Dude, this match was fixed. Now before exploding, hear my reasoning:
(1) Anybody could have scored a target of around 260 on a pitch of such quality.
(2) If Pakistan had won, Indians would have rioted and burned stadiums and generally gone mad with violence.
(3) Pak's batting was comically bad.
Also, don't forget all the favouritism the ICC has towards India in the past. Ive got nothing against Indians in general, but hate their corrupt cricket to the core. And also the PCB.

They thought 275 was big target in final & did not mind giving away 1's & 2's. What happened as a result? Sri lanka should have kept close in field just to build up pressure on Indians & test them if they could take risk's for playing bigger shots.

Dude, this match was fixed. Now before exploding, hear my reasoning:
(1) Anybody could have scored a target of around 260 on a pitch of such quality.
(2) If Pakistan had won, Indians would have rioted and burned stadiums and generally gone mad with violence.
(3) Pak's batting was comically bad.
Also, don't forget all the favouritism the ICC has towards India in the past. Ive got nothing against Indians in general, but hate their corrupt cricket to the core. And also the PCB.

They both were using the same tactic against India by slowing building up their innings & launch an attack in the end.
But unfortunately, Younis & other batsmen got out which made the pressure mounted on MISBAH. Did you see Misbah shots at the end? Certainly it's part of plan to play slow then attack at the end.

@GabbruPakistani And yes, India won the final because Sri lanka just did not put enough pressure on Indian batsmen by employing close-in field's. They thought 275 was big target in final & did not mind giving away 1's & 2's. What happened as a result? Out of form Dhoni got easy 1's & 2's then suddenly found his touch & confidence to play bigger shots.
Sri lanka should have kept close in field just to build up pressure on Indians & test them if they could take risk's for playing bigger shots.

Therefore, we can bark as much as we want off the field. Only players know how it feels like on the field. IT'S ALL ABOUT HANDLING PRESSURE & that's what differentiates winners from losers. Pakistan just felt the pressure on field and dropped very easy catches.

It's because NZ had packed close in field intended to dry out runs & mount the pressure on SA. And then what happened as a result? SA went after big shots because 1's & 2's were not coming easily and in the process got all out in quick time. Same thing happened to Pakistan & Sri lanka in the finals as well.
It has element of risk & the team that comes through risk's r successful.

Because of Wahab, Pakistan could have easily won the game. India bowlers were okay normal. Wahab stopped the mighty batsmen if India.
