A stock truck with straight pipe has a lot of screech and they are to high pitched in the higher RPM band. Or he took the silencer ring out and ford's just sound bad. I had a single turbo on my dodge and straight piped and it was horrible. run compounds now and they sound 10x better straight piped.

Personal preference on the engines really. I have a few friends with 7.3's...they are nowhere near as efficient as the 6.6 Duramax or the 5.9 Cummins when it comes to guzzling fuel. Personally I prefer the 6.6 if I have to get a Chevy, otherwise a good ol' 6BT or a 6BT ISB is what I'd rather have.

Ford most definitely has a better frame. Only thing I like about dodge better than chevy is their straight axel. Without cummins they wouldnt have half of the sales that they do have. I know countless people that bought a dodge only because of cummins. The older dodges, pretty solid. The new ones, complete shit.

Dodge pays them to put their engine in it because if it were to go in a ford or chevy...it would rip the frame to pieces with all the low end power. the Ram trucks are well built, and with the Cummins engine it makes it a very relible truck. The Cummins is the best on the market, i just dont know why you 12 and 13 year old kids can get that through your thick head.

Personal preference on the engines really. I have a few friends with 7.3's...they are nowhere near as efficient as the 6.6 Duramax or the 5.9 Cummins when it comes to guzzling fuel. Personally I prefer the 6.6 if I have to get a Chevy, otherwise a good ol' 6BT or a 6BT ISB is what I'd rather have.

Like I said mine is studded, so there goes any head gasket issues, I have and egr delete, there goes any egr problems, and I have an upgraded oil cooler. My truck is bulletproof. If you knew anything about the 6.0 you would know that all of the major 6.0 issues are fixed on my truck. But you dont know shit, so thats why you drive a faggy half ton. so it fits your vagina i guess.

@foxracing279 How about the HPOP the 03-04s were junk and so were the injectors(tips fall of and burn up pistons unless yours is a late 04 and up 6.0 then no problem. 6.0s can be reliable it just takes money and time to do so.

@Mattman7342 Okay I will. The transmissions are weak. Their front and rear ends are pretty weak. I have seen many loose their rear end at 100k miles or less. Plus, they are ugly as hell. Ford most definitely has a better frame. Only thing I like about dodge better than chevy is their straight axel. Without cummins they wouldnt have half of the sales that they do have. I know countless people that bought a dodge only because of cummins. The older dodges, pretty solid. The new ones, complete shit.
