailbreakers have had this stuff since 2008.. so, Android Copied Jailbreakers, Now that Apple has created a wonderful generation of devices, They were able to develop this things (that might have been on hiatus for years) without iDevice Freezing. So they didn't copy. And let's face it, Apple is 100% better than a fucking newbie called Android, that is owned by those who can't even afford an iTouch, I bet you would buy one iDevice if you had the money,it is worth like 4 expensive Android phones.

  • @Pooof2ApestocitoTV couldn't agreed more and that's not called apple fanboy but the truth. If evry ideas that came out from jailbreak or even android can't apple use the ideas then the ios will be empty.Apple can't do everytime somthing first

  • @Pooof2ApestocitoTV ...I have a Android and an iTouch... And the Android cost more... And you're retarded

  • So is there no more weather or stocks apps?

  • Everybody. This is one thing that Apple has used from Android which was actually used from the jailbreakers. Android's whole system is basically another implementation of iOS. If you don't like it, don't watch it. I like both operating systems. So you guys who said they copied Android, go post the opposite on Android videos too.

  • @packerbackerfan4 Well said.

  • woooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww....apple copied android..fucken pricks over at apple need to get fucked up!!

  • So many things from Cydia.

  • is it possible to remove weather and stock widgets from the notifications panel?

  • @Ovchar86 Yes, definitely. Most young people who have an iDevice probably don't care about Stocks. lol

  • @XcodeDev ye ur so right i removed it i only have weather on XD

  • @XcodeDev I do...I'm 16 and I monitor my stocks almost daily.

  • @shnunk1 You're some fucked up 16 year old then.

  • @UnrealGlider *sigh* There was no need for that.

  • @XcodeDev how do you take it off? lol

  • Google did not develop these ideas. most of these ideas implemented, where originally developed by a team of Jailbreakers for iOS. android copied the jailbreakers. so dont say apple is copying. in this case, its not copying.

  • It's funny how Apple looks down at the Jailbreak Community they stole lots of ideas from the community that have been there for months if not years and they call it revolutionary? i liked my 3GS but Android does lots more wish Google would release updates faster though instead of dragging their ass :/

  • Looks alot like Android! Wow apple is falling behind. Not revolutionary...Google had this years ago!

  • and apple have the audacity to sue companies for stealing their ideas.

    lmao.

  • iOS 5 basically stole everything from Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry. Sigh...

  • Android had it ages b4 loooool

  • i am kind of pissed off because the notification bar is nothing new.i have been using an app for month found in cydia called intelliscreen and this app allows to even access news links stright from your lockscreen emails ,text, and even reply before even opening the iphone. also you can put your notification bars any where you want on the screen.

  • This makes no sense...my jailbroken iphone4 does everything this does already. and Maybe some more too.

  • @g3k05201314 iOS5 took ideas of Cydia and intergrated it in their OS, nothing to see here move along lol

  • Alright lets get realistic here. There are only a handful of things that can ever be changed on an OS, so there is going to be a ton of similarities. Yes iOS 5 took features that they saw, and thought would also work well on their system. No one is going to say "Ahh well they did it first, so now we should just leave the OS how it is." No the change it to meet the needs of consumers.

  • Never thought I'd see the day Apple ran out of innovations and steal something from it competitor. You can't invent the wheel twice anyway.

  • stop trolling over who stole what.. can't we all just agree that taking ideas from eachother and try to make the most out of their product just benefit the consumer? I think it so sad that people are getting pissed off at eachother over the internet just because they disagree, It's nice to have a discussion, but some of these comments are just plain ridiculous

  • Rip..... Off.....

  • Andriod has taken things from apple, but apple has certainly taken more from Andriod as they keep coming out. - But y'know... Who cares?! =] they are allgreat phones . <3

  • hahaha I had this in my android for ages. :X

  • it is funny cus all that is already when you jailbreak it.

  • Why is that apple does everything that android already has but when apple does it, its REVOLUTIONARY?

  • You texting Rebecca Black??? Haha just kidding...

  • This is ridiculous. These things have been on the iPhone for quite some time now. It's called, um, LockInfo, MobileNotifier, Wifi-Sync 2.0, SnapTap/FastSnap (for volume buttons to take pictures), and there's other things as well. The developers of these jailbroken tweaks/apps could easily own Apple as they designed these ideas first. I doubt Android "created these first" when it's been on repositories on Cydia for a while.

  • Looks like WP7

  • I'm sorry guys but what is wrong with Apple seeing the great features that other developers have and implementing them into their own device. It just improves the experience for everybody. I'd like to say I am a fanboy of neither, my phone is Android and I use my iPod touch equally and think they're both great. I'm glad they're adding these new features and agree that iOS is quite far behind the Android OS in a lot of ways. Why hate on apple though? At least they're trying to improve iOS devices

  • Oh great steal from Android... Fucking Cunts

  • such an android rip off

  • Hey,

    Update:

These instructions will let you bypass activation but apparently will not activate cellular service. You can still use them to preview the operating system but without the ability to make calls, it's far less useful.

Those with an iPod touch could try the instructions posted by Lean in the comments since cellular service is not an issue with that device.

How did you manage to bypass these?

  • iOS 5 Features:

    Android.

  • @tokyodrifte1991 Thats not to say that android hasn't taken a fair share of things from iOS

  • @alantan777 absolutely agree! I'm no apple fan but Android has indeed taken a few ideas from apple..

  • @alantan777 not really

  • @alantan777 Exactly!

  • @alantan777 what, the browser? iMessage infringes on BlackBerry Messenger. The notification drop-down bar infringes on Android. And technically, Android doesnt infringe on iOS because we open-sourced the browser, which opens up the true web experience, which, last time I checked, iOS DOESNT HAVE.

  • @valfor234567 who cares man its a phone. im stoked just to be able to watch youtube videos and do crazy shit with it. beats the old flip phones

  • @tokyodrifte1991 Pathetic. How about letting us completely customize the interface? Or maybe native facebook integration, or the ability to make a ring tone from music in the ipod?? They dropped the ball from what I can see. Most of their "revolutionary" new features, have been in android since 1.6. Oh and the HUGE issue that I have. Why no NATIVE TURN BY TURN NAVIGATION?????????????????????

  • @tokyodrifte1991 and triple price for apple devices

  • @tokyodrifte1991 - after I tested some android apps a while ago, I realized just how BUGGY that Android OS is... omg... what a pain - at least the apple ones will work LOL

  • @tokyodrifte1991 The notification system is both better and more in depth than Android's.

Too bad the new iPhone 4S is a total fail, because the software looks nice.

  • @MikehMike01 I strongly disagree with the fact that the iPhone 4S is a total fail. Siri has actually proved extremely useful for me. I NEVER used voice control on my Galaxy S. EVER. Now that I have Siri, I use it for tons of things. The camera on it is literally so good, I've been using it for video recording over actual video cameras. I have no complaints. Sure, it isn't an iPhone 5, but it's basically what everyone was expecting of the 5, with a smaller screen and the same design as the 4.

  • @Dleedude iOS 5 is great, sure, but the 4S is a disappointment

  • apple inc. is first to sue htc/samsung/android but steals their innovations and ideas

  • why didn't you have the camera button on the lock screen ?

  • @zaraka2 its a beta. in other words, just a demo.

  • @zaraka2 the camera button shows up only when the home button is double tapped. Just like the iPod controls, this way the lock screen UI is clean but maintains that functionality.

  • @zaraka2 You have to double tap the home button. When you do, the camera icon and the iPod controls show up. I think the camera button should always be there, but that's just me.

  • wtf, it's android...

  • @eldievelmoovie

they made it better then android

  • RIPP OFFFF

  • Yeah, keep copying android apple. way to go lol

  • omgz green send button

  • kinda looks like my android phone. had that phone since iphone 3gs was on the market. so getting this in 2011....ummm?? i dont understand what the excitement is about. ive said it before i'll say again, apple well done on playing catch up and making everyone believe that is shit is new.

  • wow that slidedown thing hasnt been on android for like a year...

  • thats sexy

  • All this now if you jailbroke your phone haha. I love the slidedown thing

  • So weather and stock apps are gone now?

  • @mitsubishigalant Nope. Still here but improved. For the weather app you can now view hourly.

  • Androids betaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • Can you change the Notifications apps. Cuz I don't the market in my notifications bar---

  • OH MY GOD!!! it feels like ive seen this before!!..Oh wait

  • Anyone else notice the sms send button is now green? Idk why but I thinks a lot better lol.

  • @gwinig11 Green= normal text messaging Blue= iMessage now :)

  • fail, you still have to reply it by opening the application!
