Collection agencies and your credit

I am 40 and have been out of work for three and a half years thanks to this problem. I have no education because I cannot afford it and my credit is shot. I live on $700.00 a month SSD & most likely will never work again because of thesed road blocks. God Bless the USA.

Anyone that sides with the cooperate elite on this matter is the lowest form of life on this planet. This cannot be allowed to go on. A country that caters to the cooperate elite at the expense of it's citizens is a country that will not last. These bankers and lawyers and outsourced debt collectors are nothing more than members of a class system that feeds off of the hard work, sweat, blood, and tears of the citizens of the USA. Round and round - can't pay the debts until we get a job, yet these people, who clearly want their money, make it harder and harder to get a job. Doesn't make much sense.

Exactly! What does your credit rating have to do with getting a job? They make it hard for people to get work, than when people owe money, they can't pay it because they can't get a job, because the company that you thought you were going to work for pulls your credit report and decides not to hire you because of what is on your credit report. These are literally the "days, of the jackals."

jerryERRN, you are absolutely correct! Collection agencies are worse than scum! Lower than dirt! They prey on the misfortunes of their fellow man. I found out how to stop them in their tracks though. I'm spreading the word. I want to put every collection agency out of business! I'll tell anyone who wants to know, how to put the fucks to those parasites!

You are mistaken, it is by the FDCPA that you can exert your legal rights against a collection agency NOT by the Fair Credit Reporting Act

To request a cease and desist of oral communication you must fax or write them a letter.

You also said that gas was 1.59, if only that was true.

Please don't refer to the collection industry as scum of the earth.

The industry is changing dramatically and more and more agencies are in 100% compliance of all FDCPA and State laws.

You are right about the law FDCPA but as far as how good the collection industry is what a joke. so when you lose your job or a family member I hope some of your good friends are the ones calling you.
