This is not a "fat burning" exercise. The stupidity regarding fitness is amazing, given there is a huge knowledge base available. People simply repeat nonsense they hear, w/o thought.
This is a fitness and cardio exercise. "Burning fat" takes long, slow exercise. Now, to be perfectly clear, the best way to lose weight is to eat less. This cannot be argued, as it is basic science. You can run a marathon on the calories in a Snickers bar. Lose the Snickers bar everyday, lose weight.
@dmw7752 you have no idea of what you speak. They didn't say "this burns calories". Anything one does burns calories, including typing or thinking. The issue is whether it is specifically fat burning now. Long, slow work causes the body to use fat as energy. Fast paced work causes the body to use glucose. Obviously, at some point, if you burn more cals than you take in, fat must be used to make up the difference. That's not what they claimed, and so I am correct. You are welcome.
@kenfo0 Don't know if you are speaking in terms or just stupid. I would need the raw energy from four kingsize snickers bars to get the energy to do a marathon. And that is before the calories used to digest the thing is counted. Work out, eat whaterver.
@thund3rpantiez you are just stupid, as is clear even from your moniker. Digestion? HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, dumbass. That's a HUGE calorie burner, you fat ass. You are obviously a graduate of the leftist brainwashing factories called "public education", in which when asked "what's 1 plus 1", you answered "3", got an 'A' and were told how "creative" you are. Take your weak nonsense somewhere else, you pathetic dolt.
I just love all these SEAL fit routines and work them into my kickboxing classes I teach. Even the toughest of the tough look @ me like their balls crawled back into their stomach afterwards.
@nervykane mainly your core shoulders and thighs but technically everything seal fits and us crossfits try to incorporate everything and trying to reach ultimate muscle fatigue
Any time you are in a push up position you are working your core. Doing the rows works your core because you have to hold your upper body in place while you change the weight distribution on your sides. Squatting works your lower core, and having weight above your head and balancing is also a core workout. You don't have to do crunches to have a 6 pack.
In fact, burning fat with workouts like these is a quick way to sculpt your abdominals.

I've come to dread anything involving Man makers and/or Curtis P's. God help us, if they show up together in a Work Capacity. ;]
