  • This is great... except for the bad spelling.

  • "Friends, Romans and Countrymen" do you allude to Asterix and Obelix, you know "Friends, Gauls, Countryman"- by the way most films show the roman legions in the famous Imperial armor in all periods (Republic, Empire, Western Empire, Eastern Empire)

  • Ohh Dear :(, Sorry about that spelling mistake. I'm afraid my Latin has it's limitations :L. But Thank you.

  • @MalteseFalcon786 Feel free to ask any more questions and i will try to solve them.

    All the best, Ben Turner

  • With the influx of barbarians into the ranks of the Roman army, there culture would of been absorbed and therefore there armour would of been used. But its over such a long period it hard to put a date to it. But i would say it started as soon as the Empire started offering Citizenship to all of its army. Both Friends, Romans and Countrymen. Of Course this never happened in the Romans eyes, they were the best! and no barbarian or his armour could replace Roman steel! But we known the truth.....

  • good republic units u dont see many of them

  • thanks

  • nice work

  • it does!
