The DBS isn't as good as the Vanquish. It's better looking but not as fast.

I tend to agree with you on that. The Vanquish S is much better looking than the DBS. The DBS is too "out there" for an Aston for my opinion.

i think it's sort of like the BMW M3 up against the M5 is that wat ur trying to say .... and the DB9 is a cruiser more than anything ... if u wanna go really hard get either this or a Vanquish S (not the normal vanquish the gearbox is worse than the S lol)

Thanks for uploading this, was especially interesting to listen to your conversation with the owner, quite nice to get an Aston owners opinion on the different models.

Though I have to say, even though the DB9 has the bigger engine, extra seats etc, the AMV8 would be my car of choice, I just love how it manages to perform so well without losing a spot of luxury, feels more like a racer than the DB9.

Drove a V8 Vantage at Croft circuit, Yorkshire yesterday. Stunning! The noise is addictive. Flat out in 3rd and 4th gets it singing well. Also drove Porche Caymen, nice but not got that Aston something.

I love v8 vantage. I only seen it once but just for about 20 seconds :( Amazing car. There not many of them in my city I guess :(

Yeah, I some some maseratis but not many astons. There are not many Vantages I think. I think that there are more DB9s. I see DB9 probaly three times in a month.

I have only been in a 1990's Carrera, so for me to compare the two would be unfair. But I guess Porsche have rather high standards, as do Aston Martin, but I'm going to go with the Aston in this case...because I love them. :D

No worries mate, I believed you! They do sound absolutely awesome in the flesh, don't they! I've nearly got whiplash a few times snapping my head around to see where that noise is coming from! I think the DB9 is better proportioned, but its a moot point really. They're both off the end of Top Gear's "Cool Wall"...

The sound even better from inside with the windows down. The DB9 is cool, especially in black, but the Vanquish S is far supreme in my opinion.
