that is cool you talk about the bbs and antifreeze of course we don;t have that problem in florida with water freezing like that you seem to have there but well made video
Actually its pointless to spray the soapy water on BL side(for checking air leaks). Because if it leaks it will leak between the inner BL ring and tire. Not between the tire and outer BL ring. If you know what I mean. But thumbs up
Your videos are great man. Put up some more! Quick question. I'm new to off road and I want to put big tires on my 87 XJ. Aside from bigger wheels and tires, what else do you need when you up-size your tires? Any help is appreciated! Keep up the great work.
@jmwenzel87 you wont need bigger wheels that for sure! It really depends on how hard you want to wheel it. I suggest you join your local 4x4 club and wheel what you've got first, then grow your jeep along with your knowledge of offroad!
Great Vid Bro! I was wondering this for a while, do you use a tire that is sized for the rim or do you use a slightly smaller tire to give you the rubber to clamp onto? like a 15 inch tire on a 16 inch wheel? any help would be appreciated!
Hey matt just from swamp rat to another try this instead of using soap on your rim get a aerosol can of VO5 womans Hairspray give the tire a good blast of this just before seating beads have you ever put handle grips on a bike slide on good never come off or turn stick like kid crap on a blanket this just about eleminates bead blowouts does`nt rust the rim either.
So would you recommend using bb's to balance a daily drivers tires. Im looking to run 33's on my pathfindeer and was looking into either copper bb's or dynabeads. Any suggestions?
@xmoddriver16 If you can balance the regular way then I would first do that. However, I did use a shot glass of BB's on 33" super swampers for a long time and they ran great down the highway. I haven't tried Dynabeads but do know that you can install them through the valve stem without dismounting the tire. The only drawback is price!
awesome video, thank you for taking the time to make it

@raidokolk true but you can still see the bubbles coming from between the rings when you spray the area.
