FINALLY! I BEAT THIS GAME AFTER 2 YEARS OF TRYING! (But with warps)

By the way guys, What the princess means by "B to select a world", I found that if you press B, the world you start at goes up. Say, press it once then it changes the starting world to 2-1, then press be again then you will start at 3-1, then 4-1 etc.

I recieved NES and this game and the duck Hunt combination for my eighth birthday and was so addicted that I could beat it in the walkthrough way after defeating the princess over and over and over without dying in a half hour flat.

its possible in 2 ways

1) the fire is encased in thin glass.

or

2) there is a pump blowing out blue oil igniting the flames in a constent rate.
