they have something alot of dancers period dont have as a young dancer. port de corps. alot of dancers dont have this when they first begin. and these boys actually used their heads it beautiful.
OH HELL NO!!! the lil kids are AMAZING!! theres no word to describe how good they are.. and 99.9% of the time they are n SYNC!! omg!! one day ill be that good. too bad im not 12 anymore.. hhaahha! good job boys u keep dancing ballet!!!!!!!
just like the selection of wooden floors to dance have an impact on body the same with the exercises...the ball of the foot constanly holding 70-100pounds in balance? No wonder there are so many foot problems with ballet dancers. specially those in 120-35 those kids are not dancing but doing circus acts. At the barre is the place for those, at that age. No wonder males do not care for ballet...let them dance!
All the work on demi-pointe is not only for balance, but for strength, and is necessary in any serious classical ballet training. Notice that every student is able to achieve these exercises; this is a graded curriculum developing strength while protecting muscles. However, these are very small assembles (jumps from one to two legs) that close late, and uncertain turns.
kudos, the guys totally rock. What discipline and technique. Still that teacher sounds like a dictator. The first excercises are too much for the ball of the foot. Wonder why there is only 8 kids in that class? That kind of dance give the back, the neck and the calves a spasm! the first min. are painful to watch. No wonder the boys do not want to dance ballet. It hurts. Any comments?
Is this the Vaganova school (Leningrad)? cause wow, that's control.. and what a foot work!! you can really listen to how they use the flour; amazing.. and their legs! not hipertrofied at all.. I'm really, really impressed, thanks.
they're GREAT!!

Not true, althought this may just be the country I'm in, the UK.
I was in 4th grade when I was 11 and I am now in Intermediate and hopefully soon to be in Advanced.
I'm 14.
