MATRIARCHY CLANS ARE ALWAYS EGALITARIAN- children are never shunned b/c all children are legitimate,a legal term/ thru the mothers clan group-the child belongs to the mothers clan-not to the father-no family violence or sex abuse-thats the way it used to be- until schools came and REPLACED GRANDMOTHERS WISDOM /MOTHERS PROTECTION
Sounds to me as if the Lakota had all the right ideas on how to live an ethical and moral and spiritual life without a book or a messiah to have to tell them how to live a fulfilled life it just goes to show that the white, judeo-Christian Religion has been the cause of more suffering than anything else.
As people watch this BEAUTIFUL presentation I would like to remind you all that; Native Americans NEVER had prisons. While on the other side of the world Jesus himself was thrown into a prison. THINK a second about what that SAYS about the cultural and values systems of each!!! Before the white man came to this land there was NO jails,NO sheriffs, NO policemen!!! Now who was the SAVAGES????
Very insightful thoughts. Just think what we could achieve as a society if we created a way of life which benefited the majority, rather than a few greedy elites.
@hybeerian I am every nationality BUT Native American and Middle-Eastern, however feel most drawn to native American/Middle Eastern culture. I agree with your statements, the old way was right. Keep in mind, White is the color of death to every culture except white peoples.
It is so amazing there is no money involved in this venture of life. This is why I love the barter system. Love with highest vibrations to Russell Means and the Lakota clan. I perceive us all as a Free Clan of Mother Earth. I am compelled to share we are one, all is well.
Awesome video! The rest of the world could learn much from your wonderful value system. Decent people everywhere must all rise up to support Russell Means and the Free Republic of Lakota!
When I heard about how the children of the Lakota Nation obtain skills in memory makes me think how the way we live today probably ruins my memory skills. Cause, I do have a problem with memory. As a Buddhist, memory is called Sati. It is important to have sati and develop Sati. I think the Lakota way of life, aids in the development of sati.
I think you are probably right. One thing about reincarnation that troubles me is that if you don't retain your memories from past lives, how can you keep going on the path to enlightenment and not make the same mistakes from previous lives? By the way, I think I get the 2012 reference :-).
its dosnt matter about reincarnation being real or not the thing is if it is real it is a state of hell that you dont want to think about lwet alone want.
Thanks for sharing the video - The Lakota way of raising a child is certainly keeping the spirit of preserving the band, whereas so much of child raising now is all about self-preservation and benefiting oneself. It's unfortunate to see that everyday, seeing everyone live for themselves.
Thank you, zacuan, once again, for this very informative video. You have taught me so much and I have already started looking for this book (I'm reading Lakota Woman now, thanks to you, and learning so much from it as well). Looking forward to your next production. ~Barb
Thank you Much Respect~pCe~

Thankyou for such an excellent presentation.. So much more civilised and advanced than anything Europe has ever proposed..
And so much more 'Christian' than any Christian organisation could ever hope to be.

The only way to unlock those memories is through regression. If only it was that easy to regain past memories naturally just like that.
