Thank you for posting and if there is way to thanks all the people singing in there and tell them their voices are inspiring people around the world, so they keep up the hope and to touch our souls!!! Thank You - OXEUM!!!!
I mean how the sound and the energy is powerful, regardless of your religious stance.I am an atheist, btw, but I have no problem enjoying this beautiful music.
Beautiful and Amazing! Sincere, Simple and Pure!! Just like Christ Jesus!! Definitely it must be received as a fragrance in Heaven!! Unlike the Pseudo Christian singers that only give concert by charging! Apostasy!
can anybody help me where I can get the sheet music or songbook for this style of authentic african songs. The sound is very "down to earth" and inspiring. The most songbooks and sheet music I can find are totally different.. I can't seem to find my trail! Please help someone :)!

Surely, there is none other who deserves to be praised other than the Lord Jesus for saving us from sicknesses, wars and giving us everlasting life. Tikuwonga nadi.... wanyithu wakuluta yumozayumoza kweni ise mwatisunga naumoyo wandanda - tikuwonga, tawonga Fumu yewo.. A song of praise to the Lord in appreciation of the gift of life as many have lost their lives but God continues to take care of us. Positani tina toteleti tikumatikumbutsa kumudzi. Tawonga Ehh Khristu!!!
Yeah right. The same God that let millions of people die every year from simple preventable diseases. No, the fate of mankind is in our hands, not Gods
Well... and also the animals of the earth and stuff from the earth that feeds, the wind in the air that can be like a simple breeze or a "tormenta" or hurricane and other natural phenomon that can easily destroy civilization as well as cosmological phenomon like the possibiltiy of an asteroid hitting the earth... in the end of the day we humans really aren´t as responbile for ourselves as we like to think. But whateve just my humble opinion
That accapella singing is so beautiful! I wish that someone who speaks that language [which language is it btw?] would post a translation of the words. I also wish that CDs and videos of this choir would be produced to help support the choir and their families & community. It's great to hear the music for free, but it would be even better to give something back to this choir after hearing the music.
black people have such a beautiful rich quality to their voices. i would looove to be able to sing in a choir like this. the harmonies are so beautiful
My conductor went on a missions trip to Africa. He brought back recordings for us to listen to and I'm so amazed by their sound. The sopranos have no limit to their range :]
We are performing an African song in our next concert, my conductor told us not to be so "white" in our movements haha I hope to do them proud :]
these kids outperform any of the highest trained european choirs. i am european-american. long live my african ancestors! i hope to return there one day.
What I added 4 days ago are the words of the song. unfortunately, the space was not enough for translation. That is why I just wrote exactly what the words are. You can try and follow using these words
OH I love you kids with your angelic voices....Touching and overwhelming.Anyone can translate this song to me..I don't undestand the words or language but this song brings tears to my eyes...Superb...Keep singing you never know you will touch hundreds of thousands heart with your songs.
You are so naturally in harmony with each other, as a choir leader, I would love you all to come to Australia and join our choir. You are amazing! So gifted! May God Bless You all!
Cykuck250,I love tradicional african music, and, all of youtube, this video is The better. Thank you for post them. Do you know all letter of this music? The harmony is wonderful.
tank you very very much for bringing such excelent video to youtube! The african culture is supreme. Nice chant... i could listen all day long... just perfect!
African has such tight harmonies, I love it. Western music can do the same but somehow it just isn't as enjoyable, it's too mechanical and almost too technically sound.
This makes me want to go to Africa and see the people and nature so badly. It almost brings tears to my eyes.
